“ Brand: MCM / Type: Fragrance / Concentration: Eau de Parfum / Gender: for women „
I purchased this fragrance a few years ago,and ordered it from the US.At the time it cost me thirty two dollars. The product comes in a 1.7 oz bottle. The bottle is clear, with "MCM" written across the front. However the fragrance is a sort of burnt orange colour, similar to apple juice. It is applied with a typical spray top- which by the way is gold.I must admit the packaging isn't to my taste at all...Similar to Tommy girl, it reminds me of a 'I love America' logo...which ofcourse,I wouldn't know if I do,as I have never been.
Anyway, back to the product, and what the fragrance actually smells like. When first applied, the fragrance is a strong floral smell...infact it's almost intoxicating. This had initially put me off, however within two hours of applying the fragrance the notes became much more lighter and fruity.By this time, the floral notes had almost disappeared completely, and you're left with tangy fruity notes. This lasts throughout the day,and eventually becomes more musky(but very mild)
Overall the fragrance is a decent one,but I wouldn't pay over £15 for it.For me,I honestly can't understand what all the rage and rarity is about. It is I believe only available to purchase online, and I can vouch for it as I had myself done the same.I have purchased another one since my first and use it every once in a while,(purely because I love collecting fragrances...) but I just don't understand why it's considered so wonderful, when it doesn't have any distinguished notes or uniqueness about it.
I give it three stars.
