The Paco Rabanne Lady Million Eau de Parfum is available for GBP 37.50. The scent is available in 30 ml, 50 ml and 80 ml sprays.
The Eau de Parfum was launched in 2010.
The Eau de Parfum comes in a golden, diamond-shaped flacon. On the flacon is a golden imprint. The flacon contains
The Eau de Parfum is described as follows. "Ultra-feminine, glamorous and excessive. The Lady Million woman embodies the ideal woman. No man can resist her and the best won't ever be enough for her! Presented in a golden diamond shaped bottle, the Lady Million fragrance is vibrant and sensual. It has fresh top notes of bitter orange, fleshy raspberry and neroli, followed by floral notes of orange blossom and Arabian jasmine and base notes of patchouli, honey and amber."
The Eau de Parfum is a fresh, intensive fragrance with a flowery scent. The fruity scent of raspberry can be noticed, that blends into a flowery scent. The flowery scent reminds of gardenia and citrus fruits. Followed by a scent that reminds of patchouli and white honey. The main accords are floral and sweet. The intensity is heavy, but not too overpowering.
The top notes are bitter orange, raspberry and neroli. Followed by the middle notes orange blossom, jasmine and gardenia. The base note consists of patchouli, honey and amber.
The Eau de Parfum is long-lasting.
I can recommend the Paco Rabanne Lady Million Eau de Parfum, as it is a flowery, intensive scent. The scent is long-lasting and the main accords are white floral and sweet.
Having always loved the mens version of this fragrance, I was very excited when the ladies version was finally released and I have to say I was not disappointed in the slightest.
This fragrance is sweet but not sickly, feminine but not old fashioned and floral but not over bearing.
I bought this on offer at £38 for 50ml with a free body lotion. I never tend to use the body lotion, but I couldn't get enought of this.
Althought the price may seem steep, this fragrance really does last on the skin. I only ever had to top up once a day, so the bottle lasted a good few months.
So many people complimented me and asked me what fragrance I was wearing.
The only downside is the shape of the bottle. Although it looks amazing on your dressing table, I found it to be too bulky to carry with me in my handbag, and having only small hands, I really struggled to spray this on me.
I would say that this is the perfect gift to buy someone, who you don't really know what fragrance to get them. It covers many different genres of fragrance, so its perfect for lots of people.
A friend of mine brought this perfume back from the states about a year ago and used to wear if a lot when out and it I really liked it. During October/November/December Boots regularly do fragrance offers and I was lucky this was included in one weeks promotion so I took the plunge and brought my own.
This is available is toilette and parfume. I purchased the parfume at 50ml which is normally £49.50 is Boots however they had it on offer at £31 which was the cheapest price I have seen it at. It is available on Amazon for around £36 (depending on seller), Superdrug for £49 and Debenhams for £49.50. Boots do offers on perfume throughout the year as well as at Xmas so its worth checking in there and on boots.com to see what offers they have first. This is also available is 30ml and 80ml however the 80ml is always on the shelves so if you want to buy 80ml which retails for around £65 then I would advise looking online. I have also seen various gift sets with shower gel and other items in it but again its best to check what is available to you or online.
Lady Million is the female version of 1 million which is for males. Both are in gold packaging with the writing in white and black, its simple yet effective and because its gold I think it stands out quite well. The bottle for the men's perfume is in the shape of a gold bullion but the woman's is slightly smaller looking and is in the shaped a bit like a diamond or other jewel. The scent sprays out using the top of the jewel, the colour is goldy, yellow so fits in with the gold packaging.
I am a massive fan of sweet fragrances and so this for me fits in well with the rest of my fragrance range. It has lovely floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine coupled together with fruity raspberry and honey to give it that extra sweet kick. The scent itself settles well on the skin and I use about 4/5 sprays of it and the smell of it lasts a long time. Its not to overpowering despite being a sweet perfume its refreshing without being sickly or too strong.
Who it would suit
I would say this suits all who like sweet fragrances. The advertising that I have seen go with it would indicate their target market is for those under 30 but don't let that put you off, its by no means cheap and so anybody who receives this and likes sweet perfumes will like it regardless of age.
