Just me EDP - 50 mls around 19.99 on line
I'm not a massive fan of celebrity perfumes and also not a massive fan of Paris Hilton. However this perfume is actually one of my favourites.
I often used to buy perfume at a local department store in Plymouth as there was an awesome sales woman who would jam my bag with samples of other perfumes - so I may have been paying a little more than I would if I shopped round but I would get to try other scents for nothing. (She really was soooo lovely).
This lady knew me well enough to know when to stop my spraying myself with a perfume, and when to offer me a card. She also knew me well enough to remove the card backing of this scent before giving it to me. She said I'd be back to find out the name.
Now to me, the scent if fruity, and floral, and according to the wondrous web the perfume smells of a mix of berries, florals and aromatic herbs.
juicy red berries
There are mild hints of vanilla, which in this just seem to make it that little bit sexy.
Now she was tight I did go back to find out what they perfume was, and when I found out it was a Paris Hilton scent I was gutted. I was too much of a snob to actually buy it, but the saleswoman did give me another sample.
The packaging got me. The little card booklet that the sample was on had a little spiel written by Paris Hilton (well her very talented PR person anyway).
When someone asks you on a hot summers evening what they delightful sexy scent is - you can look at them with a coy little smile, and say it's 'just me'.... (Please forgive me the terrible mis quote).
My guilty little secret is that at 29 I am still a fan, and have a bottle of this on my dressing table -
(But I do take it out of the box as soon as I get home)...
I like this scent but it reminds me of another scent that I can't quite put my finger on!
The scent comes in a tall cylinder bottle that's pink in colour. The perfume is described as a fruity floral but it smells too musky for me to put it into that category. The perfume contains a whole range of notes that are meant to compliment each other but I still think it's the weakest scent that Paris has come up with. However, the perfume is still lovely. It has fantastic staying power. It hangs around for absolutely ages, some days I go without having to top it up. I would see my 50ml bottle lasting me years as i've had it for three years already and there's still around 40% of it left. Fear not though, you can still buy this instore and online.
I would say it's the weakest scent as it all seems a little "thrown together", note wise. It's hard to describe and i'm pretty sure that i've smelt something VERY similar in the shops.
I would say that the perfume would suit older women better as it smells too mature for the younger generation to wear. It goes on smelling quite strong and feminine. It then settles into a more musky scent and it remains that way for the rest of the day (or night). I would recommend using it as more of an evening scent, although you wouldn't feel out of place wearing it during the day. I just think it's more of an evening scent but that's my opinion.
Worth a try.
This perfume has a nice youthful scent that is very light and not overpowering. I first bought it when it was newly released in 2005 and i still buy it now. Paris came up with the idea of this perfume with a quirky name in mind and wanted people to be able to say when asked what fragrance they are wearing "It's Just Me" which i think is very different.
The scent itself smells like raspberries and lillies, it is definetely a girly fragrance. I also found that the scent didn't wear off easily it lasted on me quite a long time which is great. I've seen this fragrance in a couple of different types of bottle, one is just a plain pink bottle but more recently a cute little heart shaped one has been released. I personally think it's equally important for a bottle of perfume to look nice as well as smell nice as it simply makes it more exciting and appealing, it's all about the whole package!
This perfume is incredibly affordable too and comes in many different sizes with 30ml being the smallest and 100ml the largest. You can get the 100ml bottle for as little as £20 and i think some stores also sell the gift sets. I would reccomend this perfume mostly for a younger person and i think it can be worn day or night.
I had promised myself that I wouldnt start writing my fragrance reviews again until they went back up to the top tier but Ive surprised myself because I actually miss writing them! So I thought Id try and get back into it today by writing a review on a perfume that I use literally all the time - 'Paris Hilton - Just Me'. A friend of mine introduced me to this about 5 years ago now and Ive been buying and using it pretty much ever since because for me this is the ultimate 'everyday' kind of scent that I can wear in any weather to any occasion and it seems to fit. While Im not a fan of Paris her perfume is one of my all time favourites although everyone will definitely NOT agree - this one is an acquired taste I reckon.
Price: 30ml bottle - Around £20
Stockists: Amazon, Boots, Superdrug & The Perfume Shop.
Other Info: Also available in 50 & 100ml bottle sizes. You can buy this in either the heart shaped bottle (which is the one I personally own) or in a proper pink and clear glass bottle - they are the same price though so its a matter of personal choice on the bottle.
