This perfume is by American Celebrity Kim Kardashian.
Top notes: African Orange Flower, Mandarin Orange & Honeysuckle
Middle notes: Jasmine, Gardenia, Tuberose & Spices
Base notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Tonka, Orchid and Woodsy notes
To begin with the perfume does come across as being quite strong. Don't fear however as it soon 'fades' slightly within a couple of minutes. I find that a couple of squirts is plenty and it will last all evening. I can still smell it when I return from a night out - so I can definitely say that this perfume has staying power.
The perfume has a floral scent which is quite sweet and very pleasant. Once the 'floral' part of the perfume has 'calmed down', the musky part of the scent comes out. You are then left with a slightly floral and subtle musky scent which is very nice.
This perfume is very sassy and sophisticated. When I wear it, it makes me feel really classy and feminine. It definitely gives me confidence which is good. There is definitely something quite 'sexy' about this perfume. It's nice and light which means that it is great for summer as it is not too heavy. It's also a nice 'likeable' scent which isn't 'in your face' and so shouldn't get on people's nerves. I would also say that this scent is suitable for women of all ages which is good.
All in all, I do like this perfume and would recommend it.

Kim Kardashian perfume
I am very enthusiastic about my freebies and samples and am forever filling in forms to get freebies. It is so exciting when I get them in the mail and I do get to try so many things that I otherwise would never have heard of or tried so it does the job for the company too as often I am then tempted to go out and buy the full sized product after trying it.
This was one of my many perfume samples that I received through the mail. I had never heard of the Kardashian as we never watch reality TV programmes and so I approached this with a very open mind. I have since been made aware of this rather odd money grabbing family as we had to suffer a couple of their TV shows while we were in the USA as my son's girlfriend loved to hate them and so insisted on us watching so she could enlighten us as to who they were.
So many of these famous for being famous people like Jade Goody and so many others are jumping on the bandwagon like the young pop stars and feel they should also add their name to perfumes and create their own 'brand' and they are usually pleasant but often pretty forgettable in my view.
My sample came in a cardboard folded 'book' with a small 1.5ml spray bottle of the perfume inside so it was enough for a two or three good uses. I love these little sample bottles as they are perfect for when we travel as I can put a few in my suitcase and a couple in my bag (the airport security doesn't seem to pick them up) and it means I get to smell nice and once the little sample is finished I throw away the bottle and as we come home I have none left so makes my suitcase so much lighter. I also leave my books that I have read too and those really do make a difference to the weight.
WHO IS KIM KARDASHIAN?
Well she is a model and sometime actress and member of one of those 'we are rich so we must be famous' families who have a programme about them like Ozzy Osborne and his family did. They are famous for being famous really and nothing more of any real note.
This is quite understated, simple round and flat like a disc in black with the initials KK one facing the wrong way so the symbol is symmetrical in pinkcentral to the bottle. The lid is a large chunky black rectangular block and under this is a metallic ring with Kim inscribed on it.
Needless to say Kim Kardashian was not actually the creator the perfume the actual scent was created by Perfumer Claude Dir.
I am so pleased that I rose above my prejudices and tried this Kim Kardashianfragrance as it is a lot nicer than I would have anticipated given the person behind the brand. It is light, sweet and floral without being heavy and cloying as some floral can be. I was actually quite tempted to buy this one as a full sized bottle as I liked it so much but so far I have resisted as I do have so many perfumes in my collection already.
Tops notes: African orange flower, mandarin orange, honeysuckle
Middle notes: jasmine, gardenia, tuberose and spices
Base notes: musk, sandalwood, tonka, orchid and woodsy notes
When I first spray this on it is pretty strong and initially quite sweetly floral to me but then the orange mandarin notes are also quite floral despite being fruity. It is not heavy initially and quite refreshing and sweet light and very girly, not in any way unisex to me. As it develops it takes on a still sweet but more warm and sexy with jasmine which I love and the tuberose which is another of my favourites combining with the heady gardenia. In fact the middle florals are all my favourites so it is not surprising that I am attracted to this one.
After about half an hour the scent still retains its beautiful floral notes but it has become warmer and creamier with the beautiful tonka and sandalwood also two more of my favourites and the woody notes of jacaranda wood and then the musky aroma all make this a very senuous perfume that is lighter and more floral than many sensual fragrances.
To me the most obvious notes in this are the gardenia which is such a heady floral and the tuberose and jasmine and the floral do dominate this one in a beautiful feminine way. This is an unapologetic floral perfume that is heady and sweet but far superior to the poppy sort of celebrity cheap scents that are around. This perfume is lovely provided you like floral perfumesI It is not even pretending to be anything beyond this it isn't oriental or heavily vanilla and though it does dry down to a bit more woody and creamy it is not heavily woody and masculine in any way. This has a great blend of tuberose and other florals with the dry down of sweet musk and finishes with my gorgeous base favourite of sandalwood sweetened by the lovely florals.
REMEMBER PERFUME CAN BE CHANGED
I have a huge collection of perfumes and love wearing different ones. I like all kinds depending on my mood, the situation, the weather and who I am with. Remember that you might find you enjoy a more intense fragrance for winter as the cold will inhibit the scent rather and this is also the same when your skin is drier so applying a fragrance free moisturiser might make the scent lat longer
Don't forget that your perfume will also mix with your deodorant, handcream, shampoo and even your fabric softener. So if you find a perfume you previously liked suddenly starts smelling different, it could be mixing with another scent you're using. You can of course layer your scents if you know those which work together well so experiment and see what works for you.
Give this a try and don't be put off by your feelings for the celebrity behind the perfume. If you like floral scents then this is worth a try. I never buy a perfume that I have not tried and worn for at least one full day as they do change during the day. You can also like one to start and hate the dry down or hate the initial hit and love it after it settles so give any new perfume a fair go. The golden rule of choosing scent is let your instincts be the guide to what you really need. The smell that you're drawn to, the sample bottle you keep coming back to, is probably exactly right for your personality.

