Nina Ricci: L'Air du temps, Eau de Toilette

I was given this perfume as a present and at first was disappointed as I am usually a fan of more 'sexy' perfumes such as chanel. This perfume seems to have gained a reputation as an 'old lady' perfume, but it has soon become my favourite, and I'm in my 20s. I find that it is a perfume that smells much better when on the skin than it does out of the bottle. It is fresh and perfect to wear all day, and the scent does last for the entire day, but without being overpowering. I love expensive perfumes and over the years have managed to acquire a good selection having been bought them for Christmas and birthdays by generous family members. I quite often remember people by the smell of their perfume or aftershave and, although Dior and Chanel definately have their place, this eau de toilette by Nina Ricci is my all-time favourite! The packaging is quite striking as it is yellow and white with birds on it. The size I like is 50ml/1.7 oz - and the cost is around £20 - but DO check the 'cut-price' shops like Quality Save where they often have it on promotion?
