Launched: 2005 Group: Fruity floral ~ Introduction ~ Being interested in the history of perfumery, I've known for a long time that in 1935 Lancome's founder, Armand Petitjean launched five fragrances, one of which, Tropiques to mark the birth of the 'The Lancome Perufme Spirit'. It was a make it or break it affair, and of course as we know, Lancome is still one of the most successful luxury perfume houses. The new Tropiques fragrance that is part of the 'Travel Collection' series isn't a re-make of the original Tropiques, but rather a re-interpretation of its predecessor.
