--- Introduction --- I was given this perfume as a gift for Christmas in a set with some body lotion and shower gel. I had always wanted to try this scent but I always put off buying it because I had a huge collection of perfumes already and there always seemed to be a perfume I wanted more. I was a little unsure when I first tried this perfume as I think the scent takes a little while to settle, but I have grown to really like it. --- The Scent --- As always, the most important thing when you are buying a perfume is the scent. This scent is described by Lacoste as 'a fruity-floral which captures the essence of a woman full of youthful sensuality.' Personally, I can definitely smell the fruity-floral combination and that is what I get most from this perfume. I would say when you first apply this perfume the scent is very fruity and I can especially smell oranges and lemons. To be honest, the initial smell kind of smells like kitchen cleaner to me (I think this is the citrus note because all my cleaners smell like lemons!). As weird as this sounds, the smell does get better, I promise! Once the scent has settled, after a few minutes the floral notes come through a lot stronger and the overriding scent is sweet and floral. I can smell strong jasmine and violet notes and I personally think this perfume smells a little bit like parma violets, which I love. The scent is strong and lasts well but it is not overpowering. I often get compliments when I am wearing this perfume and I think the scent is quite a universally likable one. If you like floral perfumes that have a sweet edge then I think you will really enjoy this scent. It isn't particularly stand out or one that you would instantly recognise if you smelt it, but it is very pleasant and perfect to wear out in the day. --- The Bottle --- The bottle for this perfume is fairly simple, but I think it is very pretty. The bottle is a triangular shape with curved sides, which is quite different from the standard circular bottle and I think it stands out on the shelf. The bottom of the bottle is pink and this fades into clear as it goes up the bottle. The design is very pretty and the pink on the bottle makes it feminine and girly. Although the bottle is pink and does have lots of girly features, I also think it has a bit of a sporty look to it, which is consistent with the Lacoste brand. I'm think this is because the bottle is fairly simple apart from the splash of pink colour. If you love perfumes with ornate bottles then this probably isn't for you, but personally as long as it smells good I don't mind! I really like the way this bottle looks and I always have it out on display in my bedroom. --- Price --- This perfume is quite expensive, but as with similar scents you are paying for the brand name as well as the scent. You can purchase 30ml for around £25, 50ml for £39 or 90ml for £49.50 and it is available at Boots, Superdrug, most department stores, high street perfume shops and I've even seen in for sale in my local Tesco. It is definitely worth shopping around to find the best price as often stores have deals or promotions or you might be able to use some Clubcard vouchers towards it! Personally I do think this perfume is overpriced. It smells nice, but I don't think it is particularly distinctive and there are quite a few similar scents on the market. I would probably not repurchase this unless I found a good deal. --- Overall Opinions --- I really like this scent, it is fresh, floral, sweet and a little bit fruity. It is a very pleasant scent and one that I feel is perfect to wear during the day. I really love that the scent reminds me of parma violets and I really enjoy the fact that it is a bit sweeter than a lot of floral perfumes. However, whilst the scent is nice, it is not amazing and it is quite similar to other floral smells. I personally wouldn't be able to smell it and instantly recognise it as I can with some other perfumes. The bottle is simple, but I think it is quite girly and cute. You might argue however, that for your money you would expect to have a slightly grander design. I'm not bothered by this but I can see why some people might be. The price of this perfume is a little high. I'm not convinced that it is unique enough to cost as much as it does, although it is long lasting which means you don't have to use very much a day. Overall, I would recommend trying this perfume in store and letting it settle before you make your mind up (let the lemony/orange smell fade into a nice floral scent). I would say if you like sweet perfumes or floral perfumes you will probably like this, but like me might be hesitant because of the price. I say wait for a deal or an offer and then snap this one up!
