I bought a 75ml bottle for my mother, from Boots, for her birthday and she absolutely loved it.
First of all: the packaging is really pretty and fresh: an embodiment of the perfume itself. It looks really delicate and is likely to attract buyers who like to collect designer bottles.
On to the actual perfume. I found that this perfume was the most delicate and 'lightest' of the Mark Jacobs Daisy range. It has a lovely floral and fruity scent that is reminiscent of a crisp, early Spring season. This is probably due in part to the notes it has: I could definitely pick up some raspberry, rose, apple and grapefruit. It's meant to have cedar as a base note but both me and my mother could not pick up on any woodiness - and thus it remains a very fresh and feminine fragrance.
My mother wore this to her birthday party and she received plenty of compliments. It has a wonderful tendency to linger and burst when you move. Her friends commented on how it was quite 'zingy' - like the top grapefruit notes. It is also quite long lasting - lasting around 16 hours for my mother personally.
For those who are not used to buying expensive perfume, I would say that this is one to possibly invest in as it is so long lasting in small amounts. My mother has never had a Marc Jacobs perfume before and now she's looking to purchase her fourth perfume from the range!
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh is an Eau de Toilette which is available in a 20ml purse spray for £24.50, a 75ml bottle priced at £55.50, or a 125ml bottle priced at £71.50.
I do like the bottle of this perfume, though I don't think it's the best looking in the Daisy range. The flowers on the top are cute and pretty but I think there are better colourways on some of the other Daisy scents. This one looks a little bit boring in comparison to some of the others in my opinion.
The fragrance is described as the spirited new version of the original daisy, which transports you to a place that is happy and sunny exuding a youthful spirit with a positively fresh and charmingly simple feeling. I think that's a pretty accurate description to be honest, it sums it up well as it is a fresh, zingy, positive kind of scent.
The top notes are raspberry, grapefruit and pear, the mid notes are violet, wild rose and apple blossom, and the base notes are musks, cedar wood and plum. The overall scent is a really light, fresh, exciting fruity scent which really does seem to lift the spirits.
This is a perfect day time, summery scent and I really enjoy wearing it, it makes me feel happy every time I smell it and gives me a real boost. I do think it's aimed more at younger women and would suit them best, though that's not to say that older women couldn't get away with it as well.
The light, fresh feel of this fragrance is just lovely but even though it's light it's still very noticeable and could hold it's own on a night out. I use just a couple of sprays of it and this is enough to give a wonderful scent which I get a lot of compliments on. It also lasts well for an eau de toilette, not needing topping up until after about 6 hours.
Yes, I would recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a light, fresh, summery scent which will lift the spirits and receive a lot of compliments.
If you try one Marc Jacobs gorgeous 'daisy' effect range, the bottles with lovely tops of flowers, then you may as well try them all.
The bottle top shouldn't force you to buy the bottle but it does look pretty special and especially alongside the rest of the range! Dam marketing! :)
This, I personally felt, was the lightest out of the range.
These all seem like bright sparkling notes and they are but t is more or a fruity scent than it appears and summery.
For me, all the MIDDLE notes stood out and really well. This smells like the signature fragrance the brand of Marc Jacobs is known for and it helps me as a customer to have confidence when purchasing his range. Also, a lot of my friends notice this scent and immediately suss out who it is by.
I would say this is one of those perfumes that is just too light for winter or autumn and would much prefer a more intense scent but during those hazy summers [ actually can't really remember that many on this isles!] but when we do it is a true reflection of that atmosphere and holds a lot of great memories.
Again the best prices come to those who seek them out, so shopping around online will throw up some great competitive prices and even samples before you buy.
Lovely summery perfume, sweet and fresh! Perfume stays smelling great for hours but is not over powering. Relatively cheap in comparison to other perfumes.
I had wanted to buy perfume for a very long time after trying it at my cousins house for the first time. I was staying at hers for a few nights and noticed this perfume just sitting there on her dressing table. I asked if I could try it and I am so glad that I did. I wore it the whole time that I was there, I was so obsessed with it.
The reason why I loved it so much was because it is such a timeless fragrance. It is just so fresh and as the name suggests it is a floral fragrance. If I had to, I would catergorise this perfume as a daytime one to be used in summer. But saying that I think that this perfume is perfect for any occasion. It is light and very classy.
I also love the lid of the perfume. As you can say from the image above, it has flowers, or more likely daisies, on it. This is a lovely addition to your perfume collection as it just adds to it and makes it look very pretty.