Being a bit of a beauty product addict, I always like to try out new things and vary the brands that I use. I'm a member of the website www.latestinbeauty.com which is designed to provide members with a selection of product samples that you can choose from and order on a monthly basis. In my most recent Latest In Beauty sample box I had opted to receive a sample of this self-named perfume by Kim Kardashian. Ok, so I must declare that I'm no Kardashian fan, I don't understand their appeal or the hype surrounding their televised lives. I only chose this particular perfume as I needed one last thing to complete my order and the sample was twice the size of the others on offer so I figured I may as well make the most of it. After a quick look online it seems to be priced quite cheaply, with prices around £13 for a 30ml bottle, £19 for a 50ml bottle, and £23 for a 100ml bottle.
Product description: "Voluptuous and evocative, Kim Kardashian's debut fragrance reveals the many facets of the star's personality. The blend is inspired by some of the favourite scents of Kim's many fans, which were taken into account in the creation of the elegant juice. The result is a fragrance that is the epitome of femininity, a creamy floral that adheres to the body like a sensual second skin.
Top Notes: Mandarin, Honeysuckle, Orange Blossom
Heart Notes: Pink Jasmine, Tuberose, Gardenia
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Jacaranda Wood, Vanilla Orchid, Sandalwood."
The full size perfume comes in a circular bottle made of smoky coloured glass and embellished with a double "K" design to represent Kim Kardashian's initials. I quite like this design as my own name starts with a "K", and having quite an unusual name the best I can ever hope for in terms of personalised items is something with my initial on, so this is a nice touch for me and I think the simple design looks nice in a retro sort of way. Having said that, the bottle does feel a bit cheap and plasticy to the touch and is not up to the same standards as some of the more luxurious perfumes that I own. I originally received 2 little 1.5ml sample vials with spray dispensers, which came in a neat little cardboard slip case. This is a nice size to trial a perfume over several occasions before deciding if it suits you and then making a purchase of the full size. I took the sample bottles with me to use on a weekend away as the size was convenient to slip into my wash bag without weighing it down like a full sized bottle of perfume would, and I hate to travel with glass bottles just in case they get damaged.
I like my perfume to be noticeable and from the initial application this one is particularly bold. Mainly woody with a rich floral edge, it radiates well and starts to round off to smooth creamy scent. It is very appealing and enticing, and I think it has quite a sophisticated grown up feel to it. Despite wearing this perfume frequently I have never been able to pick out any specific individual notes, but instead find that it blends together to give a nice overall effect, which gradually softens and develops to reveal more of the base notes. I would not have classed this as a floral scent based on my own experience, but looking at the actual description it contains a lot of floral elements which I just could not recognise when actually wearing this perfume. Maybe it is the way that it settles on my skin, but I would say that the base notes are the most prominent and are present during the entire duration of wearing this perfume. To me, I would say this smells more like dessicated coconut rather than anything listed in the description, however I do agree that the luxurious woody base notes are rounded off nicely with a hint of sweet vanilla. It comes across as being quite heavy and musky, but not in the normal sense as I cannot stand anything with a pure musky fragrance to it, but this does give the perfume a lot of power and the scent is one that will stand out and be noticed. The combination of scents works well to give a nice natural sort of result and it does not have any harsh chemical undertone to it which can be common with cheaper perfumes.
I think this is quite a classy perfume and have been nothing but impressed by it. I think it would be better suited to women past their teenage years, despite the appeal that it might have for girls that watch the Kardashian TV shows. The perfume has good longevity and will last all day, although it does fade down to a more subtle warm glow rather than the full on exotic mist that it first creates. I must say that I am really surprised at how nice this perfume is. I tend to think of Kim Kardashian as being a bit tacky at best, although I cannot deny that she always looks exceptionally well groomed. I'm glad that I got to try a sample of this first as there's nothing that would have encouraged me to buy a full bottle had I just seen it in a shop. This is a great discovery for me, and I think it is a really lovely perfume that is nice for something different to my usual tastes as it's that bit more seductive and has very bold base notes. It is available at a bargain price and before I'd even used up my sample bottles I'd already gone and purchased a full 100mls bottle from Amazon for just £21.95 which I think is exceptionally cheap for an Eau de Parfum fragrance. I would definitely recommend this perfume as it has surpassed my expectations and is a genuinely nice perfume in its own right, regardless of the celebrity name on the label.
