Receiving a free sample of a perfume is all well and good, but generally does not convince me to fork out £30-40 of my hard earned money. Technically, Daisy by Marc Jacobs also failed here as I instead requested it for Christmas - it is a high end fragrance by a top designer, and the price does reflect this. However, I have fallen completely in love with the scent and would be more than willing to invest in a new bottle when I eventually run out. This perfume is light but doesn't disappear from the skin as I have found other summer fragrances do, and smells fresh and overwhelmingly summery - this smell makes me happy. It's perfect for summer but at the same time I can see it working throughout Autumn also, and easily transitions between a fragrance suitable for day, and night. Well worth the investment, the ultimate pretty summery scent for women.
