I first smelt Lacoste Touch of Pink when I received a free sample of it through the post and I loved it straight away so I was pleased to receive a bottle of it for my birthday.

The Fragrance
Lacoste Touch of Pink is described as a floral fruity perfume which to some extent is the case, however I often think of floral perfumes as being a little harsh, Lacoste Touch of Pink has quite a sweet smell to it and not harsh at all, it has a very feminine summery smell to it, the sweetness of the fragrance makes it subtle enough to wear for any occasion, it makes a lovely perfume to wear during a night out, but it is not too over powering to wear during the day at work.

Is it long lasting?
Now I have read where several people have said they do not find it long lasting, I find that on the skin after a while the smell of the perfume does start to fade slightly, however I find this to be the case with most perfumes unless they have a very over powering fragrance. However I tend to spray my perfume on my clothes in a little in my hair, that way the perfume can be smelt all day and does not wear off and fade. I spray it in my hair as I tend to use hairspray most days and the perfume helps to take the hairspray smell away leaving your hair smelling fresh. So I think I would say it is long lasting when sprayed on clothes but does fade slightly on the skin, but this is not uncommon with a lot of perfumes, but it is certainly not something that would put me off this perfume.

The Packaging
Lacoste Touch of Pink comes in a long, thin, slightly curved glass bottle which shades from cerise pink at the bottom to almost plain clear glass at the top. It has a pink spray button which is covered with a clear plastic lid. The words Touch of Pink are written along the length of the bottle with the famous Lacoste Crocodile and the word Lacoste towards the top of the bottle. The bottle is quite classy and is very feminine, it is a bottle that would look good displayed on your dressing table. The bottle comes in a bright pink box with a picture of the shape of the bottle on the front of it. Like the bottle the words Touch of Pink are written along the length of the box with the Lacoste crocodile towards the top of the box, again with the word Lacoste written underneath it. At the bottom of the box are the words "Eau De Toilette Pour Femme Vaporisateur Natural Spray" all written in white lettering. The ingredients of the perfume are written on the back of the box, along with the usual warnings such as flammable, keep away from heat and flames. Price
The bottle I was brought is a 50ml bottle and cost £20, this was brought from an online shop on ebay however I am aware that this can be brought in different sized bottles and from places such as cheapsmells.com. The cost depends on the size of the bottle and also where it is brought from, I feel that £20 for a 50ml bottle is good value for money, you do not need much of the perfume at a time, therefore making it long lasting and very economical.

Overall I am very impressed with this perfume, I have to admit I was attracted to it my the pink packaging, however after smelling the fragrance of the free sample I received I knew it was a perfume for me. Anyone who likes quite a sweet smelling perfume and one that is subtle and not too over powering would love this so I would recommend giving it a try,
