Laura Biagiotti is made by Laura Biagiotti, a Italian high fashion designer, and Laura the perfume made the debut in 1994.
Laura is a feminine, sophisticated fragrance, without being old fashioned. It has light, refreshing fruity overtones and an undertone with a hint of vanilla. Out of all my perfumes, this is the one I love the most, and everyone says that when they smell it, they think of me; I love how you don't see it around very often, I get mine from duty free when I go abroad, and the rarity of the aroma, means I wont be smelling like every other person on the streets like I would with a 'fashionable' fragrance.
Laura can only be described as reminiscent of summer, of long lazy days by the beach, and fruity smoothies and cocktails. It stays on very well, not fading quickly like some perfumes; its lightness isn't acidic like cheaper variations, (although it does sting if you spray it into your eyes).
The bottle is tall and elegant, a classic unchanged by time, and it comes in a light blue box.
Cost wise, 75ml will set you back around 30 pounds, which isn't bad for a designer perfume, but you'll either have to buy it online or at duty free, most perfume shops don't stock it.
There are other fragrances by Laura Biagiotti such as Laura Biagiotti Due Donna or Laura Biagiotti Roma, which I would certainly like to try. But nothing I have tried so far as been better than this wonderfully light scent, which I'd call my 'signature' fragrance.
