As far as I know this scent has been around about 70 Years, therefore proving just how much of a success this fragrance obviously is. I first discovered Hypnose quite a few years ago when I was rather young and fell in love with it from the very first spray! I even used to purposely walk into department stores and spray this scent on me just because I loved it so much, but at the time it was too pricey for me. After quite a few months I decided to finally go ahead and buy this beautiful scent and I haven't looked back since!

For me this is the scent I believe I will wear for the rest of my life, I always like to try out new scents and usually have more than one perfume but none have compared to this one, and while the others come and go there will always be a place on my dressing table for the Lancome Hypnose! Over the years I have found that with many other perfumes I have purchased I either go off them after a while or squirm slightly when I first spray them as they can be slightly unpleasant in excesses, but with Hypnose I would want to smell it all day! It's not too sweet; it is just a lovely strong sensual and sexy scent that is very alluring.

Not only is the scent such a beautiful fragrance but it lasts amazingly long too, which is very important for us women. If I sprayed it onto my clothes I would be able to smell it all day long and even for days after until it was washed! My mum used to always comment saying how lovely the washing basket would smell when it had my clothes in it. My partner also loves this scent on me too and comments how he can always smell it even when I can't. As most of us know we can get used to a scent and so may not smell it on ourselves but others still can.

The bottle also looks elegant, expensive and is beautiful in itself, and the purple colour of the perfume sets it all off perfectly. In my opinion I feel this perfume is reasonably priced for the amount you get as one spray goes along way. I have always bought the Eau de Parfum as it's more worthwhile to get a higher concentrate of scent that will stay on and last longer. I think my 30ml Eau de Parfum bottle lasted me about 5 months and that was using it everyday and usually more than once per day. Sometimes I would even spray my room and pillows with it so I think 5 months was good!

Overall, this is the perfume for me and after trying many other scents I haven't found anything that compares!