I like this fragrance, it is part of a range I have and I tend to use this at weekends when going out. Price wise it is on the more expensive side but if you buy it on offer I would say its good value and it does last a long time. This would make a good gift for a young female friend or relative and would recommend it to those who like sweet perfumes like myself.
Not a secret to my friends and family that I adore my smellies. So naturally at Christmas and birthday's I tend to get some fragrances. Pretty much hit and miss if I like them!
Paco Rabanne - Lady Million
'Brilliant, Glamorous, Femme Fatale, Excessive... she is the one who leads the game. She embodies the ideal woman, the best won't ever be enough for her!'
As I have said I do like my fragrances but I normally go for fruity ones or something spicy. I have never been overly keen on strong floral scented items. So sadly this is a scent that I am not so keen on and have only used this a couple of times when I have been around the person who bought it for me!
Heart notes - Neroli, Orange flower, Arabian Jasmine
Top notes - Bitter orange, Fleshy raspberry
Base notes - Honey, Vibrant patchouli
Reading the notes within this perfume I would have thought I would have liked it, however it is ok but just too floral for my liking. I didn't smell this first before applying I just sprayed away and wow was it over powering to the point where I stood outside for it to fade!
At first it reminded me of Estee Lauder Beautiful a fragrance I really can not stand. However, saying that it does settle down and becomes a little sweeter and a bit more manageable for me. I personally think the jasmine stands out so much at first it is like walking into a florist and landing into a bucket of over scented flowers!
I really just can not get along with this fragrance but my mom whom is a floral lover has taken a liking to this. So this will now end up in her collection and really as my mom is mid-fifties it really is more suited to that age bracket.
No so good for me but the longevity of this perfume is extremely good and will last you pretty much the whole day. Good news for the floral folk, if the orange and raspberry where stronger within this product I would have more than likely enjoyed using it.
It is in a slightly unique bottle kind of like a diamond shape with a golden coloured lid. Rather fancy looking, the lid comes off with ease to show the spray applicator. The spray certainly covers well, I haven't had any issue with staining my clothes or any irritation to my skin.
Price and Availability:
This was a Christmas gift for me so luckily I didn't pay for it. Prices are around as follows -
30ml - £35.50
50ml - £44.50
80ml - £64.50
You can also get gift sets containing shower gel and body wash.
Sadly this really is not for me, but would be loved by people that enjoy floral aromas. The bottle looks nice but that I guess is as far as it goes for me.
One out of five from me!
Thank you for reading.
I know Paco Rabanne through their amazing smelling men's aftershave! Although I had never tried Paco Rabanne for myself, my partner bought me this perfume last year for Christmas. I loved the perfume as soon as I first smelt it. I have looked at the price since and found its relatively priced and for around £35 I would buy it again.
This is not a scent I would wear in the daytime. I would wear it to a bar or club. Its got quite a deep, "heavy" smell and lasts a long time once applied. To me, the smell instantly screams night out. I could not imagine wearing this to work as the smell is quite intense. I prefer a more subtle fragrance in the daytime. I also feel this is quite a young perfume aimed towards under 28's. Definitely something me or my sister would wear, but certainly not my mother.
The bottle is aesthetically pleasing, its bright and flashy and looks very bling! However the bottle is quite chunky and pretty heavy so its not ideal for carrying around in your bag
The price is reasonable, I feel and the perfume does last a long time. The one negative is that it has become pretty common and so if you walk around a club, its going to be pretty certain you're not the only one smelling this good.
Paco Rabanne fragrances have been a long time favorite of mine, and Lady Million is no exception. This perfume is delicate enough to remain feminine but powerful enough to not be classed as "girly". It is a good choice for a businesswoman who wants to smell professional but not to over empowering. It is advertised as having raspberry and orange notes, my nose has never been one for selecting individual scents, but I am quite difficult to please when it comes to perfumes, and this one does not disappoint. The perfume comes in a funky modern bottle shaped like a diamond, it looks lovely sitting on my dresser, and the spray mechanism is easy to use and delivers just the right amount of perfume, eliminating the need to spray multiple times and wasting it. I like the shape of the bottle mostly because there are hardly any other perfume bottles on the market shaped like it.