==PRICE == I remember first buying this perfume about a year ago at my local Boots store, and I have been a fan ever since. When I repurchased this item after my last one ran out it was a little cheaper than I when I originally bought it, with it retailing at around £39 for the 50ml sized version. The perfume is also available in 30ml for £25 and in a 90ml bottle for £50, which is not a huge price difference but for me personally every penny counts at the moment!. == DESIGN == The perfume comes enclosed in a pretty box that is a nice vibrant pink colour, I am not really a girly girl but even I thought the packaging design and colour suited the fragrance very well making it look sophisticated and feminine. The bottom matches the pink colour scheme with the glass having a brighter colour of pink at the bottom and fading in colour as the glass reaches the top of the perfume. I personally love the design of the bottle with it sort of curving inwards towards the middle and outwards again towards the top, giving an overall sophisticated designer look to the perfume. == FRAGRANCE NOTES & KEY INGREDIENTS == *Blood orange *Coriander *Notes of Jasmine and Violet. *Sandalwood *Vanilla I would describe this perfume as having a fruity hint to it thanks to it blood orange ingredient, at first spray the perfume can seem a little overpowering but after a few minutes the scent softens and that is when the real pleasant fruity aroma comes alive. I am thankful that the scent is far from being overpowering as I tend to get back headaches from strong scented perfumes, so this was ideal for me as I find it quite hard to find perfumes that do not have that negative effect on me. The beautiful sensual fruity aroma lasts for quite a long time, I would put some on in the morning before work and it would last all day and even stay on my clothes the next day which is great as it prevents me from having to reapply the perfume the next morning! I love the fragrance as it radiates summer with its fruity fresh elements, and the hint of vanilla is also detectable giving it nice soft undertones. I personally wear this fragrance during the day and fit it also perfect for wearing on a night out and would say it suits all age ranges. == CONCLUSION == Overall I would recommend this Lacoste Touch of Pink perfume to all women of all age groups, it has a pleasant long lasting fruity fresh fragrance that can be worn during the day or a night. The price is reasonable and considering the fragrance is long lasting it makes spending the little extra on designer perfumes such as Lacoste worth it.
I first purchased this fragrance a couple of years ago for my mother on Mothering Sunday. I was recommended it by a sales assistant in the shop I went to, and naturally I took her recommendation with a pinch of salt, as the shop I went into works on commission. I'm so very glad I purchased this scent. My mother loves it and I also know that I can give it as a gift to any woman; it's just that nice! The bottle is very sturdy, made out of thick glass. The bottles will take a few drops as long as the surface isn't too hard because the glass is so thick. The colouring of the bottle begins with a rich, deep pink and slowly fades into a clear glass which provides a sense of style, and when coupled with the fact that the bottle carries a sexy, hourglass shape, it can be stated with confidence that the bottle is something that can be carried and left on a bedside table with pride. The scent itself is incredible. It smells very fruity and it fades into a smell that to me, reminds me of a fruit pavlova because of the vanilla base notes. Another base note is the smell of sandalwood which I think smells incredible and lasts a long time. This is a very classy, elegant fragrance but it could also be used daily as a general scent. I would recommend this to anyone.
Where I used to live we were within walking distance of Debenhams and we always used to walk through the store on our way to university. On our way through my friends and I would always stop at the perfume counters and try different ones and it was always so tempting to buy them. We didn't have much money so often would just sample them but this was one of the few that I did end up buying as I liked it so much. This is a lovely perfume just to look at, there is something really stylish about the bottle. It is quite tall and almost hour-glass in shape and made from a thick glass which you can see through. The bottom of the glass is a lovely deep pink and this gradually fades to be clear which has a really nice effect. The reason i tried this in the first place was because I liked the bottle. It is a little spray nozzle and this is kept hidden by a plastic lid but that doesn't take away from the rest of the bottle. The logo is clear on the front along with the name of the product but it's all very simple, not too much at all and that is what I like. It is a bottle that I love having on my dressing table although now I've had to hide it in my drawer as Hope likes to try to make a lunge for it with it being pink! This smells so lovely which is why I bought it- yes the bottle is nice but what good is a nice bottle if the perfume isn't any good? When reading the description of the fragrance its so interesting to see what is included - the most surprising being coriander! This is not something I would associate with a perfume at all and i must say that I can't actually smell this in it! What I can smell is a lovely summery fruity scent, the main being orange and then some more subtle sweet smells and then I can smell vanilla. The combination of these is a lovely rich perfume which is light. I tend to use two sprays of this and spray it onto my clothes rather than my skin as I find that it lasts longer this way. I'm not sure if it really does but I think it does anyway. I don't wear perfume on a daily basis but if you do then this is one which is lovely for day wear as it's not too strong a smell and is very light. I particularly like how it lasts well. If I spray it at the beginning of the day I can still smell it on my clothes when it's evening. It isn't because I've applied too much or because it is overly strong but just because it is a good quality perfume. I don't buy many perfumes but this is one which I do like to make sure I have some of and if i'm running low I like to buy some more as it is to me a very reliable perfume. I highly recommend it although of course I think it's important to always smell a perfume before buying it as it's a very personal thing.
