Advantages: Smells great to me

Disadvantages: Smells different on different people

This was given to me for Christmas. I knew the name, I knew it was expensive, so I doused myself in it excitedly.

For a couple of seconds I hesitated to inhale, as it suddenly occurred to me that I might not like this perfume and I was drenched in it.

Tentatively I took a gentle sniff. I was delighted with the aroma. It smells posh. I cannot really define what 'posh' smells like, except to say that this is definately it!

A heady mixture of orchid swirled with a hint of sandalwood, a dash of freesia and the teeniest smidge of spice, just a few grains of ginger.

If this makes 'Nina' sound overly flowery then I do it a disservice. It is difficult to define. I think it is definately a 'love it or hate it' perfume, so I would recommend you test drive this perfume before you buy it. Walk around the store for half an hour to let the scent adjust to your bodies own chemicals, this is certainly a scent that will differ on people, once it has settled.

I would not think of this as a young womans perfume but then, alas, I am no longer as young as I was!

I asked my friend how she could be sure I would like this gift and she told me that she had been wearing it once when I raved on about it. Weird thing is that this smells completely different on her to my olfactory senses, so I was lucky it settled down to a smell I liked!

I can recommend only that you try this out, it really is the kind of perfume you have to try on for yourself to get the measure of it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Only one problem, now I smell like a million dollars, who is going to buy me the get-up to LOOK like a million? (Could be expensive!)(might involve a facelift).