Now this perfume does carry quite a hefty price tag. It costs around £50.00, I would not usually spend this much on perfume but because I loved it so much the first time that I tried it, I had to buy it! To be honest you are getting a lot for your money, so I would definitely recommend it as it is so durable.
I love it!
"Vibrant, charming, whimsical Daisy Eau So Fresh is the spirited new version of the original Daisy. It transports you to a place that is happy and sunny"
This evening let''s check out a birthday present that has been regulated to my wardrobe shelf: Daisy so Fresh is meant to be a completely different fragrance from the original Daisy, but in all honesty I''ve found it to be very similar...
A major way in which the two fragrances are similar is the way that this surprised me with its lightness. I was expecting something a bit bolder and slightly tart based on the list of scent notes; but It is just a simple, mild mix of berries, violets, powdery rose and vanilla on me; It seems very watered down thanks to the long lasting pear note. What I guess to be the ''green notes'' is a faint undertone of something that reminds me of trekking through the woods after the rain - this is the only real difference I''ve noticed between and Daisy.
I guess as this fragrance has ''fresh'' in the title I can''t really complain that it is light and watery, but I can''t detect any real changes between the top, heart and base notes - everything seems jumbled together.
Scent notes: grapefruit, green notes, raspberry, pear, jasmine, rose, violet, litchi, apple blossom, musk, virginia cedar and plum.
Aside from this edition''s close similarities with the original Daisy, my main complaint with Daisy so Fresh is the poor longevity; within three hours I had to press my wrist against my nose and could only get a faint sense of vanilla and musk.
The light, airy fragrance is ideal for the warmer weather, although I do wear mine all year round - when I remember that I have it.
Daisy so Fresh can be worn to work, weekends and would be a good choice for crowded parties, when a stronger fragrance could cause headaches and/or dizziness.
I never reviewed this before as I can''t separate any of the floral notes out - aside from the listed violet and rose, so it''s a pretty boring review.
For the short time it lasts Daisy so Fresh is clean, airy and very feminine, but one problem I had was boredom. Light fruit and vanilla is nothing new, and the notes were so mild they didn''t capture any attention. It was a gift, so I wore it and didn''t dislike it, but I''d never pay money for this - it wears like a body spray.

I am a big fan of light and fresh perfumes so I thought that one that actually had fresh in the name would be perfect for me and it turns out that I was right because I really like this latest perfume from Marc Jacobs. This perfume from Marc Jacobs is a really nice one, especially for summer, because it is light and fruity without being too overpowering. I am a big fan of fresh and light fragrances, which is exactly what this is. If you like things like Cool Water by Davidoff and L'Eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake, I imagine that you will also like this one. It has top notes of citrus fruits although it has flowery bottom notes, which stop you from smelling like a fruit cocktail when you have it on. I have found that it lasts well in that I can still smell it on myself at the end of the day if I have sprayed it in the morning. Having said that, it is not one of those fragrances that just hangs around because it is far too strong. It is a perfect fragrance for summer, especially during the day, although it is strong enough that it is suitable for evening wear too. The bottle, as with all Marc Jacobs fragrances, has a collectible lid. This ions has pink and white daisies on and is really pretty. the only bad thing I have to say about this fragrance is that it is not cheap. Costing upwards of fifty pounds for the seventy five ml bottle that I have, it would probably be worth seeking it out in the duty free shop at the airport if you are going on holiday soon! I do think it is pretty good value for money though, nonetheless, because it has got staying power, you don't need much of it, it comes in a funky bottle and the smell is really nice. Recommended.
I have quite a few perfumes in my cupboard: the nineties classics like J'adore (Dior) and Amarige (Givenchy) which are always the ones I fall back on for a night out. There are of course others like Florabotanica Balenciaga which are very aromatic and depend on the mood, but 'Daisy Eau so Fresh' by Marc Jacobs is the only perfume I have found within the last few years that I can wear every single day without getting sick of it!
Of course this depends on personal taste and before buying I would recommend spraying a sample of it from somewhere, but this is DEFINITELY one to consider if you're looking for a new perfume, because it smells beautiful. I find one or two squirts is normally sufficient for the day and so is quite cost-effective. Of all Marc Jacobs perfume, this flowery scent (I'm told wild raspberry, rose and plum, but let's be honest who really knows?) is subtle but so gorgeous.
It's popular for a reason but honestly perfume smells so different on every woman that you must not rule this out. It would also make a perfect gift for someone.
Whilst it's difficult to decide whether to buy a perfume online if you haven't smelled it, of all the perfumes out there, Daisy eau so fresh should be in your top choices.
