      Give it a go!

My mum give me this perfume because I smelt it and fell in love! So I kept moaning for her to give it to me because I was going away to Dublin and had no perfume!
She gave in and I was a happy bunny :)

I had the 30ml bottle and my mum also gave me the body lotion she got with this as she doesn't use it.
I think the only sizes you can get are 30ml and 50ml.
The bottle is gorgeously made, it's a very nice soft pink with the words 'Pink Sparkle' engraved onto it, also has a very nice gold lid and the colours go together very nicely.

Because my mum give me this I didn't have a chance to see the box it came in but after looking up online the gift set my mum got I can tell you that it is very pretty, lovely pink see through box wrapped in ribbons.

To use the perfume, simple take of the golden lid and spray.
I love the smell of this fragrance, it smells very floral and sweet, it has a very light smell about it too if you know what I mean, I think it's great for casually wearing during the day.
I think for night I would prefer something a bit more sensual.

The staying power of this perfume is around 2-3 hours which isn't great, especially with only 30ml of fragrance.
And ofcourse if you are like myself and like to spray spray spray and keep smelling nice, it probably won't last long, I managed to use over half of this in 6 days.
If you use the body lotion before you spray this perfume though you do get a stronger smell and the perfume last maybe a hour or two longer which is good, I still have the body lotion, it last me ages!

The smell of this perfume doesn't go musky or anything after the smell fades, it just fades..and smells of nothing!

I don't know exactly what notes are in this so I got this information of The Perfume Shopwebsite incase you are interested.

      Heart notes
      Champagne Accord, Gardenia, Arabian Jasmine

      Top notes
White Peach, Pink Grapefruit, Lily of the Valley

      Base notes
      Musk, Vetiver Bourbon, Bourbon Vanilla

      --------------------------------------------------------------------

I wouldn't say this is my favourite fragrance but it does smell gorgeous on and I would recommend it for anybody who would like a floral, playful fragrance for casual days.

        .

I got this Perfume for my birthday last year. I probably got it because my family know that I love Perfumes, and although they didn't know it, but I hadn't tried it before then. I have tried all the Kylie Perfumes and they are all nice enough - nothing that special or fancy, but nice anyway.

I got this in a 30ml bottle. After looking online i've only seen this in a 30ml bottle on most websites. This is selling for around £13 with a recommended retail price of around £17.

The box and bottle for this looks nice enough. The box is a light pink colour probably in keeping with the Pink name. The bottle looks like the Dooyoo picture. I think this looks a bit old looking, so I think it could look a bit younger and fresher. The gold lid and neck part look a bit cheap and cheesy, but the shape of the bottle is nice. The bottle is a round shape and quite wide but due to the size of the 30ml bottle then it isn't that tall a bottle.

It is easy to describe what this smells like. I would say this smells like Pink Champagne but without the Alcohol scent. It just seems to be a mix of Pink Flowers, perhaps a dash of Red Berries and a Sparkling Fizz mixed through. It is a simple and sweet smelling Perfume, and although quite simple, it is nice for what it is.

This settles down after the usual 20 minutes and the slight chemical scent goes away. It settles down to a fresh and fruity smell with a slight light after scent that lingers alright. I wouldn't say this lasts that long, and I would have expected this to last just that little bit longer. I reapplied this around lunchtime as I always do but I felt that I needed this to be sprayed as I could hardly smell it anymore.

A nice smell, not my favourite by any means and never will be as there is so many other nice Perfumes out there, but it is a nice Perfume if you like sweet Perfumes. I would say this is more a younger Perfume but could do for any age.

A surprisingly nice fragrance from Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue's latest offering in regard to perfume, Pink Sparkle is he 7th fragrance, and while the name is pretty lame to say the least, the perfume is suprisingly pretty nice. This retails at around £18.99 for a 30ml bottle of eau de toilette and can be found at many department stores chemists and is available online.

Apparently Kylie wanted this fragrance to be a reminder of inner 'pop, fizz, sparkle and effervescence'. And while this byline may be a little too saccharine sweet for some, it is a very light, floral and sexy scent.

I love the bottle on this, it is not too obvious or garish, it is a lovely rounded clear bottle through which you can see the delicately coloured pale pink perfume. The logo is embossed into the glass, and the lid is a tall gold coloured metal. Very pretty and classy looking.

Pink Sparkle opens with top notes of red grapefruit, lily of the valley and white peach and is very 'fizzy' which is exactly how Kylie describes it. I love the grapefruit which gives the fizz mixed with the lily of the valley, they balance each other out so that the scent is neither overly floral or overly fruity, just right in my opinion.