I received some Kim Kardashian perfume at Christmas and I love it. For those of you who aren't familiar with the name of Kim Kardashian, she is a socialite from LA whose father was the lawyer for OJ Simpson back in the 90's. Kim and the rest of her family have since found fame through a reality show called Keeping up with the Kardashians. I am a massive fan of the Kardashian reality shows, yep, all of them as they have had a lot of spin off shows, so I thought it was a great present when I received the perfume.
The bottle is packaged in a dark purple square box which is quite a sophisticated colour. The box was very sturdy so supported the perfume well and kept it steady during transportation. I think the bottle is very elegant and sophisticated and a lovely colour. It is the same dark purple as the box so they match each other well. The bottle is a flat ish upright standing circle with a neat square top sat on top of the circle. It also has two K's intertwined on the front for Kim's initials. The lid comes on and off easily and the actual bit where you squirt the perfume out of presses down with ease and sprays very sensibly in front of you. There are no dribbles on the bottle when you spray it.
The actual perfume is a really nice fragrance. It is more unusual than other perfumes and is not too sweet or too floral or too anything. If I was going to liken it to anything I would say roses but they would have to be expensive roses as the word that springs to mind when I smell it is money! It smells of extravagance! I'm not sure how that smells but this smells of it! I think it has a great balance of aromas and works really well. When I wear it people comment on it being nice and I think it lasts quite well as people can still smell it at night time when I put it on in the morning.
As I said, this was given to me as a present but you can buy this from Amazon and at the moment it is on sale at £20.58 for 100ml which is a real bargain. I'm really happy with it in general and will probably buy more when it runs out! I would definitely recommend it.
I must be the only Kardashian fan on dooyoo! I love the reality tv Keeping Up With The Kardashians and when i found out that kim had a perfume out i had to buy it. Its a difficult perfume to find in the uk, i went around the high street perfume outlets and none of them sell it.
I thought i would have better luck online but i was wrong but after a few hours of searching i found the perfume on fragrance direct and it cost £35 for 100ml bottle, yes its a big bottle and will last a while but for a celebrity perfume it a bit over priced.
The perfume is named Kim Kardashian, It comes in a lovely art deco style glass bottle, It looks very elegant and is a shade of chocolate brown. The lid is a very nice too and is jewel shaped. I have only seen the bottle in 100mls which is disappointing as i bought mine online without trying it!
I was very lucky as i do like the smell of the perfume. It is a very elegant evening perfume as it is a bit strong for wearing during the day, It has a exotic scent, smells spicy with exotic flowers. This perfume is lovely and it smells better than i was expecting and would give top end designer perfumes a run for their money. I have had lots of compliments when wearing this perfume.
I have only a few niggles with the perfume and as i could only find it in 100mls it isnt very handy for carrying in my handbag and my other niggle is the price
Overall i love the perfume, the bottle is cute and classy and smells amazing, i will be buying this for my sister for her christmas as she loves Kim Kardashian.
I can't stand Kim Kardashian (or any of the Kardashian's actually), there's nothing bitchy about it but I cannot see why she is so famous. It's a good job for Ms. Kardashian that big fat arses are so fashionable these days, because otherwise I don't think she'd be picked to create a £35 perfume. Yep, 35 quid for a perfume designed by someone who has no talent but is lauded over for dressing like a hooker. And acting like one.
So I don't think you'll be surprised when I say I didn't actually buy this perfume, mine is a small tester size containing around 10ml of perfume. 10ml is about 9ml too much though as I really don't like the smell at all, and can't see what the high price tag is all about.
It's a very strong smelling perfume, think Poison with that heady aroma which seems to cling to you like a cloud for hours. The first spray of this gives you an intensely musky, woody fragrance which lingers for a long time. Once the musk starts wearing off the perfume takes on a more oriental fragrance, and it's all downhill from there! The spicy smell has an awful Hai Karate fragrance to it, my dad used to wear this and the Kim Kardashian perfume reminds me of him!
It has an extremely masculine fragrance, the only way I can describe it is I think maybe Kim has taken equal measures of Hai Karate and Old Spice and mixed them together. With a touch of cheaply sourced sandalwood and some synthetic jasmine. It's such a dated smell that I started wondering if the perfume was modelled on the power-scents of the 80s, but when I looked it up all I could find was some guff by Kim Kardashian about modern, sexy and independent women. And yadda, yadda, yadda.
The perfume fades in intensity quite quickly (thank god) but the actual fragrance lasts forever. Why is it just my luck that a perfume I loathe should linger around me all day, but another which I adore should fade to nothing within an hour. S'not fair. I'd say I got a good 8 hours wear out of this perfume, which is actually excellent news if you like the smell of it.
The bottle is nothing to shout about either, you can see it for yourself above so I won't go into a long winded description of it. I think Kim Kardashian has gone for the bold and understated look, and ended up with a dull and not particularly effective design.

