Advantages: Gorgeous smell, pretty bottle

Disadvantages: Costs a fair bit, but so does every perfume

After hours (literally hours) of walking around Fenwick's perfume department, armed with about a hundred of those little bits of card they give you to spray the perfume on (which all smelt worryingly similar), I was worn to a-ravelling and was ready to either pick one almost at random or give up and go home but then suddenly I found it. This absolute diamond in the rough that was different from every other perfume in that damned place. For one thing, the bottle is gorgeous. A lovely shape and a beautiful deep purpley colour, I loved it the moment I saw it, and wanted it atop my dressing table where I could bask in it's loveliness. But it was the smell that really captivated me - modern and yet somehow classic - it was floral without being old-ladyish and fruity without it being too overt. I gazed at it longing and rewarded my boyfriend with 1000 kisses when he produced it for my birthday a few months later. It is the most lovely scent. So if you're planning a trip to your local hell-hole.. sorry, perfume department, then I urge you to give this little beauty a try.
