	Nina Ricci: Nina, Eau de Toilette ... a year ago now I went looking (smelling?) around for a new perfume. I d been using up all the others I was given and found a lot of them to be quite heavy and to be honest, quite suffocating. I trawled round Boots until I couldn t smell anything properly, nothing seemed quite right. That was until I tried Nina, by Nina Ricci. I am always drawn to perfumes initially by the bottle, and it is a gorgeous bottle. Obviously an apple shape, but the silver coloured leaf, atomiser and lid are a nice touch, it looks classy rather than tacky. The fragrance itself is lovely and feminine. 	Nina Ricci: Nina, Eau de Toilette ... Nina Ricci fashion house was founded way back in 1932 and although Nina had worked in the business for a number of years by the time her own label was launched Nina was just over fifty years old. Nina lived a long life and died in 1970 at the grand age of 87. I have just been reading a few facts about her perfumes and one of them really caught my eye, Nina has one very famous perfume called L`Air Du Temps and the glass bottle was designed by Marc Lalique. I am sure that we have all seen the Lalique glassware being shown on the antique programmes and have been astonished at how collectable their work is. 	Nina Ricci: Deci Dela, Eau de Toilette ... Ricci: Deci Dela is a sweet success. The packaging consists of an orange/red rectangular box, with gold wide love hearts, and the bottle is slightly cylindrical made from purple frosted glass which also has the gold wide love hearts on. Then a thick gold love heart acts as the lid. The fragrance contains the following notes: melon, raspberry, apricot, cedar wood, oak moss and hazelnut. When sprayed you immediately get this sweet smell but throughout the day it mellows out and becomes more earthy and the woody scents start to emerge.
