I was interested to have a quick look through the other reviews for this perfume and see that some people rated it 1 out of 5 and detested it and others rated it 5 out of 5 and loved it - I guess that's the case with most perfume, you either love it or hate it. Well I love it!

My boyfriend bought me this perfume as an anniversary present a couple of months ago and I've been wearing it ever since - more as a daytime fragrance or sometimes evening. As the name suggests, yes it does have a flowery smell about it but in a nice, light, fairly subtle way, not like old-fashioned perfume which smells of elderflower or anything like that. I don't like perfumes which are too heavy and give me a headache, so this was perfect for me. You can spray it quite freely without it becoming overwhelming, and I'd definitely say that it's a nice perfume for the summer, perhaps even for holidays.

I wouldn't quite upgrade it my favourite night-time perfume (which is Issy Myake). In fact sometimes it's useful to know what other perfumes someone likes, as if you are in agreement with their other perfumes it's more likely you'll like this - I love Issy Myake, Miracle by Lancolme, most Dior perfumes (especially Pure Poison in the see-through bottle), Gucci by Gucci, and Gucci Envy. I guess you would say Daisy, like some of these, is definitely more on the sweeter end of the scale.

Finally a quick word about the packaging - this makes a really special present as the bottle is so pretty and instead of shoving it in a drawer with my other perfumes it took pride of place on one of my shelves!

Summary: If you like reasonably sweet perfumes, you'll love this