As I mentioned previously there are 2 bottle designs for this scent one is an oridnary glass bottle and the other - like in the image with this review - is a heart which is the one I own and therefore the one I will be concentrating on in this review. So the bottle for this perfume I think is one of the nicest I own as is it bright pink and silver in colour and in the shape of a quite weighty heart. At the top of the heart is the push down nozzle which obviously doesnt have a lid on it because of the shape - I havent found that to be a problem though as when I put it in my handbag it has never leaked or sprayed out by itself so it really isnt a major flaw. Also because of the shape of the bottle it cant be displayed stading alone - the box it comes in has a padded part to display the perfume so I dont think its a problem - although some people might be annoyed because if you wish to display this properly you will have to keep the whole box. The overall design does have some flaws but the cute shape and girly colours win it for me - a very cute, girly bottle that will appeal to everyones feminine side I think.
Im totally rubbish when it comes to describing individual notes in a perfume but after some digging around the net I found the main notes in this fragrance are as follows:
Top Notes: Violet, Raspberry, Apple & Chilli (?!)
Middle Notes: Orris, Freesia, White Rose, Ylang Ylang & Lily Of The Valley
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla & Woods.
The Chilli element really did surprise me but the rest I imagined would be in there somewhere. Looking at them one would assume that this is a mainly fruity offering with some interesting base notes and a floral heart. That is exactly what this perfume is in all fairness - exactly what you would expect.
The Raspberry + Apple are definitely the strongest scents straight off the bat and throughout the whole time you are wearing this making it a mainly fruity perfume which is right up my street personally. When it begins to die down slightly the floral heart notes do start to come through slightly - mainly the Rose & Freesia scents but they remain background notes throughout - they are noticable but the fruitier scents are much stronger and sweeter so it still remains a mainly fruity offering. After about an hour of wearing this the base notes - particularly the Vanilla & Musk start to warm the overall scent right up and somehow make it even sweeter yet give it a different tone.
The Chilli should not even be classed as an ingredient in my opinion because I cannot smell it at all and there are no spicy tones to this scent AT ALL! So dont worry about it smelling too spicy because it doesnt at all. This is simply a fruity, sweet offering and nothing else - even though the base notes do warm it up slightly the scent overall still remains fresh and light more than anything else. If your not a fan of fruity/sweet fragrances stay the hell away from this one because it doesnt offer much more than that - I love it for that reason but I know many people wont.
My one issue with the perfume because the staying power really isnt great. It tends to last on my skin for around 2-3 hours which is way below average in my experience and means I do have to apply this quite a lot over the day - perfumes do tend to react differntly to peoples skins though so on another person this might last all day. But for me staying power is not great.
I definitely would recommend this fragrance to teen's up to about mid 20's I think anyone older than that would not like this one at all. My mom HATES this perfume and she always says she doesnt know how I wear it without getting a headache so for older women Id suggest looking elsewhere.
Day Or Night? Summer Or Winter?:
100% a day perfume - there is no way this would be strong enough for me to wear at night unless it was in the Summer - I have been known to wear this at night in summertime but I still prefer something a bit heavier and muskier for nightwear. And Id recommend this as a Spring/Summer scent I think it is slightly too sweet for wearing in the cold weather even Ive given it up for a bit until the warmer months.
I definitely recommend this to people around my age but I would also recommend to try before you buy because this will not be everyones cuppa tea! Well done Paris I love it!
Thanks For Reading.

Love her or hate her..shes famous!
Paris Hilton is the great-grandaughter of Conrad Hilton aka founder of Hilton Hotels. Initially making herself known as an American socialite, Paris has turned her hand to erm..movies, singing, television shows and also doing what celebrities do best..releasing a range of perfumes.
Paris Hilton collaborated with Parlux fragrances to initially release one perfume. High demand pushed the company to release a further 5 ladies perfumes endorsed by Miss Hilton and also some matching aftershaves.
The first perfume aptly named Paris Hilton was released in 2004. Further additions include Just Me, Heiress, Can Can, Fairy Dust and Siren.
Just Me was the released in 2005 and is the second addition to the Paris Hilton perfume range. Its tagline is "What are you wearing?...It's Just Me!" well I won't comment on that one! The perfume is in Eau de Parfum form and an aftershave is also available for the men who wish to be known to sport Paris Hilton.
To compliment the perfume, the Just Me fragrance has been infused into a body lotion and shower gel. By using all products together, a layer of fragrance can be built up on the skin and helps to prolong the overall lasting fragrance.
Just Me is described as being glamorous, youthful. A bit like Paris then?
Just Me has been created using a selection of fragrance notes. Each set of notes carries through stages on the skin and the scent will change as time goes on.
*The top notes open up the scent and are shortlived - raspberry, bergamot, pink pepper and powdery violet create the initial scent.
*The middle notes create the main body of the scent and often last for several hours. Just Me offers a floral combination of lily of the valley, iris, freesia, white rose and ylang-ylang.
