Disadvantages: Doesn't have much staying power
My sister in law loves going to the Next sale so one thing I am often certain of for gifts is something she has picked up on one of these forays. She also knows I love perfume so often she buys me several of their perfumes for me to try. One of her latest buys for my birthday was Just Pink.

Next frequently change the format of the boxes I think but the box I received was a clear fronted box with the perfume bottle visible and a pink backing to the box. The bottle itself is clear the 100ml eau de toilette that I have is slightly curved towards the top with a squashed octagonal top. The rear of the bottle has embossed on it various pretty pink flowers that give the bottle a lovely pink tinge to it. Whilst the bottle is not something special like a Marc Jacobs bottle it is not ugly either and in a lot of ways sums up the perfume as it is light and girly but not anything special or out of the ordinary. The atomizer works well on all the bottles that I have had and gives a lovely fine mist of a spray that is easy to direct.

Despite a few Internet searches I can't actually find any perfume notes on this fragrance to tell me what I should be looking out for in the scent. Next market Just Pink as a green fresh floral. However depending on the day and the weather I can pick up any of the following:
Mandarin, freesia and peach, lily of the valley, rose, jasmine and wild orchid.
Generally on first spritz of the fragrance what I do notice is a bit of a harsh alcohol smell. But this soon disperses and the main scent that I am left with is freesia. Now this is one of my favorite flowers so much so I had some in my wedding bouquet so this always brings pleasant and happy memoirs to my mind when I smell this scent at the beginning. This seems then to mingle with the peach notes to give it a fruity edge to it. This isn't so fruity that you smell like fruit salad though but more of a peach Bellini cocktail scent. As these dry down within about 15-30 minutes I then notice a more lily of the valley scent that is seems to be completed by the orchid notes. This to me reminds me of walking around hot houses in country estates with all the orchids on display and this I actually find to be quite an intoxicating and sensual smell that I think lifts this scent from being merely pleasant to a nice layering of scents. On really hot days I will also notice the jasmine and this to me a nice light scent rather than a heavy jasmine like Yankee Candles Midnight Jasmine candles. The scent is quiet delicate and not over powering in any way.
The longevity of this perfume I find is the bit that actually lets this scent down as I fail to notice any lingering perfume notes after around 4 hours and need to reapply this then. Now whether this is due to the essences used in this perfume being of a cheaper and inferior quality to some of the designer scents I like such as Chanel and L'Occitane I don't know but it is a scent I find that needs to be reapplied during the day.
This scent with its light notes I think is a good perfume for the day and hot summer days as it isn't too over powering and is a good work day scent when you want something nice but that isn't going to overwhelm you colleagues.
I think this perfume is in a lot of ways trying to be Next's version of Ralph Laurens romance and whilst I personally notices a lot of similarities I don't think this scent has the same degree of lasting abilities as Romance does and nor does Romance have the alcohol smell at the beginning.

This is a lovely fresh scent that I would recommend for summer days and the office when you want something nice and light. The freesia and peach notes complement one another well and the mixture of the lily and orchid as the middle notes gives this fragrance a romantic and sensual style. At around £10 for a 75 ml bottle this is a perfume that can be splashed around with girly abandon with out to much worry about the pennies. Its only drawback is its lack of staying power but due to the price I don't mind reapplying this in the day.
Summary: A lovely light summery fragrance with lots of pleasant notes just a shame it doesn't linger longer
