==Lee Stafford Pink Passion==
I am a big fan of perfumes and smelling nice and I always have a pretty good selection of different perfumes on the go. I tend to buy most of my perfumes from Avon or Boots and try to get the in Boots mainly for my 10% discount and the lure of the Boots Advantage Card points.
I purchased this Lee Stafford Pink Passion a good while ago and it is possibly the most dust encrusted bottle I have on my side (have just cleaned it off!) when I bought this bottle I purchased the Lee Stafford Pink at the same time. The main reason for this was because Boots had a special off on making this bottle even cheaper than its usual cheap price. The RRP is £10.16p but if I remember rightly I paid around £6-£7 for the 50 ml bottle.
It is not an expensive perfume and its one of the fragrances that is not kept behind the locked glass cabinets in Boots and can be found in the shelves next to the likes of So?.. and other cheaper fragrances. These seemed to be aimed at the younger market and the whole shelf does have a rather girly feel to it.
The Pink Passion from Lee Stafford looks really similar to the other Lee Stafford Pink perfume as the bottle shape and design is exactly the same but there is an extra orange colour added to the pink colours on the cloudy glass bottle and the spray pump nozzle is orange too. The use of the fragrance is easy and the design works well at showing the amount of liquid inside and knowing how much you have left is always a bonus and when pressed down, the spray pump releases a very good amount of the perfume in just the one spray and two or two pumps are really all you need for a good coverage.
The general look of the bottle does however seem to represent the actual cost and you can tell from the off that this is not an expensive fragrance and it does seem like one of those luxury perfumes that make you feel special this seems to be more of an everyday daytime wear rather than a special seductive night time wear fragrance.
The smell of the perfume is nice but very light and fruity. The top notes of peaches, pears and red berries work at making the scent fresh and appealing while having a very summery type of feel to it. The heart notes are far more floral to smell and these give the scent a deeper and more layered feel. It does however seem to lack in any more depth and the base notes don't actually seem to be strong enough it give it real substance and the slight musk scent mixed with amber don't come across well enough to give this perfume any real longevity of meaningful aromas.
The scent itself is a really nice one but the fact that it is light and sweet without that much needed depth make it feel more like a body spray than a supposed perfume. There wasn't really much lasting affects of this perfume and within a couple of hours to keep the scent noticeable you would need to keep reapplying it several times throughout the day.
I think this perfume was not bad for the price that I paid as you do get a fair bit of perfume for your money. However you do need this amount as you have to keep spray it throughout the day to keep smelling nice. The main aspect of the perfume which is the smell is really nice and light with a girly young feel that I can just about still carry off at 28 as long as it is worn in the daytime and in the summer seems to be the most ideal.
All in all this perfume is cheap but doesn't last well on the skin. It has a nice light smell but without much depth. I don't mind wearing it but I can't think it will be a scent that I will purchasing again any time soon and for these reasons I feel a score of 3 out of 5 stars is more than generous and I would only recommend this if you don't expect too much when you buy it!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
