This is great for carrying around in your handbag if you don't want massive perfume bottle clunking around in there! I wish I could describe the smell better but it is an amazing scent that I wear for daytime because it just smells so fresh and sweet. A must have for any Lush addict and any girl for that matter. Crowned Review Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Solid Perfume: Honey, you smell good enough to eat! (1238 words)

Situated on a stand that you can't help but browse whilst queuing to pay for your purchases (much like the sweet stands that induce many tantrums at the supermarket tills), are the Lush Solid Perfumes. Whilst waiting to pay for my three items (two justified; cleanser and toner, plus one unjustified treat; Creamy Candy Bubble Bar - which turned out not to be so much of a treat after all) I couldn't help but sniff every solid perfume on the stand. Some, I have to say were downright bad, I don't know who would wish to smell of them but there were a few nice options. One of which was Honey I Washed the Kids, which duly got added to my basket, making me make double the amount ...  Read the complete review

For some reason I have never become a regular shopper at Lush even though a have a quite large store in my town and it always smells SOOO amazing when I walk past. Anyway this is one of the few products I have bought from there and it was more an impulse buy than anything else because if I'm honest Id never even heard of solid perfume before! When I bought this I didnt even use it for a few months but when I noticed my bottles perfume collection running low I thought Id give this one a shot. Appearance: The packaging of this isn't elaborate of anything special just simple silver in colour with the Lush logo and the product name on the top. The style of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Wow The Kids Sure Smell Sweet! (450 words)

I had never heard of a solid perfume, until my friend introduced me to them in Lush, they are perfect for popping in your bag as a little extra. Lush's solid perfumes come in a tiny tin about the size of a tub of lip balm full of a fragrenced wax, they are vegan and are made from natural oils and wax. The solid perfumes in Lush are available in: Honey I Washed the Kids (toffee/honey) American Cream (vanilla) Fever (jasmine, rose and sandalwood) Potion (rose and carnation) Silky Underwear (jasmine and vetivert) Karma (Lush's signature scent). I really like the size of the tins as they are not huge and I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Solid Perfume: A perfume.....that's solid?? (829 words)

I've previously only been lured into buying expensive floral scents in highly elaborate bottles, so was highly dubious about how effective this small tin of solid perfume would be. However, I'm an avid fan of Lush products and easily lured by little displays close to checkouts, so as the shop assistant was processing my many other items at the till, I found myself fiddling with this small tin in front of me and impulsively handed it over to the assistant thinking 'what's an extra £4.94 on top of my already expensive Lush spree.' Not a shopping method I would recommend but in this case it worked out brilliantly. The perfume was then placed on my shelf at uni ...  Read the complete review
