Kenzo: Summer by Kenzo, Eau de Toilette

This perfume is a strange yet utterly distinctive offering from Kenzo. Forget the regular top/base notes jargon. This perfume can be summed up in one word-BUTTERCUPS. If you've smelt buttercups on a sunny summer's day, this is that scent captured in a bottle. I have rarely worn a perfume (apart from the ones that are flower extracts like the l'Occitaine range) that is so singleminded. Yet the experience is pleasant enough, and is excellent for the days when you just want to spend a warm evening out on the lawn with a glass of white wine spritzer in hand.