My fiancé travels quite a lot for work, because of this he is always in the airport. The odd time when he is travelling through duty free he buys me a little bottle of perfume, especially when he has been away for a long time. About a year ago, he landed home with a bottle of this Lacoste Touch of Pink perfume, he always liked the Lacoste male fragrances, so thought I might like to try the female version. The Bottle This perfumes bottle isn't really anything special. It is kind of ombre pink at the bottom, and clear at the top, it is made of quite thick and sturdy glass and the lid is transparent. The bottle is triangular in shape and has quite rounded edges, the Lacoste logo and name is on the bottle and it also says 'Touch of Pink' up the side as well. I wouldn't say this is the nicest, or most modern bottle of perfume, but it isn't really ugly or off putting. I would just say this bottle looks ok, but the perfume inside makes up for it. Scent This scent is made up of the following: Heart notes Jasmine, Violet, Carrot Seed Oil Top notes Orange, Cardamom, Coriander Base notes Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla What I Thought I really liked this perfume, it has a lovely floral and light scent to it, I find that it is great to wear as an every day perfume, but I usually wear something with a more classy scent when I am going somewhere nice. This perfume is really fun and young, I am sure that it is appealing to a more mature market too, but there is something very feminine and youthful about this scent. This scent is not too overpowering and has a really fresh vibe to it, it lingers nicely on my skin, even when it has just been applied. I really like that this scent isn't too sickening and I find that it doesn't trigger my migraine, which can be a problem with more heavier, muskier scents. This perfume does not last as long throughout the day as other perfumes I have used, it kind of wears off by dinner time and I find that if I am going out again at night time, I need to re apply it as the scent has dulled down and is almost worn off. Price and Availability You can buy this perfume in Debenhams within the price range of £25-£50 depending on the bottle size: 30ml- £23 50ml- £26 90ml- £50 I think that this is quite a good price for this perfume, if I was to buy it again I would go for the 50ml bottle as I think it is the best value, and get bored of perfumes too quickly to buy a 90ml bottle. Usually when I am buying perfume, I try to wait for Debenhams to put on their 20% sale and then it is extra value. Overall I really like this perfume and think I would probably re buy it in the future, my 50ml bottle lasted me just under a year and it was a lovely and fresh, floral scent. This perfume is quite affordable and is worth the money in my opinion. Overall I would give this perfume 4 out of 5 stars *also on ciao under lorrainek90
I hadn't tried Lacoste's 'Touch Of Pink for years so when i saw it on offer in Boots a few months ago (50% of fragrance) I treated myself to a nice 30 ml bottle for around £17.00. Bargain! The Touch of Pink is a lovely feminine fragrance and is presented in an equally feminine bottle and box. The entire production is a candyfloss pink tone with the bottle and box fading from a deep fuscia pink at the base to a pale pink, almost clear glass at the top. The bottle has a chuncky silver base to its lid on top of which sits a small pink diffuser. The bottle is tapered in a slight hourglass shape and really does lend itself to femininity. The perfume itself is a floral and oriental mix which is light, girly and run. It has top notes of Jasmine, Violet, Orange and Cardamom and base notes of sandalwood, vanilla and musk. You can instantly pick up on the Jasmine, Violet and Musk tones throughout the perfume but what i particularly like about Touch of Pink is its suitable changes as you go through the day. With the inital application the floral tones of Jasmine and Violet are strong and powerful (not overly so however). These fade to a lighter tone after around 30 minutes and begin to allow the Vanilla to combine with them. After a few hours the deeper woody notes like Musk then develop and give a whole different feel to the perfume. This makes Touch of Pink a great all day long fragrance. I couldn't pick up on the Orange or Cardamom at all but the other fragrances come through very clearly and blend in and out of one another perfectly. The perfume is long lasting and easily stays around most of the day without the need to re-apply. For a nice girly perfume with abit of an edge 'Touch of Pink' is the one for me!
