... Cardamon (spicy and aromatic) - Green mate (extract of Paraguay Island leaves ? grassy with notes of tea). There are also undertones of sweet lime and ginger. The smell reminds me of summer. It is great for when you don?t feel like being overwhelmed by a complex fragrance, because it is so light. USAGE Simply spray on as you would any other body fragrance. You are also recommended to rub it in afterwards, though I never do. On the Lancome website, it says that the Aromatonic range is based on the shiatsu oriental tech...more

Crowned Review Lancôme: Aroma Tonic, Eau de Toilette: Energise yourself (673 words)

What do you get when you cross aromatherapy with the skills of Lancome?s scientific research team? Aromatonic. I first smelt this when I was given a trial size as part of a goodie pack when I bought another Lancome product. It was so delicious that I kept lingering past the Lancome counter on my lunch hour and spraying it on. After the 10th day in a row, I thought I had better buy it before the lady asked me ?So are you going to buy this or what?? I always find fragrance opinions quite difficult, because more than almost any other product, people have different perceptions of what they like. Smell is one of the most subjective senses, but all I can say as ...  Read the complete review

You know in the winter months when it is miserable outside and you spend all your time cocering yourself up in the hope that you can keep warm, well that is the time of year when your skin can suffer a great deal. A few months ago when browsing the counters of my local House of Fraser I found my self being accosted by one of the counter ladies. It was my day off uni and not being in a particular rush to get anywhere I thought I had nothing to lose by listening to what she had to sell me, you never know thesedays it is a good way to get free facials and make-overs! It seems that the product she was plugging was "Lancome Aromatonic", the name for a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lancôme: Aroma Tonic, Eau de Toilette: Uplifting and Fresh (189 words)

Aromatonic is a fairly new product by Lancome, it is marketed as an energising body treatment fragrance along the same lines as the very famous Clarins Eau Dynasimante. It comes in a generous sized pale green bottle and costs approx £25.00 although I managed to pick up a bottle when travelling to France so got it relatively cheaper. It is a very uplifting, fresh, lemony fragrance perfect for summer months and can be sprayed all over, I believe it is also meant to tone your skin however I haven't seen any evidence of that but it smells divine. I would say that this is a great scent to take with you to the gym to spray on afterwards to cool you down. Note that the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Aromatonic - Lancome (154 words)

OK we don't have the heat (yet) this summer but if we had to put up with a heat wave that's what I would go for. This is the most refreshing products I ever tried even though the price stretched my purse and I don't usually go for the big names cosmetic companies stuff. Spray aromatonic on, after the shower/bath or just under your clothes in the day and it's just like you've walked under a waterfall of green freshness (cut grasses, citrus, green tea). The other product I liked in the range is the "liquid talcum" with the same great but discreet smell to leave your skin smooth and unclammy for a long time. The perfuming agents for the ...  Read the complete review
