rightly or wrongly, the first thing that attracted me to this perfume was the unusual bottle. Nina Ricci bottles are normally unusual and, like the scent, just that little bit different to the norm. I love the way this stacked cylinder looks on my bedside table.
In terms of the scent, i'd been using the jean-paul gaultier Femme scent over a summer but found it too cloying and after a few hours of wear would begin to turn slightly off. so, it was time for a new scent.
this is a light scent, it has elements that are similar to the JPG perfume - this is a feminine scent but unlike the JPG, it is quite a grown up smell. that doesn't mean it smells of Tweed or Fenjal, it's grown up in a twentysomething knows her on mind sort of way.
There is a slight floral scent, without being too heavy, and i'm sure a taste of bergamot in there. the perfume lasts without lingering or cloying, and is a fresh and spring/summer scent.
i have many compliments on this perfume in the two years i have been wearing it. love it.
