Nina Ricci: Les Belles de Ricci, Eau de Toilette

Yummy, this is simply mouthwatering... I'd never heard of this perfume before, but chanced upon a bottle lurking in the bodysprays and lavender waters at my local Boots. The bottle grabbed my attention first, all limey green metallic and shiny pink. I spritzed a little on my wrists and was transported to a woodland in summer, eating juciy berries and summerfruit pudding...heavenly! This truly is the best perfume ever invented. Firstly the bottle is fantastic, the limes green bottle with the purple top just stands out from all the other perfumes bottles. The bottle isn’t just straight but twisted up to a point. And as for the smell well trust me is it gorgeous. Its really I suppose aimed and is best for teenagers, but I can’t imagine how anyone couldn’t like it. I first bought this fragrance a couple of years ago after hearing many good things about it. After smelling it myself I agreed with everyone and absolutely loved it. Some perfumes can be classed as either a day or night perfume, not this one. You could wear this at any time of the day as it is not too heavy but not so light either. It has a fruity zing and a sweetness to it which gives that little bit of extra appeal against other fragrances. Nina Ricci: Les belles is fruity, fruity. The packaging is ultra unique and stylish, the box is a rectangular shape and lime green with a pink/purple smoke design, and the bottle is in the shape of a winding smoke puff made from frosted lime green glass, and is topped of with a spikey pink/purple cap. The fragrance contains the following top notes: bergamot, citrus and peach, heart notes include: lemon, honey and orange blossom and base notes include: vetiver, oak moss and sandalwood. Nina Ricci has bought out some lovely fragrances since this one, but I still find myself going back. The lime green bubbly smoked glass bottle is a real statement and this only increases due to the fact that the bottle is capped with a hot pink lid. I got a free mini with one purchase of this and is was also in a mimic bottle, just smaller. This bottle is pretty tough too. The urves make it very easy to grip It is a sweet fragrance. Almost like a fruit juice or syrup. It has definitely got some apple in it, but probably has a myriad of other fruit and flowers too.