I use this perfume during the day at work, I do not wear it going out in the evening. My friends who also wear this scent agree with me, its a great day perfume but not special enough to wear on a night out.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being awesome) ... I rate Paco Rabbane Lady Million as an 8. Smells lovely, cool bottle, I feel confident and attractive when I am wearing it and it is reasonably priced for a designer perfume :)
~ Paco Rabanne - Lady Million ~
In my brief experience in using Lady Million I have to say that I not a massive fan, it certainly would not become my preferred choice of perfume but I do like it in an odd way!
I first tried this in a friends how before an impromptu night out where I simply didn't have any of my own stuff with me. She had been bought it by my mother in law for Christmas and had previously only used it once as she thought it was a little too strong for her, so bearing that in mind I used it sparingly. I sprayed my neck once and my wrist with a quick spritz and I liked it but didn't like it at the same time. However it was already on me then so I went out and soon forgot all about it.
Anyway, I ordered a free sample vial from Boots and it arrived just the other morning, not really remembering much about the scent the last time I tried it, other than it being strong I sprayed one quick squirt onto my wrist and dabbed my wrists together lightly.
It was a strong scent but I felt its quite a glamourous, sexy and feminine scent. I could handle the one squirt but any more and I think it would have become to heady for me and it would have made me feel queasy!
The notes for those interested are ~
Top Notes ~ Bitter Orange, Fleshy Raspberry and Neroli.
Heart Notes ~ Orange Blossom and Arabian Jasmine.
Base Notes ~ Patchouli, Honey and Amber.
The raspberry is what I can smell when I sniff my wrist, this quickly becomes more floral and warm scented. I think this is a more mature scent as apposed to the sweeter lighter scents that are seemingly more popular these days.
I think this has a more expensive, classic scent about it.
I have to say I am in two minds with the bottle. On one hand I think it's quite funky and different but on the other I think it looks quite tacky! From my limited experice when I did use the bottle I found it a bit to clunky and useless if I am honest.
I do like this, used sparingly and for special occassions but it's not a scent I could wear on a daily basis as it's just too intense for me. If you are looking for something different to the usual though, I would definately recommend that you try this one.
I would look around for a good offer on this however Boots have it priced at ~
30ml - £35
50ml - £47.50
80ml - £63.50
Thanks for reading :o) x
A kind soul purchased this for me as a Christmas gift. After my husband wearing Paco Rabanne Million for men for a long time, I was intrigued by the ladies version and found after several sniffs that I quite liked it. I am reviewing the 30ml fragrance, it also comes in 50ml and 80ml sizes.
It is a very very difficult fragrance to describe. Firstly you need to know it is a strong perfume, in the same league as a Jean Paul Gaultier or Gucci. I find two sprays is absolutely adequate of these expensive and strong perfumes as they can be very overpowering.
The official party line describes the perfume as having "fresh top notes of bitter orange, fleshy raspberry and neroli, followed by floral notes of orange blossom and Arabian jasmine and base notes of patchouli, honey and amber.
If anyone else can detect how it smells from that description I salute you. When it first sprays on it definitely gets up my nose a bit and smells quite fruity and punchy. I find I prefer it after an hour or so when the top notes have settled down and I would describe it as quite musky (even though that isn't in the official description). I don't like flowery Old Auntie Maud type perfumes so don't be put off by the "floral" description as it is definitely more fruity than floral. It smells like quite a modern perfume and although I wear it in the day, it is probably more suited to an evening perfume (although truly, who has a perfume reserved for special occasions??).
I personally like the scent more once it has settled down. I have had people say how nice I smell and ask what perfume it is. The more I use it the less I can seem to smell it on myself but this is typical of all perfumes which is why I like to have two on the go!
==Packaging and Design==
The packaging is a gold box (as per the picture). Inside you find a bottle of perfume which looks like it has been cut into the shape of a multi-faceted diamond and has a "gold" lid. The bottle is quite an iconic perfume bottle if you go in for that sort of thing. Personally I couldn't care less about the packaging and would have preferred it not to be made of glass! It isn't very transportable because it is made of glass and is not ideal for taking on holiday. I think it is quite heavy because of the glass even in the 30ml bottle.
I realise most perfumes are in glass bottles but my travel size Armani She is perfect for holiday and not made of glass - wish more companies would do this!