Touch of Pink by Lacoste is an Eau de Toilette which I first bought a couple of years ago after smelling the scent on a friend of mine and really liking it. After questioning her on what she was wearing I found the scent quite easily in one of the perfume shops in Birmingham and bought myself a nice 90ml bottle. The Packaging Touch of Pink came packaged in a very eye-catching box decorated in various shades of pink. The bottle inside the box is a really nice design, it is triangle shaped and the glass is tinted pink at the bottom and gets gradually lighter until it is clear at the top of the bottle. There is a matt silver coloured band at the top of the bottle and a pink pump spray nozzle located underneath a quite nice clear plastic lid. The front of the bottle has the Lacoste logo and "touch of pink" printed on the front. The liquid inside the bottle is almost clear in colour but looks as if it is tinted pink due to the bottle being tinted. Personally I really like this bottle, I think it is nice and kind of unusual without being over the top. How Does It Smell? One word... delicious! To me, Touch of Pink has a really nice and almost yummy kind of scent. I'm not sure why I would describe it as yummy because I don't want to eat it but the smell is delicious, it is very fresh and feminine and a scent which is perfectly suited to the summer months although I do actually enjoy wearing this throughout the year as I enjoy having that light summery feeling to brighten up the darker, colder winter months. Touch of Pink is very light and quite a soft scent and when I initially spray this scent I often get a nice fruity scent which soon settles to a nice soft white florals scent with hints of jasmine and vanilla. I do like to wear this scent particularly during the summer months due to its freshness, however it is nice to spray during the winter months and get that lovely summery feeling at a time when it seems so far away! As for lastability I find that Touch of Pink will last for a good while, I tend to get dressed at around 8am each morning and if I spray this while I am getting ready it will have settled nicely by the time I am out and about and the nice subtle scent will last a full working day and often into the evening as well which is great for me as I only have a small bag and don't really like having to carry anything extra in it! If I was going out in the evening I would probably have to re-apply the scent but this is fine as 9 times out of 10 I would go home before going out. In my opinion this is a scent which is suitable for both daytime and evening occasions and I have often worn it for evenings out with friends where I have received compliments on the scent as it can be noticed without being overpowering. Price I have bought a few bottles of this perfume from different places and each time I have paid a different price, at the moment you will find it in Boots at £20 for a 50ml bottle or on Amazon at £21.60 for a 30ml bottle. Would I Recommend? I would definitely recommend Touch of Pink to you, it is a very fresh and feminine scent which is subtle yet very noticeable without crossing the line into overpowering. The price is good if you shop around and I will definitely be purchasing another bottle of this in the future! Thanks for reading :)
Luckily for me my perfume is mainly brought for me around Birthdays and Christmas times. Mainly by my brothers as they never know what to get me, so make me pick what smelly too! So I'm shopping around the perfume section in boots smelling the smells, when I come across Lacoste a Touch of Pink. There is also joy of pink, and love of pink which come in very similar packaging but slightly different scents. The first thing that caught my eye was the colour of the product. It comes in a pink bottle, it starts of very light at the top and goes a darker pink as it goes down. The actual bottle is a triangular shape and has a fancy lid on it. It's also see through which helps, as you can always see how much of the product you have left. The packaging is very simple but bright which I think made me notice it even more. Sadly I can be a little clumsy at times so have dropped the bottle quite a few times. It's quite tough as it doesn't even have scratch on it! Very durable. The Scent is very fruity and has a hint of floral too. It's a very refreshing, feminine scent. I personally wear it all year round for any occasion. The scent lingers pretty much all day to, so you don't have to keep respraying yourself. You can get the perfume in different bottle sizes, the ones I've seen are 15ml, 30ml, 50ml and 90ml. When shopping I have seen the 50ml advertised around £28. I absolutely love the smell if this perfume and would buy it for myself and also as a gift. Lovely fresh girly smell that stays and makes you smell great!