I am in no way or manner a fan of Kim Kardashian, in fact I find her to be rather irritating, but when I received this perfume as a gift, I still decided to give it a go, hoping that the perfume would hold a greater depth to it than its maker... Sadly, this is one of the more sickening and not at all nice smelling perfumes I have tried lately, and I therefore wouldn`t even recommend it as a way of making your garbage bin smell nicer... Harsh words, but I mean them!
I always look for the several layers of scents in a perfume, eager to unlock and discover new fragrances and smells that come with time or by eager sniffing away, but when smelling on this perfume, I couldn`t notice any smell but one or two, which to me is very poor, and honestly, quite dull and disappointing... I clearly noticed the smell of flowers and lemon, and all though this normally is a combination that have potential, in this case it felt very intense and somewhat sickening, and I didn`t enjoy walking around with this scent on my skin, so perhaps luckily, I found the lasting power to be lousy as well... Three to four hours before needing new appliance, that is just too poor! It kind of provokes me that just because this woman is a celibrity, for reasons I will never understand, she will probably sell loads of this perfume, which quite frankly doesn`t smell nice at all, and the bottle, the bottle has a very heavy and masculine design, so what`s that about? This is a perfume that looks expensive and exclusive, but it ends up smelling cheap and intense, and I wouldn`t at all recommend it, unless you`re a die hard fan of this Kardashian!
The cost of this perfume vary a bit, but you can find it costing somewhere between 33- 45 pounds for a 100 ml. bottle, which is a fair price, but fails utterly seeing as the product itself is so lousy! So, one out of five stars, I would give it none if I could!
[I'll start by saying that I don't have anything against Kim Kardashian herself. If you don't like this fragrance why are you instantly labelled as a bitchy, jealous 'hater' on some sites?]

