Purr is a perfume by American Pop Star Katy Perry. I tend to collect perfumes as I love having different scents for different occasions. First of all, I love the bottle. Whilst I admit I do prefer 'glamorous' bottles of perfume and this does look a bit childish - it is in fact very, very smart and cute. The bottle consists of a purple cat. It's very smart indeed and really stands out on my dressing table. So full marks there for creativity. The perfume is very fruity- I can smell the peach faintly. Luckily it isn't too strong as otherwise it could become too sweet and sickly, although the amount of peach seems to be just right. After a while I can also smell the vanilla. It's lovely and fresh. I find that when I wear this perfume it makes me feel flirty and youthful. I would consider this perfume to be more of a summery perfume rather than a winter-y one as it is very light. It's great for daytime wear and also for summer evenings when you're off to the pub or something. This perfume has good staying power which is great as it means that you don't have to keep re-applying it throughout the night. A few squirts usually lasts all evening which is good. I would recommend this perfume. Thanks for reading! November 2013 Xd-o-n-z-x
Katy Perry shows the world her first perfume 'Purr' in a perfect way! It embodies everything about Katy Perry and these may be more obvious to her fans: such as the tongue and cheek of the name, the overly camp bottle and a scent that is a mixture of a sweet young perfume, with a more grown up twist. It's almost a transition perfume that mixes what old and young adore! The top notes are sweet peach and a fruity twist of apple and mixed up with flowers such as jasmine blossom, freesia and bulgarian roses. The scent has alot of depth to it, and it really is a strong scent that is sure to stay on for hours! The depth is also good when choosing a perfume since it will release these scents throughout the day. This means that you won't smell all these amazing scents all at once, no, instead you may smell more of the jasmine blossom at first, and later smell the fruitiness of it! - This is what you look for in higher end perfumes and I didn't expect to find it here! I bought this scent initially for just under £60 - this was the first day it was released and you can now buy it for 1/3 of the price on amazon! - Of course I have bought more and I really do think it's worth a price tag of about £40 for 100ml (even though it's now £20!) The box it comes in looks a little cheap but I feel like this is only down to the typography on the cover. I do graphic design so this might just be looking too much into it! I do however love the metallic box it comes in and it really does look great! The bonus is getting this perfume with the cardboard sleeve as Katy looks great on it!! PROS: The smell is gorgeous and it's not your typical fruity/floral perfume The bottle looks great, it doesn't feel cheap and it feels expensive The silver heart around the never has never snapped or discoloured, which is a pro since other perfumes like this normally do! The price: It's super cheap and I think it's down to demand, rather than the quality that comes with it CONS: The bottle may not be to everyones taste. I'm a huge Katy fan and I do love the look! The bottle is also very heavy. I've never knocked it over as the base is great, but it's not the lightest thing to travel with! And thats where my cons end! Overall: This perfume is super cute, sexy but in a feminine grown up way!
I received this as a gift for my birthday from my lovely hubby after smelling a sample in boots and mentioning I liked it (man points for him remembering). With it being a gift I'm not too sure where he got it or how much he paid but it can still be bought in boots and other perfume shops and retails at about £17- £25. Not a bad price for perfume although for some reason I do find celebrity fragrances sell for less. Upon opening the wrapping paper I was greeted by a nice silver box with the writing Purr by Katy Perry. The perfume only comes in one size, 50ml which is what I got. I opened up the silver box and the bottle is shaped like a cat (very cute) and it is purple in colour. It also has a heart around its neck and to spray you . . . pull the head off! To apply the bottle just has a standard push spray and not one of the annoying pour ones. As I couldn't wait to try my new perfume I sprayed my wrists with a few squirts and rubbed it in. The smell was just right, not too overpowering but just the right strength. The perfume smells quite sweet and fruity to me and it a really nice girly fragrance. Heart notes Vanilla Orchid, White Amber, Creamy Sandalwood, Skin Musk Top notes Peach Nectar, Green Bamboo, Forbidden Apple, Gardenia Base notes Jasmine Blossom, Pink Freesia, Bulgarian Rose Before going out I put the perfume on again just to make sure I smelt extra nice. After an hour or so I stopped noticing the smell but Hubby said he could still smell it after a few hours. At the end of the evening the smell had pretty much worn off (about 5 hours) which is a shame as it's a really great fragrance but doesn't seem to have as long as lasting power as some of my other perfumes. I now use this as a day to day perfume because when going out I like to wear something I know I'll still be able to smell on myself at the end of the night but this is a great perfume at a great price in a very cute bottle, it's just a shame it doesn't last a little longer
