Disadvantages: None apart from I've let on about my 'secret' scent

I'm particularly fussy about the perfumes I wear or buy and I only have one or two on my dresser but Lacoste pour femme is one of them.

I fell in love with this fragrance by complete accident when a friend brought me some back from holiday (duty free) as a gift and I've kept a bottle of it with me ever since.

The bottle came in a lovely light yellow and silver box with minimal design on. The bottle is heavy glass with a square base and a beautifully textured silver steel cap (which was inspired by their famous 1212 polo shirt). It was designed by German designer Lutz Herman who has also designed the packaging for Dolce and Gabbana 'the one', Kate Moss 'velvet hour' and Kylie 'sexy' to name but a few.

The scent combines top notes of Jamaican pepper and freesia, heart notes of Iranian jasmine and Bulgarian rose and base notes of Himalayan cedarwood and sandalwood.

The scent to me has a liquorice hint to it along with the peppery floral notes and slight vanilla muskiness which is clean and sophisticated. Being an eau de parfum, it lasts with you all day and it great value for money as you only need a one spray on a morning to last you right through.

There are two sizes of eau de parfum available, 50ml at approx £20.00 and 90ml at approx £30.00 (prices from Superdrug.com) as well as a body crème, shower gel and a roll on deo (prices unknown).

I think this perfume is really unique, it sits beautifully on my skin and is chic and sophisticated without being heavy, making this an ideal all round fragrance for day and night.

I totally agree with the statement from Lacoste that this is 'style on skin'
