Advantages: Great for women who like to smell feminine, suitable for all day wear
Disadvantages: The 100 ml bottle is very tall, makes storage difficult
I have been using Flower by Kenzo for around 5 years now and so I thought I would share my opinion with members and consumers of this website. In order to make this review an easy read, I have split it into sections (I hope this helps!)
About the product:
Flower by Kenzo first came out in 2001. It comes packaged in elegant looking, poppy-embossed bottles. Main scents of this fragrance are violet, vanilla, rose - all in all, a floral, feminine powdery scent available in sizes of 50 ml and 100 ml.
The Price:
50 ml RRP: £42.00
100 ml RRP: £47.00
(therefore not cheap! Although you can probably find it for much cheaper if you look for online deals)
My personal opinion and experiences:
The thing I like best about this product is the fact that it is so feminine, and therefore if you like your feminine scents, you will most probably like Flower. The name of the fragrance is very well suited to describe the way it smells - it really does smell like flowers, and although I am no expert at distinguishing the smell of one flower from another, Flower, to me smells like a lovely, mixed bouquet of flowers! Unlike some perfumes that seem to have the most exotic sounding names, but little relationship to what they smell like, 'Flower' is the only name I can imagine this fragrance having.
I have actually purchased Flower by Kenzo a few times whilst I have been abroad, as I find you can buy it for a really good price in some parts of Asia, for example. I haven't done this for some time however, as if you spend a little time on the internet you will find that you can get some really good discounts, and they will deliver the fragrance to you (usually with a post + packaging charge).
The bottle that Flower comes in does look elegant, but I have one problem with the size of the larger bottle, or should I say, more specifically, with the length of it. You will see from the picture of the product that the bottle is tall and slender. Looks great right? I agree. But the 100 ml bottle is really tall...just short of 30cm! This makes storing the bottle a problem for me, as my shelves and cupboards tend to be a little shorter than that. In addition, I am always worried about the bottle falling over and breaking because it is so tall!
Flower by Kenzo is available in all good department stores, and you can also buy it online, or in the duty-free at airports.
Summary: One of my fave's