I don't really go in for these celebrity branded perfumes because I often find they lack the quality you get from more established brands. I also find that a lot of what you pay for is the gimmick and the branding rather than a decent perfume. That said, when I find a celeb perfume on the cheap I'm always intrigued because they tend to be pretty light and not too strong smelling so they make good day scents. I like a bargain so when I found this Katy Perry fragrance discounted to £10 I knew I had to try it out. I have tried the other Perry scent, Meow, and reviewed it on dooyoo previously. I liked the other perfume as a day scent but did find it both a little lacking in quality and in parts overly sweet and a little cloying. I bought this at the same time so I didn't know much about it before I tried it. This perfume comes in a very strange kitsch looking little cat shaped bottle. This one is a lovely dark purple colour and every bit as weird and perhaps wonderful as Katy Perry herself. I find the bottle at once completely naff and then at the same time quite quirky and fun. I can't totally make up my mind but I think it probably falls into the category of so hideous it almost becomes quite nice. The fragrance is another light fruity scent with floral and musky undertones. Though I prefer floral scents I do like fruit fragrances for the day time and find them very young and fresh generally. The top notes in this perfume are gardenia, bamboo, peach and red apple. I like this mix of tart fruit smells and the floral gardenia as it gives an instant freshness which is very light, summery and definitely uplifting. I think bamboo is a very unusual perfume scent and one I haven't come across before. That said, you can't really pick it up in this perfume anyway. The middle notes are jasmine, freesia and rose which are a lovely floral combination that still manages to smell very young and fresh. I like the way these more classics scents mix with some of the more exotic scents in this perfume to creates what almost becomes like a fusion between two cultures. The base notes are musk, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, coconut and orchid. So quite a few then! I personally think the perfume could do with reducing the number of different scents in it because it becomes a little confusing and so many of these great chords are completely lost. I love that the coconut adds another exotic feel whilst the floral orchid and lovely musky/woody smells combine to give a sweetness and an earthiness that deepens the scent. This perfume is best suited to day time because all of the chords come together to create a very light, fresh and summery smelling scent. I would still use this in winter though it is definitely best suited to summer/spring. This perfume retails at around £15-£40 depending on whether you go for the 30ml, 50ml or 100ml bottle. I got my 50ml for £10 which is an absolute bargain but if you shop around I'm sure there are deals to be had. Overall, this is a nice day perfume that has lovely fresh uplifting smells.
I'm not really a fan of celebrity perfumes and I didn't buy this myself - I recieved it as a Christmas present last year. I must admit that I wasn't very impressed by the bottle as in my opinion it's quite cheap and plasticy looking, although the design will definitely appeal to some people. I have got the 100ml version of this which is the largest and there's also 30ml and 50ml versions available. The prices vary depending on where you buy it from - it's very widely available and a range of drugstores, supermarkets and gift shops sell it as well as various online retailers. A 100ml bottle retails at around £50.00 but it can be found for less than half the price on Amazon. The silver perfume box is tall and rectangular and it has a purple sleeve over it. There's a photograph on the front showing Katy Perry wearing a leather cat suit, posing next to a gigantic ball of wool. It's supposed to be sexy I think, but I found it really bizzare - I'm not a Katy Perry fan though which is probably why! The perfume's name is written in silver writing on the sleeve and purple writing on the box itself. The box overall is okay but not anything special - I chucked mine in the bin! The glass perfume bottle is tinted with a deep shade of purple and it is shaped like a cat - the lid is the head and the slightly rounded bottle is the body. The 'head' has large silver eyes which are quite eye catching and 'glitzy'. The bit beteen the head and body is designed to look like a chunky silver collar and this has a heart shaped pendant attatched to it. Katy Perry's name is written on the bottom of the bottle in silver writing and the base of the bottle is silver. The design of the bottle isn't my cup of tea at all and I feel that it is quite a young design. I am only twenty one, so I think that this would appeal mainly to teenagers.. or cat lovers. Despite the slightly tacky and plastic look of the bottle, it is very sturdy and the detailing eg the collar/pendant is securely attatched - I have had my bottle for over ten months and it has no missing bits. The spray part of the bottle is easy to use - just aim it at your skin and press down. The perfume comes out in a fine mist and I find that one or two sprays on my wrist provides enough scent, hence why I've had this perfume for so long. I usually apply perfume to my neck as well as my wrists, but I find that this can soon become over-powering if I apply more than a couple of sprays. The manufacturers describe this perfume as having a 'deliciously flirty' scent. It has top notes of peach, bamboo, gardenia and apple with heart notes of vanilla, amber, sandalwood and musk. The base notes consist of jasmine, freesia and rose. Despite being initially unimpressed with the perfume due to the bottle, it actually smells amazing! As soon as I've sprayed a bit onto my wrist the fresh, sweet scent is noticeable and I find that it's quite an uplifting smell because the floral notes are really fresh, light and summery. The smell is very girly and 'fun' while not being too young smelling; the balance between sweet and floral is just right and the hint of woodiness adds a nice edge. The most prominent smell to me is vanilla with fruity tones. This is a versatile fragrance and I usually wear it if me and my boyfriend are going somewhere nice as it has a flirty, playful edge - it is suitable for daytime wear too, though. The lasting power is excellent and the fragrance lasts for around six hours before the scent starts to fade. Overall, recommended.
