I think this was the first scent of this brand because it has only the name Miss Sixty - fragrance of excess. The other scents are: Miss Sixty Elixir, Miss Sixty Rock Muse Miss and Miss Sixty. I got this fragrance as a present and thought it looks very good and promising.
Provocative, innovative and sexy ... those are the keywords that apply to this odor. It's a sweet smell. A scent fragrance consists of three layers which for this fragrance are:
Top: A fresh and distinctive scent: the scent of rhubarb.
Heart: Mixture of exotic flowers and powder of the mineral heliotrope.
Basics: The scent of amber and rosewood.
When I applied this fragrance I noticed a really strong sweet smell and for me it was all a bit too strong and too sweet. After about fifteen minutes the smell really settled down and became less stronger but still very sweet. I think after about a couple of hours the smell began to disappear and became a lot less strong. I think the scent itself is quite nice but overall just too strong for me.
The fragrance comes in a nice vintage look package and bottle. The bottle has a oval shape and has a shiny purple color. It looks very trendy and young which I think suits the fragrance.
Overall it's a too sweet scent that seems very strong. Luckily it does settle down a bit after about 15 minutes but still remains very sweet. After a couple of hours it became a lot less and hardly noticeable which I don't think is really good when you actually like the scent. I think it should have lasted longer but I was quite happy the smell was good. I wouldn't buy this again because for me it's all too sweet.
This is a true summer scent: floral, pretty and attractive.
I first wore this perfume in Lanzarote, and since then it has acted as a reminder of the brilliant holiday I had. It is a perfume for a hot day and smells good under the sun. I wouldn't recommend this as a Christmas present or winter scent.
The bottle is nice and summary too, with a mixed sunset colour scheme and the words 'Miss Sixty' carved into the glass bottle give it a modern edge. However, the lid is pretty useless and I've had a couple of spillages in my vanity case due to the lid falling off. Also, I think you definitely pay for the packaging, as there isn't a lot of the product itself.
Although the smell is nice and fresh, it doesn't linger for long, within around 2 - 3 hours the smell as worn off and has to be re-applied.
I think that this perfume is a nice fresh one; I wouldn't rave about it as it isn't one of my personal favourites. Also the smell isn't really one that stands out, there are many other perfumes which smell similar. But I'd rate it as a good summer choice.
I have been a fan of Miss Sixty's quirky and sassy style so when I heard about the perfume I thought i'd give it a try.
The scent is quite strong and fruity which could maybe be overpowing if too much is worn but overall very nice.
It fades a bit quickly but tends to last alittle longer when applied to clothing, it lasts around an hour on your pulse points and two hours on your clothing. I would wear this during both the day and evening although probably not to go clubbing or to a party.
It comes in a trendy looking bottle a mixture of pink and reds, with the words 'Miss Sixty' in a Gold Bling style written across the bottle, and unusual type of clip on clip of spray top protector.
Overall I would recommend this fragrance to you because it is one that I wear all the time and probably wouldn't change now. I am very satisfied with this scent. I think it is worth trying.
When i heard that the italian branch miss sixty was adding perfumes to its unique quirky range i was delighted. Straight to boots i was to have my test spray, secretly waning it to be great so i could add to my collection, and it didnt let me down. I was however worried though when i saw the box it seemed a little plain for miss sixy too modest, its a red/purple square box with Miss sixty written on the front in the top left hand corner, but then the botlle is totally miss sixty. The main botlle is like a rectangle with rounded corners and has the same red/purple tones through it. Again the signature miss sixty is engraved in the top left hand corner, but my favorite aspect of it is the lid its really funky its the same shape as the main bottle but its like hollow so you can see the button to push,it sounds complicated but when you see it youll understand what im trying to explain. Moving on to the scent the main scents are rhubarb and redcurrent, with some undertones of amber and hellitrope. This fragrance for me is a mixture of sensual, floral and exciting. Its like a big burst of flavours that i have to say work quit well together. Although i would say dont wear it day-night or put too much on because it can be quite strong for some, prices range from around £10-15 for a 30ml to around £40 for a 75ml. So if you want a nice sensual smell try miss sixty
Miss Sixty Eau De Toilette Spray
I do love my perfumes and I think my friends and family are pleased that I am so easy to buy for at birthdays and Christmas. I often like most perfumes and find that each fragrance has a particular time of the year or time of the day where it is suited to. I do of course have my favourites and this Miss Sixty perfume is one of them.
I have used up I would say at least 2 or 3 bottles of this stuff since it came out about 3 years ago. This means I must use quite a lot because I have such a wide variety in the bathroom and these Miss Sixty bottles hold a fair bit of the perfume.
I am mostly bought perfumes from people and dont end up having to pay anything for them and I think this bottle is no different. I know that you would be looking at paying between £20 and £20 for a standard size bottle of this particular perfume but of course depending on where you choose to buy your perfumes from the price can vary quite a lot. I know that Boots always has such a wide range but this can be one of the more expensive places to purchase fragrances from. Over the Internet is of course a lot cheaper as you can search for the cheapest one that is on line. I do however know a lot of people who wont buy perfumes anywhere but from abroad when they go on their holidays and often take a spare empty holdall just to carry all the duty free!!
The bottle that houses this perfume is rather unique in design and one that I dont think has been used before. I dont really like the design of the bottle particularly but this has really no affect on the use of the spray. The lid is not a great design and to me looks a little cheap. The bottle is rather dumpy to not really any chance of knocking it over accidentally, thank god as I have broken a few bottles in my time that way. The bright pink colour that the bottle is made up from really is a bit garish and not perhaps the best choice by Miss Sixty. Seeing as though the labels from Miss Sixty are red I would have thought a nice red coloured bottle would be more appealing,
Ok so this bottle of Perfume from Miss Sixty is a great fresh smelling fragrance that has some underlying spices hidden in the depth of the aroma. The fragrance is really pleasant and one of those smells that can be worn at any time of the year and day or night. It is an all-round fragrance that I think would suit most people, as it is neither a too young smell nor a too strong one.