~~Lacoste Touch of Pink Perfume~~ I have been using this product for well over 2 years know and have purchased many bottles of this perfume over that period of time. I absolutely love it! ~~Packaging~~ The perfume comes in a pink box with the brand and product name on the front; it is very simple but highly affective as it stands out on the shelf. The perfume bottle itself also carries the pink theme, it is a nice slim bottle with a slight curve to the sides and the bottom of the bottle is dipped pink again the brand and product name are written on the front of the bottle. There is a silver and pink spray nozzle which is kept closed with a slightly triangular thick plastic lid. I like the design of the bottle it is simple but very effective and looks lovely on my dresser. The nozzle works great and all the bottles I have had have worked without any problems. The bottles come in different sizes 30ml, 50ml and 90ml. The first bottle I bought came as part of a gift set and came with matching shower gel and body lotion, the most recent bottle I purchased was 90ml. I would recommend buying the bigger bottle as you save a bit of money if you are going to use it often. ~~Scent~~ I would say this product is more aimed towards young women between the ages of 16-25 although it could be worn by anyone in my opinion. The scent is very fruity and floral it is lovely, it is by far the best perfume I have had and I have had perfumes by Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Hugo Boss and many other well-known brands. The product claims that it is scented to smell like a "burst of blood orange with the fresh sparkle of coriander, followed by sensuous, honest notes of jasmine and violet. The radiant prelude is prolonged by a refined dry down of sandalwood and completed by a dreamy, lingering kiss of vanilla." I wouldn't say you can smell these individual scents yet they work together to great a sensuous smell. The scent is quite summery and it would make a great addition to any suitcase destined for long warm nights by the beach. I find that with 2 sprays of this in the morning then the product settles and does last until the evening, I have not found a perfume that has had such a good longitivity as this perfume. The scent fades throughout the day and becomes subtle but pleasant. ~~Price~~ Lacoste touch of pink 30ml Amazon.co.uk: £22.45 Asda: £21.60 Boots: £25.00 Superdrug: £24.50 Debenhams: £25.00 Lacoste touch of pink 50ml Asda.com: £30 Boots: £38 Debenhams: £38 Lacoste touch of pink 90ml Boots: £32.66 House of Fraser: £48.00 I would therefore try the product in the shop and if you like it purchase the 90ml bottle from Boots as it works out cheaper than the 50ml bottle and is only £10.21 more than the 30ml even though you are getting 3 times the product. I hope this review has helped if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Review also on Ciao under the same username
I was first given lacoste touch of pink for my 16th birthday, by my boyfriend :) i dont know if this was because it was new and some one at the shop had reccommended it to him, or if he went with the pink, as ti comes it a shocking pink box, with the bottle itself been clear, but with dark pink at the bottom, getting lighter as it goes up :) I can be quite picky with perfume, as too strong ones give me headache and i dont really like flowery perfume. This is quite unique, sounds odd to say but to me it smells girly and fresh, although not fresh as in air so nothing, but a summer air :) hehe but it really is a beautiful smell :) and not too overpowering. Another good thing, is that it the smell, even with a few sprays, will last a good few hours, it doesnt just loose smell as soon as you go outside :) I now always have one in stock on my bathroom cabinet :)
I have quite a generous variety of perfumes and anything with a pink colour to it is always going to draw my eye when it comes to purchasing new fragrances. Lacoste 'Touch of Pink' is a perfume that I have purchased on a couple of occasions now and I am always willing to pick it up if it is on special offer. It is a classic perfume in my collection that I return back to time and time again. I paid £19.99 for my last 30ml eau de toilette bottle from fragrancedirect.co.uk and this was one of the first fragrances I ever purchased from the website. I found this to be one of the best prices available and after reading a good review on the website I decided to give them a go. You can also find this on Amazon and in The Perfume Shop but I have found fragrancedirect.co.uk to offer the best price. This perfume is nothing too special to look at in terms of bottle shape and is one of the more plain perfumes in my regular collection of favourites. This bottle has a pink colour the gradually builds up from the top down to the bottom. This goes from light pink to a very dark pink and looks lovely really. The bottle is slightly tapered at both ends and has a nice fancy lid on it. The bottle is opaque so you can see how much perfume is left. I love this feature of the bottle as hate not knowing how much is left in a perfume bottle because quite often they are heavy and its misleading as to how much perfume is left. This bottle is sturdy and has been knocked over on my dressing table several times without any damage being done. This fragrance Lacoste is a fresh fruity perfume that has notes of coriander, blood orange & cardamom with heart of jasmine and violet leaves followed by sandalwood and vanilla. This provides a fresh fragrance that lasts throughout and has floral tones to it. This is a fresh fragrance that is delightful to wear all year round but particularly during the Summer months. The floral notes of this perfume shine through and the sweetness adds to this very well. Jasmine and violet are the notes that stand out for me but I feel that all of the notes work very well together. The blood orange adds a delightful citrus scent to it that is clean and fresh without being overpowering. This ends with warm notes for a delightful end to several hours (often around 5) of lovely fragrance. I would definitely recommend this perfume. The price is reasonable, a little goes a long way and it has fantastic staying power, more so than some of the more expensive brands I have purchased in the past.
