Advantages: Gorgeous scent, modern bottle

Disadvantages: Very expensive

I received Marc Jacobs Daisy for Christmas 2007 and the first thing that attracted me to it was the gorgeous bottle it comes in. A simple bottle shape with a striking lid, Daisy has a modern twist on perfume containers. Three large white daisys made from plastic are attached to the golden lid, which is easy to remove.

The smell: I absolutly adore the smell. Although it doesn't smell of flowers exactly, the fresh scent is both sexy and sophisticated. A year round scent, not just for the summer (as I said I received it at Christmas!) I think when the perfume is first sprayed, it can be a little overpowering however once it settles down it really is gorgeous

The model: Funky and modern, makes a impressive change to boring perfume bottles

The market: Although Marc Jacobs tends to lean towards the older women, Daisy is perfect for anybody who appreciates a good scent. Teenagers, women and seniors would all suit the scent.

Durability: When I have it I use perfume quite a lot, however these bottles last me a good couple of months. Once sprayed I think the smell lingers on you for 6 or 7 hours, which is typical of a scent.

Price: Very expensive, can expect up to £50 for a bottle dependant on the size, however this is expected for a brand such as Marc Jacobs.

Overall this would be an excellent present for a female, as it caters for all age and sophistication groups. The feminine scent has left me going back for a further 2 bottles, and I only rarely stick to one perfume. A delight.