I have found a slight problem with the nozzle that sprays the perfume which I suspect is confined to my perfume only and that is that it sprays only once a day then refuses to spray any more. If I had the receipt I would take it back, but I guess it is helping me ration it!
==Value for money==
In terms of value for money, the 30ml is around £35 which is probably quite typical for a branded perfume. Due to the "one spray per day" policy which seems to have been enforced, it is happily lasting quite a while and as I mentioned earlier, I don't need to use more than two sprays (even if I could!) as the smell is very strong. I think it is quite good value for money compared to other perfumes which you can douse yourself in and still not be able to smell.
I think this is a nice, good quality modern-smelling perfume. I would definitely buy it again and make sure the squirty nozzle worked properly (minus one star due to that fault).
All the male guys in my family always have since i remember and always will use Pac Rabanne One million male version.
I then wanted to invest in the female version which i was told was just as good!
To start with the packaging for this is amazing. I got it as a gift and the first thing i saw was the amazing gold shiney packaging. It looks classy and expensive (not that it is cheap!) I then opened it and the bottle is even more amazing. Its like a lilttle dimond. I have the 80ml bottle so you can tajke the llid off (I advise you not to lose this lid, im not sure if i was using to much or someone was stealing it from me, but it seemed to go down very quickly!!)
I think this perfume is fairly expensive, but at the same time its a great make and an excellent smelling perfume and lasts well.
It comes in the following sizes and price ranges from the ever popular perfume distributor the Perfume Shop:-
30ml Bottle - £32.99
50ml Bottle - £45.99
80ml Bottle - £59.99
Smell - Sweet and ever lasting!
One of my favourite perfumes and i think i will always use it!!
My partner has for many years been an avid user of the male Million fragrance, and so decided to buy me the female version for Christmas. Not wanting to be outdone by the male version of this fragrance which has a lovely sweet masculine smell I was keen to see whether the female version was as good.
The Packaging ~
Whilst I do not believe that the packaging should be used to compensate for the quality of the product, it is a definite selling point when buying perfume. This product comes packaged in a beautiful gold box which has a shiny surface and is illustrated simply with the scrolled letters Lady Million by Paco Rabanne in white and black text.
The lid unflaps to reveal the perfume bottle nestled inside the box like a glittering jewel. Unlike the male version of the bottle which is a plain rather rectangular gold bottle, the female perfume bottle is multi faceted being half made of glass and the other of a metallic gold finish, and looks rather similar in shape to that of a cut diamond. The shiny gold top houses the perfume spritzer with the letters Lady Million engraved into the surface and this lettering also serves as the pump to squirt the perfume out of the bottle.
Inside the perfume is a rich amber colour making the entire presentation of this product very bling and completely appropriate of its' name 'Lady Million'.
The Perfume ~
The smell of this perfume is alike no other and completely stands out in a crowded room. Paco Rabanne describe this product as containing a floral and woody fragrance rich, with orange blossom, jasmine, patchouli, honey and amber. In my experience when first sprayed the scent smells highly floral and the jasmine and orange blossom are definitely the stronger smells, however over the course of a day this floral fragrance does mellow leaving a rich sweet honey scent which lingers on the skin. In my opinion this perfume doe provide quite a strong and heady smell which is more defined than a number of lighter and sweeter fragrances.
Unlike a number of other perfumes on the market the scent of this perfume does stay with you throughout the course of the day and does not wear off. Indeed, as I write I put my perfume on first thing this morning and the smell is still as strong now as it was when I left the house.
Price and Availability ~
I was given an 80ml bottle of Lay Million as a Christmas gift as previously mentioned, however I have done some research and have found that it comes in the following sizes and price ranges from the ever popular perfume distributor the Perfume Shop:-
30ml Bottle - £32.99
50ml Bottle - £45.99
80ml Bottle - £59.99
This perfume can also be bought from a number of other perfume retailers including Boots and Superdrug.
My Experience ~
I must admit to loving this perfume from both the presentation of the product to the smell within. The packaging is very glamorous and yet quality looking at the same time and the bottle strongly stands out from my crowded dressing room table. The fragrance is strong and yet quite sexy which in my opinion suits users of both young and more mature ages. Additionally, the smell has great staying power and lingers all day meaning that a little of the perfume goes a long way.
