Why waste the night sleeping!

! have just discovered this delightful new addition to the La Prairie range of perfumes and love it as much as I love Silver Rain.

It is available in the same type bottle as its sister scent Silver Rain - the iconic raindrop shaped metal bottle - Midnight Rain's bottle is rougher in texture than Silver Rain and the black and silver colour is obviously to depict night time. The bottle feels slightly more robust but still feels beautifully shaped in your hand.

The "sharp end" of the raindrop is the top, which has to be removed to reveal the atomizer. Press the top and the beautiful sensual perfume is dispensed. The raindrop shaped bottle has a slightly flattened bottom so it can stand upright.

This sexy bottle and its contents are apparently designed to appeal to both sexes! However I would have said it is a perfume for the girls - preferably to be bought for them by the guys!

This deliciously floral perfume is built around sensual woods, juicy watery top notes and natural, rich, yet young florals creating a sensation of pleasure, comfort and richness reminiscent of the tropics or the Mediterranean.

Again as with Silver Rain this perfume lingers for ages on your skin, it will certainly last the entire evening and into the night!

If you like Silver Rain I am sure you will like Midnight Rain, which I think is a little more sophisticated and sexy - ideal for evening wear.

As with Silver Rain I have only found it on sale in Harvey Nicks and at the airport.
