The paco rabanne homme fragrance is one I like for anytime. I have a bottle of this that I have had for about 2 years now and it still smells good. The bottle is close to the last few drops but it still smells as good as it did when I first got it. I think that shows this is a good fragrance that is made to last well. I like the bottle with its bottle green look and I think the shape is good as well. The lid twists off and my bottle is easy to use and feels solid and strong. The box that you get the fragrance in is smart and continues the dark green theme well. I like the whole look and think its very classic. The fragrance can be 50mls or 100mls and my last bottle was the 100ml sized one. I think it lasted very well as it has been in use for 2 years on and off. The fragrance can be bought for about £19.99 for the 50ml bottle when it is on offer. The larger bottle can be £38, but I think thats ok because it lasts for a long time. I like the spicy green aroma I get from the fragrance. I think paco rabanne man is confident warm and spicy. I have had a lot of good comments about this when I wear it. I have worn paco rabanne homme day or night and it has smelled as good each time. I think it can be a versatile aroma for a confident man to wear. I like the green aromatic aroma and I think it lasts very well on me because I can smell it for many hours. I think the fragrance is very aromatic and I like the spicy feel it gives me. The flowery bits in the fragrance are good and the lavender in the fragrance mixes well with the herbs used in this. There is rosemary, thyme, tarragon and these work well with the lemon aroma I get when I smell this on my skin. The fragrance gets softer over a few hours and the musk in it goes a bit smoother and leaves a kind os smokey aroma. I think this is a good fragrance that I can wear with ease and I would recommend it as it has a classic smell that is very after shave like and masculine.
This was my first aftershave, and I got it as a Christmas present. The initial impression of this aftershave is that it's very soapy - the smell reminds you of the barbershop, but in a good way. The top notes of this fragrance are very herbal, and include rosemary and sage. Smells very fresh and definitely suits anytime of the year. This then dies down into a very floral lavender smell - the floral element smells like geranium, but I'm not quite sure if that is actually what it is. The drydown smells of musk, with hints of moss and honey. They don't sound like a god combination, but trust me, it smells good and they go well together. The honey isn't too sweet and can be smelt in small traces throughout the life of the scent, but it comes into its own in the drydown, and contributes to one of the best drydowns of a fragrance that I have ever smelt - it really does end with a bang! Where this can be worn depends really on the age of the person - for an older person (probably late 40s to 60s), this scent can be worn anywhere, but for a younger person (around the 20s) it's best kept to a professional setting where it projects an air of sophistication and classiness. Overall a very good fragrance and a classic, but the soapiness is a bit of a Marmite affair - you either love it or hate it, there is no middle ground, so if you don't like soapy smells, this is one to avoid.