I'd never really been a perfume girl, I found them to be a waste of money really, especially the celebrity ones as they just seem to make them as a means for more money and the bottle always looks tacky. However when I heard Katy Perry was making one I was very interested as she's a pretty kooky celebrity (and I have a massive girl crush on her). When the design of the bottle was released I decided I had to buy it, even it smelt horrible because it was in the shape of a cat! (I have four cats and will be the crazy cat lady from the Simpsons when I am older), plus it was purple, my favourite colour. Katy Perry has a cat herself called 'Kitty Purry' too which probably was the inspiration for perfume. I wasn't too impressed with the photo that accompanies this perfume though as I don't really like the full body latex suit Katy wears on the front even though she still looks amazing. So I was bought the perfume for Christmas, it was about £30-£40 for 50ml from The Perfume Shop, my mum MADE me smell it before she bought it as she didn't want to waste the money. I'm not very good at describing smells so I'll post the description... 'The fragrance is a rich eau de parfum which opens with a fresh citrus accord of peach nectar and forbidden apple to awaken the senses. It develops into a delicate floral bouquet supported by notes of jasmine blossom and pink freesia and dries down into a rich, luxurious scent rich with vanilla orchid and sandalwood.' Reading that, it sounds like it's going to have too many smells to be nice and would put me off. However it's a girly, sweet but quite sexy smell and I very much like it, it isn't a typical floral smell either which can be very overpowering and heavy, it's fresh and modern with a twist. Plus I can still smell it on my skin at the end of the day, not as strong of course and I would apply another spray if I was going out again. The packaging was nice and simple, a square purple box inside another silver box with a cardboard cover featuring the picture of Katy Perry dressed as latex body suited cat playing with string and looking sexy as usual, giving the buyer connotations of a 'sex kitten' I guess? The bottle itself is quite stylish and well designed, you would think a cat shaped perfume bottle would look naff but I can assure you it doesn't! It is made from translucent purple glass and the lid is what gives it the distinctive cat features, ears and silver jeweled eyes with a slightly pointed nose, the actual bottle is really well ergonomically designed too as it fits in my hand perfectly and comfortably, it has a raised pattern at the back for the tail. The 'cat' has a silver collar and heart tag with the name of the perfume 'Purr' inscribed on it. Katy Perrys name is written in sliver above the sliver bottom of the bottle. So if you are a KatyCat (one of her obsessed fans), love cats and the colour purple this perfume is definitely for you! I've had this perfume since Christmas and I am currently about half way through the bottle, although I haven't used it everyday. Obviously try out the smell instore before you buy because everyone's smells smells differently but most people who have smelled me wearing this have loved it! This year for Christmas, I am asking for her new perfume called 'Meow' which is the same except it is a pink colour !
