Paco Rabanne: Black XS, Eau de Toilette

I have just come back from a few days away in Jersey. While I was there, I thought I'd take a look at the duty free fragrances at a perfumerie shop in St. Helier. Initially, the choice seemed truly mind-boggling and I didn't know where to start, but with the help of a kind shop assistant, I eventually found some fragrances I liked. I first experienced this fragrance several months ago and it was so good that I remembered that I wanted it until I was asked this christmas (by my girlfriend's mother) what fragrance I would like as a present. This fragrance is a sophisticated blend of citrus fruits and woody spices. I typically only buy Hugo Boss fragrances because most other fragrances for men too often smell cheap or overpowering to me. I bought my partner this as a surprise gift, after we both fell in love with mine, and we were not dissapointed! It is a sexy, sensual, woody fragarence which totally suits him!! This is probably my favourite scent on a man, everytime he wears it I swoon, so fellas if you want to go on the pull, wear this! I am not totally sure if anyone will agree with me, but i think it smells of strawberries and patchouli, delicious! The bottle is simple but sexy, with a slight gothic look.. definately a hit! This is without a doubt one of the best men's fragrances that is currently out on the market despite it now being quite old (2005). I generally tend to sample a variety of different fragrances and have never had so many comments from females (and males) regarding a fragrance before. While Black XS is masculine it would not be jarring to women. Black XS has a warm scent with enough spice and sweetness to ensure a masculine reference. i bought this for my partner at christmas time and havent needed to replace it yet and he uses it everyday. the packaging was good easy to use and very eye catching thats what first drew us to the product. the fragance itself its not too strong and just enough smell to notice you are wearing something. its a nice fruity smell. the product itself lasts a very long time my partner uses it everyday and he still has a quater of a bottle left. its available to buy nearly everywhere so ts easy to get hold of. there are many sizes to choose from and all are reasonably priced we choose to buy the larger bottle as it worked out more money sense. also even after a whole day of ...  Read the complete review