I received this perfume as a gift for Christmas from my Grandmother. I usually ask her for perfume because she is very good at choosing a scent which is both classic and appeals to my tastes - floral and feminine. This comes in a glass bottle which fades from a bright pink to a light trace of pink the further up you go. It has the lacoste logo and name in white at the top of the bottle and touch of pink written vertically down the bottle. The lid is a triangle of clear plastic with a silver plastic rim around the pink metal pump. The pump works as you hope it would - with ease. It distributes enough perfume to cover the area and not so much that you are drenched in fragrance. The bottle is transparent meaning you can see how much fragrance you have left. Overall I really like the design of the bottle and despite not being the biggest fan of pink I think this projects quality without coming across as tacky because of the bright colour. The scent is a very warm, lightly floral feminine scent. I think it is very pleasant although it is probably a little subtle for me (I like a subdued perfume but this one is a little hard to smell even when you have just sprayed it). That said, it does last a long time so if you prefer a more subdued fragrance this one would be perfect for you. The perfume is described as 'a fruity floral fragrance, that is feminine, fresh and playful'. I think the first two statements are fair, although I'm not sure I would describe this perfume as playful. It is a safe choice because it is pleasant without being overpowering but playful it is not. The perfume has core notes of blood orange, coriander, jasmine and violet. This is followed by undertones of sandalwood and overtones of vanilla. The overall impression is of a warm, floral and yet fruity smell which is very subtle and sophisticated. I tend to use this as my day perfume because it isn't too overpowering. I think it is just too subtle to be used as an evening fragrance - I prefer to use something with a bit more of a distinct smell when I go out. I think the overall look of the perfume combined with the scent project a sense of quality. It feels like an expensive perfume (and it has a price to match). I think it is a really great choice as a gift because if you don't know exactly the persons tastes then it is subtle enough that almost anybody would like it. At £25.00 for 30ml this is a fairly standard priced perfume for a designer brand. You can also buy it in large sizes which is good if you really love the fragrance as this often works out cheaper per ml. It has been relatively long lasting - I use this mostly as a day perfume and it is still half full after 2/3 months of use. Would I buy it for myself? I think I would love to receive it as a gift again because it's a good day perfume but I probably don't love it enough to buy one for myself. I would, however, definitely choose it as a gift because it is subtle enough that most people would like the fragrance. I think this is quite good value for money, not something I would purchase again but something I would be happy to receive as a gift again.