~ Katy Perry - Purr, Eau de Parfum ~ Last Christmas I was lucky enough to receive lots of lovely presents a few of which were perfumes. Included in these was Katy Perry Purr, which incendently I had actually hinted for quite a few times. The main reason I wanted it was not because I am a Katy Perry fan but for the superbly gorgeous bottle the perfume came in. It's really lovely. The box was rather plain, just silver with the logo/name written in purple, yet opening it up I found the deep purple coloured cat shaped bottle. The lid is shaped like a cats head and it doesn't sit on the bottle very well unless you remove the collar charm around the neck. With the charm there the lid is loose so can not be picked up by the head. But still it's great to look at it! The cats eyes are stuck on and these are little crystal like gems. The body of the cat is the bottle, it's quite thick glass and it sits on a sliver coloured base. The colour is an amazing deep purple shade which looks very cool and quirky. Being so impressed with the bottle I was hoping that the scent inside would deliver and I am pleased to say for me it 100% did. I have to admit I do quite like celeb perfumes and I do own quite a few different ones, however this seems one of better celeb scents. For those interested the notes are ~ Top Notes ~ Peach, Forbidden Apple, Gardinia and Green Bamboo. Heart Notes ~ Jasmine, Pink Freesia and Bulgarian Rose. Base Notes ~ Vanilla Orchid, Creamy Sandalwood, White Amber, Coconut and Musk. My intial thoughts were that it was a fun, flirty, sweet scent that I happened to like really love. I could pick up a peachy scent with a lot of coconut undertones. It had a nice creamy tropical scent. I am glad I didn't really look into this perfume much as I don't usually like musky nor vanilla scents but they work incredibly well in this. The notes used in this work so well as they are balance each other out brilliantly. I wear this quite a lot compared to some of my perfumes as I really think it's a scent that last incredibly well. I do spray quite a lot, probably two spritz on my neck, one on each wrist and then another four quick ones over me (so to speak) and it really does last hours. I wore it on a night out recently and my top still smelt of Purr in the morning, it wasn't as noticeable on my skin however it was still lingering slightly so I would say it has a staying power of around six hours plus. The musk and vanilla isn't something I can easily pick out and I think this is down to the coconut as it is this that comes through more on me. It's a nice gentle sweet scent that is suitable for both day and night wear. Prices vary from store to store but rough prices are ~ 30ml - £16.75 50ml - £18.99 100ml - £23.99 Thanks for reading :o) x
When the number of popular celebrities releasing fragrance after fragrance you pretty much become a bit sceptical about the unique scent that the perfume has to offer. I often find that a lot of perfumes on the market are one extreme to the other; either completely musky or extremely sweet. This one intertwines both ends of the spectrum and has a delicate floral aroma that also smells rather sweet. I have never been so impressed and addicted to a fragrance before. The bottle is definitely a bonus too! I purchased the 100ml bottle which is the largest one available on the high street and online which is a beautiful shade of purple with a silver collar and plastic crystal effect eyes on the cat's head. If you're also the sort of person that appreciates the packaging your item comes in, the box is also really nice - usually found on the shelves with Katy perry in a leather cat suit for the outer sleeve and then a simple silver box with purple writing on it. When I have previously purchased other perfumes with a similar (but not the same) style of scent, I have not experienced the long lasting fragrance as this one which is why I'd definitely buy it again. A Little tip for everyone who isn't particularly keen on paying a large sum of money for it - Christmas and January sales are always a bonus as I got mine for £25 instead of £50. Always worth keeping your eyes open for bargains, because you'll be able to buy more, result!
When I saw the bottle of Katy Perry's Purr I knew I wanted it - I didn't even care what it smelled like, I just had to have that bottle! Unfortunately for the first couple of months after it was released it seemed to be sold out in all the shops and I couldn't get my hands on it for love nor money. By the time the shops seemed to be stocking it again, I couldn't really justify buying it as I had other priorities, but my lovely fiancé came to the rescue and bought me a bottle for my birthday. ==Packaging== The bottle comes in a silver box, which has an outer sleeve featuring a picture of singer Katy Perry in a cat suit on all fours playing with a ball of string! This sleeve slides off to reveal a rather plain looking silver box inside with just the product name. The bottle is amazing and I've never seen anything like it elsewhere. Made from purple glass, the bottle is a cats body, with the lid being a cats head, complete with jewelled eyes. I'm not really a cat person (more of a dog lover) but I couldn't resist this bottle. It's so, so pretty and unusual! It also has a silver collar with a heart shaped tag attached - and be warned, this does rattle against the bottle quite a bit and is fairly annoying. ==The fragrance== The top notes of this perfume (according to fragrantica.com) are bamboo, peach, red apple and gardenia. Even on paper this sounds lovely to me, but it practice it's even better. It's such as light, sweet and fruity fragrance. I can't actually smell bamboo (to be