The great thing about this perfume is that it comes in three standard sized bottles which although slightly more expensive than other brands mean that you can buy the smallest of the three and still have a great looking perfume bottle.
To surmise, I would definitely recommend this perfume both as a treat or as a gift idea and feel that the smell entirely lives up to the attractive packaging. I would thus score it five stars out of five.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review!!
I had read reviews on here that this perfume is a deffinate must have so i decided to treat myself and get some and i have not been let down. i paid £34.00 for 30ml so it is on the more expensive side of perfume costs but it is deffinatly worth splashing out on. i got the 30ml bottle as i wasnt sure if i would wear it but i will be investing in a 100ml bottle when this one runs out. The packaging is very elegant and the bottle is a great statement for a dressing table as it is gold and looks very feminine. This is a perfume suitable for young adults right up to elderly ladies as it is fresh and elegant smelling. It has quite a sweet floral smell and is very long lasting so worth the money. After spraying in the morning it will still be on late afternoon so great for a long day or night out.
Perfume, like most other things, is something I have quite a large collection of. A recent addition to that collection was the Lady Million fragrance by Paco Rabanne. It caught my eye through an advertisement, as I was aware of the mens version which has a very strong and masculine scent to it and I love it. I knew that if this was anything like it then I would probably have to buy it! It was produced for the purpose of a 'his and hers' fragrance with One Million, the mens fragrance which was released just over a year earlier and the scents compliment each other really well.
--- PACKAGING ---
The packaging which this fragrance comes in is certainly eye catching. It is predominantly gold, starting with the box. It is shaped like a cube and looks relatively plain in terms of design. The name of the fragrance is printed on the front in white and black which contrasts well to the gold background. Underneath that is a pretty logo/pattern that looks quite elegant, followed by the brand name and 'eau de toilette'.
Once I had opened the box I was quite surprised with the bottle design, having only smelt it on a tester in a shop and not seen the bottle itself. It is shaped like a diamond (no doubt to link in with the fragrance name!) and is transparent so you can see the perfume inside which is also a gold colour. The lid is a solid gold colour that looks very stylish and has Lady Million written on the top. When the lid is removed you are left with a normal fragrance style dispenser which guess what, is also gold! The aesthetics are definitely very original and I think Paco Rabanne took a bit of a risk with it as it could've back fired and been classed as cheap looking, but in fact I think it is quite the opposite. It looks great on my dressing table and really stands out against other fragrance bottles.
--- PRICING AND AVAILABILITY ---
You can expect the price to vary from place to place, but I shopped around before purchasing and found everywhere to be quite expensive when compared to what I normally pay for a fragrance. The price also varies depending upon the size of bottle you want but see the following prices as an average guide. A 30ml bottle at £32.99, a 50ml bottle at £45.99 and an 80ml bottle at £54.99. So as you can see the prices do get quite steep but you get what you pay for which a well known and reputable brand such as Paco Rabanne. You can find this fragrance in all typical stockists including Boots, Superdrug and the Perfume Shop, including many online retailers too. Everywhere that I have looked for it has stocked it and I think this is due to how heavily advertised it was upon its release - in every magazine I looked in there was an advert for it! As the fragrance is quite expensive, it might be worth looking at eBay or discounted online beauty websites for a bit of a bargain.
--- THE FRAGRANCE ITSELF ---
When I initially smelt Lady Million on a tester I was hooked. The smell is really unusual and in fact quite the opposite of what I was expecting. The heart notes are neroli, orange flower and arabian jasmine which are all quite different but combine together to create a really unique scent. The top notes are bitter orange and fleshy raspberry. While orange seems to pop up a lot in the description of notes, the actual fragrance doesn't smell at all like citrus in any way like you might imagine but you can smell it faintly, however it definitely wouldn't have been the first word that popped into my head to describe the smell. The overall scent is described as floral which I sort of think is about right but the smell is so unusual that its hard to put your finger on it. There is a hint of floral in there somewhere that lingers, but it is a strong floral or summery type of scent. The smell is actually quite deep as appose to being light and bouncy and I have found the strength of the smell lingers on the skin really well.
