Morgan Love de Toi Eau de Toilette
Advantages: smells nice - sweet and fruity, long lasting
Disadvantages: aimed at younger girls, bottle is nothing special
I received Morgan Love perfume a few years ago as a gift from my sister.
The fragrance was first released back in 2004.
~ Appearance ~
The perfume comes in a pink glass bottle, which is curvy and resembles a woman's body. The bottle has a light pink coloured butterfly towards the bottom of the front of the bottle.
The top of the bottle is made from plastic and you simply press down on the top of the bottle and the perfume is released from a little nozzle at the front of the bottle.
I think the bottle is nice enough, but it is nothing too special and it seems to be aimed at a younger target market - younger women and teens.
It is quite handy that the bottle does not have a lid because you don't have the opportunity to lose it and it is less fiddly as well.
~ Price ~
The perfume retails at around £20.00 for a 60ml bottle, which is pretty cheap for a perfume, but this does seem to be aimed at younger women and teenagers.
~ Scent ~
The perfume is very sweet.
It combines top notes of orange, pink pepper, mandarin orange, green apple and raspberry, heart notes of tiare flower, gardenia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, rose and red apple and base notes of sandalwood, musk and cherry.
I find the perfume very fresh and fruity. Raspberry is the first scent I can detect in it and it does have a light floral edge to it as well. It is a nice perfume.
I think it would be best suited to younger women and teenagers due to how light and sweet it is.
It is definitely a perfume that I would choose for day time wear, rather than for nights out or special occasions as it is light and I tend to wear something a bit heavier when I am going out.
I have found this perfume to be long lasting, still evident around 8 hours after application.
It is a nice scent and although it is very sweet, it is not sickly at all and I have never found it overpowering even when I have sprayed it a few times.
~ Conclusion ~
I think this is a nice perfume. It is fresh, fruity, sweet and light and I have been impressed with its longevity.
The bottle is nice enough, but it is nothing too special and I think both the bottle and the scent seem to be aimed at younger women.
My bottle is almost empty now and although I like the scent and I have enjoyed using this perfume, I do not plan on replacing this perfume once I have finished it because I think it is aimed at younger women and I couldn't justify paying £20.00 for a bottle of this as it is a bit of an inbetweener perfume. It is cheap for a perfume, but it is not the cheapest as a perfume aimed at the younger women or teens.