honest I'm not even 100% sure what bamboo smells like) but I can detect the fruity apple and peach. The gardenia however is rather strong, it smells quite green and fresh but I do think it overpowers the other ingredients somewhat. Still, on the whole I would say that this is a nice opening to the scent. As it settles on the skin, the gardenia smell seems to fade and the middle notes begin to come out. I was quite surprised to read that these are jasmine, rose and freesia. This probably sounds like quite an overpowering floral combination, but in reality I think the perfume stays smelling quite light and fresh and although I can smell a hint of rose it doesn't smell too flowery or old fashioned, in fact it's quite modern and sweet smelling. The base notes are listed as being sandalwood, vanilla, orchid, musk, amber and coconut. Musk, sandalwood and vanilla are probably the ones I can most identify with in here, as it has a very sweet, woody scent the longer it's been on the skin. It does stay very girly right up until the end. The overall fragrance I get from Purr is beautiful. I perhaps would have expected something a bit more vampy or eccentric from Katy Perry, but this is actually quite light, girly and sweet. I expect that teenagers are Katy's target audience and I do think this scent would fit that age group perfectly. That said, I am 27 and I'm not embarrassed to wear it and don't feel it's too young for me. In terms of staying power this is actually really good. So many fragrances I apply only to realise they have disappeared half and hour later, but this one seems to last around 7-8 hours, so I'm confident to wear it to work without the need for top ups, which is great, as I can just apply it and then not worry about it. In my opinion, this is more of a daytime perfume than one for nights out. I have always worn it during the day as it's quite light and perfect for work or for going out shopping. For me, I prefer something a bit more sophisticated and slightly deeper (dare I say sexier) for nights out and special evening occasions. ==Price and Availabiliy== As I mentioned, when this first came out it was quite hard to get hold of for a while, but it is now quite widely available and I don't think you should have too many problems sourcing it. Boots, Superdrug and The Perfume Shop all have this on sale. The fragrance is available in four sizes. There is a small 15ml bottle which comes in a round purse spray. The 30ml, 50ml (which I have) and 100ml sizes all come in the cat shaped bottle design. Like all fragrances prices will differ depending on where you shop, but example prices are below. 15ml purse spray - £18.99 Superdrug 30ml - £24.99 Boots 50ml - £29.99 Boots 100ml - £44.99 Boots ==Conclusion== I really like this perfume and would recommend it to people looking for a light fruity/floral perfume suitable for daytime wear. The cat shaped bottle is stunning and the scent itself is lovely too and has good staying power. I would be happy to buy this again when mine runs out and it definitely gets my seal of approval.
I asked for Katy Perry Purr for Christmas 2011. I am a fan of Katy Perry, and I'd heard alot of hype about the perfume that had made it pretty much sell out during 2011. Price: I asked for the perfume for Christmas, and I know the person who bought it me managed to get it from high street retailer Wilkinsons for a bargain £15! The prices online range from around £21 - £25 for the 30ml version. I think its a great price for a celebrity named perfume. Packaging: The initial packaging is a silver box with Katy Perry written in purple - almost an understated box. The bottle inside is far more impressive. The cat with the necklace is incredibly cute, and I would say it would appeal to teenagers starting to experiment with perfume right upto women in their late twenties or thirties. The perfume looks FANTASTIC on a dressing table and adds to the "want" appeal of the product. The perfume atomiser is hidden under the head which pops off. The Smell: Purr is almost fruity, but also to my nose has musky undertones. The smell when the perfume is applied is fab, a great daytime scent. However, I do not find this perfume has staying power at all. After a couple of hours I struggle to smell this perfume at all. Maybe the perfume just doesn't last long on my skin type personally. Perhaps its a case of style over substance, but it is definately one of the better celebrity perfumes.
I love this bottle! Katy Perry loves cats and it shows! This perfume comes in a stunning cat shaped bottle complete with collar and charm! The best thing about this perfume, apart from the bottle, is that it's very feminine and soft. It's not too strong, so it can be used as a casual daytime scent. The scent has okay staying power. I wouldn't say that it has brilliant staying power as it has to be topped up quite often. I wouldn't describe the scent as weak, it's just not as good "staying power wise" as some of the other scents in my collection. The scent is a fruity floral scent that is suited to the younger generation. It is quite a youthful and girly scent, which suits Katy as she is rather immature (not necessarily in a bad way though). The scent starts off as quite fresh and floral. It settles well on the skin and adapts itself well. After two hours or so it dies down and starts to smell quite musky, almost like an expensive scent. I have had a number of compliments whilst wearing this scent. It does smell more expensive than it is. Not quite designer, but not budget either. It lies somewhere in between. A nice scent. Good value and smells more expensive than it is. Also, it's a versatile scent and suits both day and night wear.