--- OVERALL ---
I absolutely love this fragrance. It is really difficult to explain the scent so I would definitely advise you to pop into Boots or a local perfume retailer to give it a try. I think it would be hard not to like it to be honest as it really is a lovely smell. It is a strong scent that definitely smells expensive (its all in the name!) and I have had numerous comments from friends asking me what perfume I am wearing. It is one of those that follows you and stays in the room after you have left to get people thinking! I was really pleased with how long the scent lingered for as it wasn't a quick fix like many of my other perfumes are it actually lasted and the scent remained strong and fresh for a few hours. In saying that, I purchased the 30ml bottle so its small enough for me to carry around in my handbag for a re spray after a while! 5 Dooyoo stars - a real beauty favourite!
The Paco Rabanne men's fragrance has been flying off the shelves for months and due to the popularity I picked up a bottle for my boyfriend we both loved it. The smell of the men's fragrance was very unique and masculine that we immediately understood why so many people had snapped it up.
It was a friend of mine who initially drew my attention to the fact that a Paco Rabanne fragrance was being released for females and immediately I knew I had to have it despite not buying many fragrances personally for myself in the past I decided to treat myself.
The bottle of the Paco Rabanne: Lady Million is unique and spectacular in itself. It comes in a gold shiny box which is elegant and expensive looking. Inside the bottle is like a small diamond shape which again looks expensive and is very different from other perfume bottles. The bottle is also gold and it says 'Lady Million' on the top of the bottle. It is very minimal but for such a simple idea ad design it is very effective and attractive.
I couldn't wait to use the fragrance and was intrigued to see if it would smell anything like it's male counterpart. It did yet the fragrance still screamed femininity and glamour. The heart notes are Neroli, Orange flower, Arabian Jasmine. The top notes are bitter orange, fleshy raspberry. With the base notes being Honey, Vibrant patchouli. The overall scent of this perfume is quite floral but at the same time being modern and fresh.
Unlike many other fragrances that I own the scent does linger on the body and doesn't wear off easily. Due to the compact nature of the bottle I tend to carry it with me so that I can top the scent up. I have received so many compliments on my choice of fragrance that many of my other friends have bought it too and now we end up going out all smelling the same!
I paid 33.99 for 30ml of Lady Million, the perfume didn't last me very long and despite loving the fragrance I think I will wait until Christmas or a birthday to renew my stock of this fragrance as it is a lot of money for such a small amount of fragrance.
Before this product was introduced my top male fragrance was Paco Rabanne: One Million, I would always buy it for my boyfriend because I just loved the scent it is so musky and sexy compared to others. So when this female version was released I just could not wait to get my hands on it!! I was so hyped up about this product, and it did not let me down!
Firstly, the packaging itself is gorgeous, it's in a gold shiny bottle in an irregular shape. It looks great on my dressing room table. The price of the product is about average for high end perfume and ranges from about £35 - £55 depending on what size you buy and where.
The smell itself is so enticeing with a musky scent. It has a lovely feminine smell, but there are hints of the male fragrance in there (which is great!). I get so many compliments when wearing the fragrance and it is one of the few perfumes which seems to last on my skin all day. It is perfect for both night and day, summer and winter, I absolutely love it and wear it so much!
Definitely one of my top beauty products!
This Eau de Parfum is aptly named! You have to try and buy this! The first time I saw this promoted, the Sales Assistant had run out of the tester - she said "you have got to try it to believe it"! After a few months, I managed to test it - to my absolute joy, I realised what the Sales Assistant menat by her words - it is absolutely magnificant! I feel like A MILLION BUCKS when I wear this! Truly captivating and an absolute joy to wear. People have stopped me in the street and when I have been out with my partner when I wear this! They have commented on the sexy fragrance. One gentleman said - "I need to buy this for my wife!!! An awesome gift for a truly special woman in you life! My partner has worm this also - women have been surprised when he has told them the name! Enjoy it! Love it!! Own it!!!
Paco Rabanne Lady Million; is an excessive perfume that embodies the ideal woman. Paco Rabanne Lady Million is a sparkling floral that expresses this excessive personality. Paco Rabanne Lady Million begins with sweet orange, fleshy raspbery and crystal mint over a beautiful heart of orange flower, peony sorbet and jasmine and a seductive, close and sensual base of cashmeran, vanilla and vibrant patchouli.