The top notes gently give way to the heart notes of champagne, gardenia and my perennial favourite, jasmine. At this point the fragrance really develops true character, and is not just another sweet, fruity celebrity scent.

The base notes contained in Pink Sparkle are bourbon vetiver, bourbon vanilla, which I don't think I have ever tried before. The vanilla is warm without being over powering and the vetiver is not overly green, it too has a earthy warmth. It also contains a nice light musk just giving this a nice warm sensual aroma.

I think that this is quite a grown up scent, even though I do think that Pink Sparkle is quite a childish name. Don't let that put you off trying this, I do think it would appeal to women of most ages, be it late early twenties onwards. I think teens would give this a miss.

Pink Sparkle does seem to last quite well for an eau de toilette, I sprayed this on my wrist about 3 hours ago and it is still going strong.

I feel that this is a great perfume for day or evening, as it is not too intense, nor is it too light. It is a perfume just perfect for all occassions.

Would I recommend this fragrance? I would have to say yes. I find it quite different from other celebrity offerings, it is neither too sweet nor too green. I find that it is just a nice light floral fruity fragrance perfect for day, evening, infact anytime you want to feel that 'fizz'! Give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised.

        Note:

Pink Sparkle is not for everyone, and I would urge you to give it a try before you buy.

        Thank you

Move along, there's nothing to see here folks...

          The fragrance
          - - - - - - - - -

When I heard the name PINK SPARKLE I envisioned Hello Kitty, pink hair bands and glitter nail polish; It's certainly not a name that I'd chose for a fragrance. But there is some good news - Coty haven't gone down the 'sweet shop' road again to tempt Kylie's younger fans into parting with their money. PINK SPARKLE is inspired by and named after pink champagne.

On first application the fragrance is slightly sweet thanks to the peach, but the tart grapefruit note livens it up and keeps the sweetness to a minimum.

The grapefruit carries down into the heart, whilst the peach note fades fairly quickly. The floral notes are a let down as they never seem to develop. The gardenia is the only one I can separate - but that is due to the 'champagne' accord. The grape mingles with the lingering grapefruit and smothers the florals, it does give a bit of energy and a sense of bubbles, but it's not wildly different from the top notes.

The vanilla infused musk base isn't too sweet thanks to the sharp vetiver. The vetiver accord is most likely synthetic, since the Kylie fragrances are cheaply manufactured. I like the contrast between the feminine vanilla and the masculine vetiver, but the effect is quite short lived.

          The bottle
          - - - - - - - -

I like how the bottle has been designed around the champagne inspiration. The glass is clear to show off the pink juice and it has a cord pattern embossed around it, mimicking vintage champagne bottles.

The cap is a pale gold and shaped like a stopper on a champagne bottle. I think this is the best bottle design that any of the Kylie fragrances have had.

          Other buying considerations
          - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

As this is a Kylie/Coty collaboration it's no surprise that the staying power is poor; It goes close to the skin within half an hour and I struggle to smell anything after an hour.

The fruits and the watered down florals are a pleasant combination for the current, [supposedly] warmer weather, but I personally doubt I'd go for a fragrance with zesty grapefruit on rainy days and colder weather, so I don't see this as being suitable all year round.

PINK SPARKLE is a nice casual fragrance and can also be worn to work. However I think it's too quiet, safe and is unoriginal, so don't think it's 'special' enough for evening wear or for special occasions.

          My opinion
          - - - - - - - - - -

While I don't dislike PINK SPARKLE or think there's anything disagreeable with it, at the end of the day it is just another safe and generic Kylie Minogue EDT, that follows the same old blueprint as her past fragrances: A mild mix of fruit, underdeveloped florals and a musk infused vanilla base. Nice, but nothing new so it's a bit boring.

This would make a good gift choice as it's mild and unoffensive. I also see it as being wearable for women of any age.

I hope her sister's latest fashion label used a different company for their upcoming fragrance line, because I've now given up on Kylie's. And I think Coty are having doubts too; I've looked in stores and briefly checked online for a 75ml bottle, but can't find one so it looks as though they've not produced one. And many stores have now stopped selling her past fragrances now. Not a good sign; They'd better up their game if they plan on this venture lasting much longer...

There are also 200ml tubes of shower gel and body lotion available.

Coty claim that every release has had a 15ml EDT bottle and a 75ml deodorant spray, as well as a 30ml EDP variant. I've come across a 15ml EDT and deodorant for Darling and the EDP release for Showtime, but have never seen any of these versions for any of her other releases.
