This is the most recent limited edition to Lacoste's touch of pink (which I love, see review) and as such does not disappoint.
Looks: the frangrance comes in a bright pink and silver box, similar to those used for the other touch of pink editions. The bottle itself is long and thin and made of glass, lighish pink near the bottom fading to transparent nearer the top, which is silver. The lid is a clear plastic. Overall this gives quite a nice impression, although again I have to say it is not the prettiest bottle I have ever seen.
Scent: it's a great everyday kind of scent, very fruity and fun, vibrant, and youthful. It is a nice feminine scent, and a blend of red berries, iced tea and rose with the subtle notes of sandalwood, lotus flower and musk.
Price: slightly less expensive than touch of pink, the 90ml bottle is available for around £30. As far as I have found (please let me know if anyone finds it, I want one!) it doesn't come in the handy 15ml size nor as the 30ml version. It does exist as a 50ml bottle.
Overall: would make a great gift for an active-type girl, for day-to-day wear. Personally I love it, and use it often instead of my favourite Touch of Pink.
So this is what pink smells like? I was bought Lacoste Dream of Pink for my birthday last year, and do find it rather quite nice, a scent that is perfect for summer. This fragrance is available from most chemists and department stores and retails at approximately £19.99 for a 50ml bottle of eau de toilette.
The bottle is very girly, the glass is tinged pink, and has the Lacoste logo running down the bottle. The box is quite nice too, I do like to keep the box to stop sunlight from getting to the fragrance and damaging the scent.
Dream of Pink belongs to the fruity floral category of perfumes, and when you first spritz this, it opens with a delicious burst of berry fruits, very fresh and a little different. The berry scent makes this a very sweet smelling perfume, however, it is toned down slightly with the addition of lotus flower. The berry notes are quite short lived, as the delicate rose scent begins to develop quite quickly, but again, doesn't last. Once this has fully dried down, there is a slight hint of a soft musk but not much else. This is a very very light scent, good for daytime, not so powerful that it would be suitable for evenings.
I must say that this fragrance doesn't last very long on the skin, for me I need to reapply it after a few hours at the most. I was quite disappointed with the lack of complexity to this perfume, I did expect something a little more intriguing, but what I did get was something young at heart, fresh and a little sporty.
If you like a fresh, fruity and floral fragrance then I think this could be ideal, however if like me, you like something with a little bit more character, staying power and individuality then I think you should probably pass on this one.
I don't think I would buy it again, that's not to say I don't like it, because I do, it's just not the right fragrance for me. It does have some great notes in their, but I needed a little something 'extra' to get me to buy it again.
Dream of Pink is a female fragrance from Lacoste. I discovered it whilst trying to find a light feminine fragrance to wear everyday. I would certainly describe it as a day fragrance, I think most women prefer a more sophisticated fragrance at night.
I have an Eau de Toilette in a 50ml size. It cost £18 in Boots promotion at Christmas, I have just checked one of the Perfume websites and it seems to retail at about £26 now. This seems on a par with other mid-fragrance lines. It was presented in an attractive pink and silver box with the Lacoste logo. The packaging looks very similar to the Touch of Pink range and it is easy to get them confused. The bottle is tall and elegant with a fine spray nozzle which is protected by a clear, solid perspex lid (more attractive than it sounds!). It is pale pink glass at the top which get gradually darker down the bottle. It is heavy at the bottom which means that it does not get knocked over easily, it is a very stable design.
The fragrance is quite light and fresh. I would describe it as mainly floral but it is not too sweet and has a slight musky undertone which is nice. I do not feel that the fragrance lasts a long time but it is hard to tell on yourself so I asked some colleagues at work (we are all good friends!) and they said it was still evident mildly in the afternoon. I am not a person who remembers to take perfume to work so that was pleasing.
This is a feminine fragrance presented in a modern attractive bottle. I believe it was originally marketed as a "special edition" but now seems widely available.
I like quite a lot of the Lacoste fragrances, both feminine and masculine, and this one is no different, it has the wow factor as soon as you take off the lid and smell this fantastic perfume! It's available in 30ml bottles that cost £19.99 and a 90ml for £35 from superdrug. These prices aren't bad considering that the perfume is a good, well known brand and smells exquisite. I do think though that Lacoste have over done the whole pink theme, touch of pink, love of pink, dream of pink, surely they can come up with some new names ad designs other than pink names, bottles and boxes.
I spray myself with this every morning, usually one or two sprays on my neck and that lasts till about dinner time. I often recieve compliments when I have it on, people asking what I use.