I was looking for a small bottle of perfume to fit in my handbag, so when I saw a 15ml bottle of this perfume for ten pounds in Zest, I decided to try it. Packaging and Apperance Katy Perry Purr eau de parfum comes in a box with a picture of Katy on the front in a leather catsuit. On the front of the box is the picture and the name of the product and on the back is an ingredients list. The bottle is purple in colour and shaped like a cat, with little diamond eyes and a charm around its neck. However if, like me, you got the 15ml version, the perfume comes in a small purple cylinder-shaped bottle with the Katy Perry logo on the front and a small sliver box with the logo on the front and the ingredients list on the back. Contents The notes in this perfume are: TOP NOTES - Peach Nectar, Green Bamboo, Forbidden Apple, Gardenia HEART NOTES - Vanilla Orchid, White Amber, Creamy Sandalwood, Skin Musk BASE NOTES - Jasmine Blossom, Pink Freesia, Bulgarian Rose When I first sprayed the perfume the scent was very fresh and floral, and a little sweet too, but not sickly. The scent then became softer and sweeter as the day went on. This perfume lasts about six hours on my skin, but I can always re-spray on the go, seeing as I got the 15ml bottle. This perfume has a very young feel, soI imagine that it is aimed at teens and young women - I can't imagine a women in her forties and fifties picking this up! Value A 15ml bottle of this is seventeen pounds, a 30ml bottle is twenty three pounds, a 50ml bottle is thirty pounds and a 100ml bottle is forty five pounds from Boots. This is quite pricey for a celeb perfume, however this perfume only came out last year so it's quite recent, and you can get this perfume discouted from places like eBay, Amazon and cheapsmells.com
I think celebrities bringing out there own perfume brands are really cheese especially as it seems to be when they are no longer popular and looking washed out. I personally would avoid ever buying or owning a celeb perfume however it was my little sisters birthday last month and she received the katy perry purr perfume within a few days she passed it on to me claiming it was horrid. Katy perry purr perfume costs £15 for a 15ml bottle, £30 for 50ml and £45 for the 100ml. The perfume can be bought from boots, superdrug, debenhams and the perfume shop. The bottle i got landed with it the 50ml bottle. I love the bottle is clean glass and shaped like a cat, the cats head being the lid of the bottle but the actual colour of the perfume is a deep purple colour and this shines out the bottle making the perfume bottle look like a pretty ornament. The branding of the bottle is clear with katy perry written in silver near the bottom front of the bottle and a cute metal heart tag attached to the spray nozzle with purrr engraved on it. Katy perry purr has a lovely sweet fruity scent to it. I can distinctively smell peach , orange and apple off the scent. When sprayed at first the fruit smell is strong but dies down quickly and left with a musky smell. I don't normally like musky smells however the fruity peach scent still lingers over the musk. The perfume also has green bamboo , jasmine, roses, sandalwood and vanilla one of my favourites but can smell it anywhere in this perfume. I was also surprised that the scent only lasted around three hours and needed to reapplied that's the shorts time ever for a perfume to fade away. My impressions of the perfume is that its probably more suited to teenagers , i never class myself as old being only 29 however this perfume gives the innocent scent of youth about it and my sister agreed. However much she didn't like the smell i think its quiet nice especially for this time of year so again it is more of a summer scent. I also liked the change as most of my perfumes are floral scents having a fruity one was nice. I will keep a hold of the katy perry purr and try using up the bottle as i hate waste however i don't think id personally go out and buy this perfume for me. I recommend katy perry purr with three stars and would make a nice gift for younger girls teenagers mostly.
Katy Perry consistently delivers and this is no different with this perfume. The new 'Purr' perfume comes in a beautifully fashioned bottle, both the colour and the design are striking and attractive. The fragrance itself is very sweet, so if you're partial to a sweet scent, I recommend this. It's the perfect fragrance for summer and could be used when going to work or on nights out and at weekends. Katy's promises of this product being an extension of herself seem viable as it smells delicious and comes in a cute stylish bottle. I expect that it is aimed at teenagers and 20-somethings due to the sweet smell and the design of the bottle. It would make a great birthday present for someone. The only drawback that I can think of is the fact that the smell seems to fade pretty quickly and you may need to reapply to keep the sweet-smell. However, it is an all round good product and definatley worth the price!!