After having smelt Lacoste Touch Of Pink while out shopping, I decided to put it on my Christmas list last year and very kindly my brother bought me a bottle and it is becoming a favourite scent of mine. Packaging Lacoste Touch of pink comes in a bright pink box which is very eye catching. The bottle itself is dark pink at the bottom and the colour gradually gets lighter towards the top, where it is nearly see through. The lid is see through and pops off very easily and the nozzle itself is a metallic baby pink. The Lacoste logo is printed on the front of the bottle and the words touch of pink are written on the bottle in baby pink writing. I think this perfume bottle is very girly and looks lovely on my perfume shelf with the rest of my collection. Price A 15ml bottle will cost around £13, a 30ml bottle will cost you £20, a 50ml bottle will cost around £31 and a 90ml bottle will set you back around £39. What Does It Smell Like? This perfume has a very light scent, but no so light that it will not be noticed. It is quite a sweet and girlie smell but is not too sickly. I would say that this scent is meant to be quite subtle, people will notice it, but not because the smell is too overpowering. According to Lacoste's website, the ingredients include blood orange, coriander, jasmine, violet, sandalwood and vanilla. How Long Does The Smell Last? This fragrance is designed to be fairly subtle so when you first put it on, it does smell slightly stronger at first than it does throughout the day. This left me thinking that the fragrance didn't last very long as I couldn't actually smell it that well on myself, but colleagues, friends and my boyfriend have often commented on the fragrance much later in the day after having put it on several hours beforehand so this obviously does last! Summary I think that this a great subtle fragrance, nice and girlie without being too sickly and obvious enough without choking people when you walk into the room. Although the price may seem quite expensive, it's actually about the going rate for a designer name perfume. For people who don't like a fragrance that is too heavy or too obvious, then this would be the perfect scent.
Lacoste Touch of Pink has been my favourite perfume for as long as I can remember, most likely since it's launch in 2004! I first bought it because it was pink and girly, fell in love with it and have used it ever since! I absolutely adore the fragrance! The top notes are cardamon seeds, orange and coriander. It has heart notes of jasmine, violet and carrot seed oil. It has base notes of vanilla and sandlewood. The perfume comes in a pink rectangular box with Lacoste written in white. It is a girly, modern and classy looking box - very pretty to look at. Although prices vary online, you can typically buy the 30ml bottle for around £25, the 50ml for around £40 and the 90ml for around £50. Prices vary from shop to shop but that is a rough average. The bottle is glass, it feels solid but not too heavy. You could probably carry around the 30ml or even 50ml in your handbag. The bottle is pink, with a pink see-through lid and pink spray button. The bottle starts at dark pink at the bottom and gradually fades to a light pink at the top. This perfume definitely has lasting power - I spritz it a few times in the morning and can still smell it by the evening. It also tends to linger on my clothes which I love. On the first spray it smells a bit fruity, but soon settles down to a more floral scent which is light and feminine. For me, I would say the vanilla and jasmine stand out the most. When layered with the shower gel or body lotion, the scent is stronger and more powerful but still subtle enough that you wouldn't smell it from 6 feet away! It is a refreshing girly scent and I absolutely adore it. 5 stars from me! ALSO APPEARS ON ciao UNDER MY USERNAME PINKPRINCESS244
First off I apologise for the full review of the Lacoste Touch of Pink gift set, rest assured I do cover the perfume ~ This is one of my favourite perfumes, the bottle is a classic design and quite plain compared to other perfumes aimed for girls on the market today. The bottle is pink in colour, darker at the bottom fading into a paler pink at the top. It has a traditional spray nozzle at the top beneath a pink see-through cap. Getting the perfume as part of a gift set is even nicer as you then get the shower gel and body lotion to match and you can layer the scent. As this is a lighter scent, layering it does work incredibly well. Lacoste Touch of Pink has Top Notes of ~ *Orange *Coriander *Cardamon Seeds Heart Notes of ~ *Jasmine *Violet *Carrot Seed Oil Base Notes of ~ *Sandalwood *Vanilla The fruity aroma upon first spritz is captivating is smells so fresh and clean, it moves subtley onto the delicate floral heart notes and it gently merges into the soft musky bases. The staying power of the perfume alone is at least 6 hours, I have spritz first thing in the morning and can still smell it later on in the afternoon, but using it with the shower gel which doesn't lather as much as your usual shower gels but does leave you feeling clean and refreshed, helps the scent last longer. The body lotion also has the aroma, but not as strong as the perfume. It does sink into the skin nicely though and leaves me feeling moisturised. The gift set costs roughly £42 and contains 50ml of each product. The perfume alone can cost from £25 + depending on where it is bought and the size of the bottle you choose so the full gift set is worth the money. The packaging for the gift set is simple but attractive, the 3 items lay in a tray in a row and the lid of the box has the croc logo, it's all pink and girly in colour and in my opinion would make a brilliant gift.
An intriguing fresh, fruity floral fragrance / classical in structure but with a young, modern edge /