Its a modern fragrance that appeals to both the young and the older lady im 39 and i love it and my daughter is 15 she loves it too. It's a really nice perfume that is modern, well designed and smells lovely.
I would recommend it to other to buyers and I will continue to buy this product in the future, its stylish and a good brand that smells fantastic!
lacoste dream of pink is the lastest instalment to the lacoste fragrances. For 90ml it can be purchased from as cheap as £24.95.I knew from the first spray in boots i wanted it , a beautiful aroma of floral scents and the fruity smell of berries hit me, and the floral scents arent overpowering so the fragrance still remains refreshing and energising. This limeted edition is a realy girly scent and deserves to be part of any perfume collection. From wearing this fragrance i isntantly feel energised and ready for te day ahead. Also its perfect for all occassions so you dont have to be mesiing about swapping fragrances for a special night out i would rate this lacoste fragrance as a 8/10 my advicw to you if you like girlie and energising scents would be to go out and buy it,afterall it is a limited editionand trust me you wouldnt want to miss out on this bargain.
Lacoste Dream of Pink is available in 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body lotion. The 50ml bottle retails at around £38, which is a little pricey, but its totally worth it as the smell is simply delicious!
I was first attracted to this perfume because of the bottle and the packaging (I know, never judge a book by its cover!). The bottle is a really pretty shade of pale pink and has a really nice hour-glass type shape (i.e. dips in the middle).
The lid is really easy to remove and the spray action is a typical standard pump. The fragrance itself is said to be a mixture of sweet red berries, iced tea, lotus flower, rose, sandalwood and musk. It is deliciously fruity and floral, and is definitely one for the girly girls. I have to admit though, I really love the smell, and whenever I have worn it lately, a few people have noticed and asked what perfume I was wearing because they really liked it.
Lacoste is a French apparel company that was founded in 1933. It is famous for sports wear, especially tennis shirts. The famous logo is the green crocodile with Lacoste printed underneath it. There are now hundreds of Lacoste stores worldwide.
Dream of Pink
Dream of Pink is a limited edition perfume that was launched in early 2008 for Valentines day. It is one of Lacoste's many women's perfumes such as Touch of Pink and Touch of Sun. "Inspired by the power of dreams and is created for young women with a passion for life and a sense of energy" has been quoted, and I can see why.
The fragrance is a mix of both flowers and fruit. The notes are Sweet Red Berries, Iced Tea, Lotus Flower, Rose, Sandalwood and Musk. The most obvious note has to be the iced tea, the lotus flower coming second. There isn't another perfume with the same scent, it is really quite interesting! It isn't my favourite fragrance but I do think it is quite nice and unique. It isn't too heavy either, quite light so I'd recommend it for daytime use. It lasts a few hours and after a few hours, you can still smell traces of this perfume. Dream of Pink is a young and fresh fragrance, and would make you feel happier and energetic!
The packaging is identical to Touch of Pink's! Anyway, the box is baby pink with a curved pink bottle on it with Lacoste and Dream of Pink printed on it. It's simple but pretty.
The bottle is baby pink at the bottom of the bottle and the pink slowly gets lighter the higher the bottle until it's almost just transparent glass. The bottle is triangular and curves in at the sides. The neck of the bottle is silver and the sprayer of the bottle is a silvery pink. The lid of the bottle is the same baby pink as the top of the bottle. It's a pretty bottle and I think it is very attractive. However I think the box could be nicer.
Dream of Pink is available in 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette and also in matching body lotion. The 50ml bottle can be found for around £33, 90ml for £43. You can't really find it for much cheaper.
***Lacoste Dream of pink perfume***
I love perfumes, especially the touch of pink range. So when dream of pink came out i decided to buy the set.
The ingredients in this are listed as blend of Sweet Red Berries and Iced Tea. Followed by Lotus Flower and the Rose.I think that this gives it a fruity and floral smell. It is nice but not as nice as touch of pink!
Packaging- Most of the packaging is pink in colour, the bottle itself is pretty much the same as touch of pink just the shade of pink is a little different.
As i have said i do not think it is as nice as touch of pink. One of the ingredients (iced tea) is far too strong in my opinion and it is like having a cup of instant iced tea, okay to drink but i don't want to smell like it!!!Also like most Lacoste perfumes it lasts a reasonable amount of time but in this perfumes case i think it is a bad thing.
Other products include body lotion.I am not sure of price as i used boots points, plus prices change all the time anyway.