I'll admit that I was excited to try it as Kim is famous world-wide for her beauty and style... Surely this self-named fragrance would capture some of that essence?
In one word: No to the beauty and style, but it does scream "look at me", does that count?
If you don't like white florals in your perfumes you can give KIM KARDASHIAN a miss; It is basically a floral jumble and the only individual notes that stand out are the gardenia and tuberose, and that is it. The florals are so powerful that they instantly slap me in the face and hide almost everything else.
The fragrance is one dimensional and boring, with very little difference between the top, heart and base; There was a short lived burst of lemon in the opening, then the jumble becomes heavier and sweeter and then the musk used in the base develops and joins in the mess [I'm not a fan of musk so I could do without it].
Sorry, but there really isn't anything else useful to say for this perfume; It seems to be just because I'm migraine-prone, because several other friends who have tried it love it and say that they have no problem detecting the fruits and spices. But we all agree; Several other fragrances sprang to mind when we wear this, so it doesn't have the factor of having any originality going for it.

The only thing I like about this perfume is the bottle that it comes in. The rounded, heavy, dark glass bottle is beautiful in it's simplicity.

Other buying considerations

For a 'celebrity' perfume this is quite expensive (that may be due to it being exclusive to one store). But the lasting power reflects the price; Every time I've worn this it has lasted for over six hours.
It wears well because it is a strong, statement perfume. I've only worn it on weekends and I don't think it 'fits' in with dressing down, shopping, cinemas and relaxing. Nor would I wear it to work - I don't think that my colleagues would appreciate me wearing something so 'in your face' with a migraine-inducing strength to it. This is something that I'd class as a red carpet scent; It's only something I'd wear when I wanted all eyes on me [I suppose that it does represent Kim K in that respect].
The fruit is almost non-existent and I can't detect any of the spice notes, so there's nothing to point to warm or cold weather wear. The only time I'd say that this wouldn't be a good idea is on very hot days; It'd be too heavy and give you a headache.

Is it worth buying?

Sorry to the Kim K lovers out there but I think that this is a huge fail...
I assume they were going for old Hollywood glamour with the big white floral notes, but they went way too far with them - I personally can't see anything glamorous, sexy or feminine about this fragrance, it seems screamingly, in-your-face loud, so - dare I say it? - it comes off as rather cheap and tacky.
This is the first perfume I've tried in a while that I've wanted to wash off. Unfortunately the staying power is good as the floral jumble is headache-inducing strong. I want to be a bit positive, so I'll repeat that the bottle is striking and the lasting power is very good.
I'm sure that there are loads of people that can pull of the big floral notes in this perfume; But on me it's just a total miss-match.

[Exclusive to Debenhams]
Kim Kardashian (model, actress) presented a perfume named after her in 2009 and it arrived in style in an extravagant flacon. Kim Kardashian is a fragrance constructed of luminous, sweet opening notes, intoxicating, floral middle notes and sensual, sexy aromas in the base. The opening includes refreshing notes of mandarin surrounded with floral-lemon honeysuckle and orange blossom, while the heart blooms with pink jasmine, tuberose, gardenia and spices. The base is created of warm, gentle Tonka, jacaranda wood, vanilla orchid, sexy musk and creamy sandalwood.