The colour of the liquid perfume inside the bottle is visible through the glass and you can see it is deep amber in colour and to me this does not work well being able to see this against the bright pink of the bottle design. However this is irrelevant to me as I am merely interested in the aroma of the perfume as that of course is what it is all about. Miss Sixty really do have a hit with this fragrance as I think it can really appeal to most people.
The brand Miss Sixty have been around for a good few years now and I think this fragrance is an excellent addition to their range. The smell is so pleasant and light that you I dont think it could offend or turn anyone against it. I would say that they may want to redesign the bottle but they need to keep the fragrance the same if they do this. I have seen it as a tester in Boots if you want to go in and have a sniff iw oudl recommend it to one and all.
In 1991 Energie was born it was the first women swear line brought out by Miss Sixty it was popular right from the start & became well known almost straight away. Miss Sixty is made especially for young girls who like to customise their look or just look that bit different from other girls & it sells well because it has that edge that attracts even the likes of Victoria Beckham. I wonder who will be attracted to the new perfume as I certainly was.
Miss Sixty is a well known Italian Designer label aimed at the younger woman it is famous for it's quirky unique fashionable clothes, shoes, swimwear, bags, sunglasses & now perfume! The main price bracket they work from is £30 to about £200 so I think the perfume they have brought out is very competitive & a total bargain for all those followers of Miss Sixty.
Miss Sixty perfume is aimed at being exuberant, provocative, innovative & sexy. I think they have excelled themselves as per usual. You'll have to let me know what you think once you have read this review.
The first impression of the box you think it is quite boring & I suppose it is really because when you look at Miss Sixty clothing you think the perfume would be quite jazzy but the box is not very interesting it is a pinky plum sort of colour with a picture of a light purple box on the front with miss sixty wrote diagonally on the left hand corner of the box. It also states at the bottom the amount you have brought & that it is an eau de toilette scent. Both sides are just plain & then the back just has a diagram which looks quite technical & I didn't even realise it is the exact size of the bottle inside, it is almost like they really didn't know what to put on the box so they have gone for the sophisticated minimal look. The bottom has the barcode on & a list of the ingredients. The lid is also plain & when you open it you get a burst of light the inner box is bright orange it all looks very trendy & fresh.
The clear bottle is really nice it is young & very trendy the bottle is like a compressed ball it is rounded & squared at the same time which may sound a bit strange but when you look at it you will know what I mean the sides are rounded but the top & bottom are straight lines. The front of the bottle has MISS SIXTY engraved on the left hand side of the bottle like on the box. The back is the same colour as the box & has Miss Sixty printed on the back to look like the back of the writing on the front. The lid is very simple but unique it is made from a piece of perspecs that is the same colour also of the box, which looks as though it has been bent into a circle & squashed. It's not an enclosed lid like most perfumes so it gives the design that little bit more edge.
THE LOVELY AROMA
When I first tested this out in boots I thought it was a bit strong & I was a bit unsure about it but when I got this from my boyfriend for my birthday I realised how nice it was. It is not like the usual perfumes I have as I usually go for the really sweet scents but this one is a lot fruitier & I think it works well. It smells very fresh when on. It's like a blend of rhubarb & a tangy vanilla smell it works great & smells simply divine. I think it really suits the 18-30 market it is quite strong but not over powering it is perfect for wearing on your wrists I think it may give you a headache if you wore it on your neck but most perfumes give me a headache if I spray them on my neck. I can quite honestly say I don't think this perfume is lacking anything the smell is perfect I think they have come up with a very good combination.
WHEN DO YOU WEAR THIS?
When I first had this perfume I wore it in the day sprayed some in the morning & then sprayed a bit in the evening as it was sooo nice. It lasts for about 3 hours, which is about an average these days. I noticed the perfume was going down a bit so just lately I have been saving it for when I go out a night & I appreciate it a lot more its like a treat it smells that nice & have realised it was probably a bit too strong for wearing throughout the day. The perfume now lasts longer & only gets brought out at the weekend.
The average amount you can probably get a bottle of Miss Sixty in the shops for is about:
£19.50 for a 30ML bottle
£26.00 for a 50ML bottle
£32.00 for a 75ML bottle
If you are after a bargain though & don't mind shopping around I am sure you will be able to find something a bit cheaper online, or you could wait till your next holiday & pick a bottle up on duty free.
I think the price is quite good its not what I would call cheap its probably about average.
I got mine as a present but my boyfriend brought it from Boots you can also get it at any big department store like Rackhams, Debenhams & House of Fraser.
You can usually get a good bargain online on websites such as
I really love the smell of this perfume I think it is quite unique to the market although as soon as I brought it me & my sister both said it smelt like Amor Amor, which is also a gorgeous smelling perfume. I suppose you think hay hold on a minute your contradicting yourself there! But I think the Miss Sixty is not as sweet as Amor Amor & it probably doesn't last quite as long, & I don't feel they are on the same market yes they are both perfumes but Miss Sixty is part of a multi brand such as Diesel & Lacoste or Jlo & Curious by Britney Spears. Amor Amor is from Cacharel, which is famous for its cosmetics only. I think people don't really take perfumes like this one as serious as others because people feel they are just brought out to make the label or star even more famous, but I think it's time people did take them more serious because they smell good & are definitely a thing for the future.
I would give this perfume a 9/10 it is simply divine, very fresh & very trendy