*The base notes leave the final scent on the skin. Tahitian vanilla, Egyptian sandalwood, musk and a woody accord finish off Paris ahem, I mean Just Me perfectly.
Paris has kept the design of Just Me simple yet girly and pretty. A tall, cylindrical glass bottle is tinted with a strong, bright pink colour at the base and gradually goes transparent further up the bottle. The lid is clear around the edges with a pink top and houses the silver dispenser. Around the neck of the bottle, a silver ring sits with the perfume name and Paris Hilton prominent yet not overbearing.
Paris opts to put her image on the box. She stands poised to attention wearing a gorgeous red dress which compliments are frame beautifully. She stands amidst some flowers drawing attention to the florals included within her perfume. The box is colourful yet just enough to be attractive and noticeable.
**Availability and Price**
Just Me is available in many online outlets in various sizes. As well as a bottle, the perfume is occasionally available in a non transparent, heart shaped bottle. Current prices :
100ml + 200ml lotion £33.88
200ml lotion £7.90
50ml + 90ml lotion £14.99
So..Paris Hilton? Well although I am not the biggest fan of the high pitched socialite, she can be quite entertaining. What's more entertaining is her perfect ending in House of Wax but that's a different review altogether! You all know by now that I adore my perfumes and have an evergrowing collection. I love to receive perfume as a gift and whilst expensive perfumes are lovely, I find that cheaper perfumes aka celebrity perfumes are very much to my tastes.
Just Me is the 3rd perfume I have owned that is endorsed by Paris Hilton (after Paris Hilton and Heiress). I first tried it when my sister had a bottle last year and didn't really take to it. For my birthday this year, I received a 100ml bottle from a family member who had clearly been at the Boots clearance when these were on offer (as was my Mum who gave a bottle to my sister). I decided to give Miss Hilton another chance and the 100ml bottle still has around 20ml left so you can tell right away its not one of my favourites as I go through a lot of perfume!
The bottle I very much like as its not in your face Paris and does the job nicely. It is however a bit chunky, even the smaller sizes so not one to carry about in a tiny handbag. Spraying the perfume out proves easy and a large but light and airy puff of perfume is dispensed freely on my wrists and neck area.
The first scent I can pick up is slightly sweet freshness and delicately spicy. It isn't overwhelming nor is it so subtle that there isn't much to your senses pondering on. The raspberry is slightly evident and lets off a sour scent. The spicy element is quite pleasant but the scent is unusually fresh at the same time. My skin feels quite cool and refreshed after applying this and I feel this is reflected in the scent.
The floral notes seep through gradually and are quite strong and elegant. The combination of floral notes used to create the body of Just Me works well and is noticeable but doesn't make you sneeze. The freesia is most prominent in my opinion and this is a fresh yet slightly sultry scent that I find works well with other florals to create an airy and pleasant scent. The initial floral scent is powerful yet it gradually dies down and becomes quite close to the skin for around 3-4hours before the base sweeps in and takes over.
Ahh my favourite base notes are evident here but with a slight twist. Its unusual for perfumes to shy away from the vanilla, musk and sandalwood base and Just Me is no exception. It does have something different about it. The vanilla is deliciously sweet and dessert like, perhaps a tad too sweet for most but for me it was the right amount. The sandalwood and musk create a warming and sensual blend which balances out the added sweetness of the vanilla. The vanilla comes through first and is gradually blended with the other base notes to provide a delicate scent which is rather sexy and romantic.
Just Me finally disappears from my skin around 5hours after application which isn' very good for an EDP but for the price, I cannot begrudge this aspect. When I am wearing Just Me, I first of all feel refreshed and girly and by the time the base notes seep through, my thoughts change and I feel more grown up and relaxed. As a result of my mood changing to reflect the notes, I like to wear this early evening when I am most lively and with it finally settling later at night when I want to relax with hubby,
Just Me has grown on me though I don't find it as nice as the original Paris Hilton or Heiress. I love girly and statement setting perfumes that ooze in playful and fruity notes and Just Me just doesn't cut it on this ground. It is a perfume I wear if I fancy something a bit different but once my bottle is finished, I am unlikely to purchase this again.
Different perfumes suit different skin types due to the way the body oils work. Whilst I would state that Just Me is a young. mature perfume, I would always recommend testing before purchasing. On ebay, a seller offers a lot of Paris Hilton sample vials allowing you to test before you buy. For £3.45 plus £1.50 p&p, you will receive 9 x 1.52ml vials (5x original Paris Hilton, 2x Just Me and 2x Can Can) and I thoroughly recommend purchasing.
Thanks for reading!
Another day, another Paris Hilton Perfume. Perhaps I will take a break from the brand soon, but I may as well write about what I know and like especially when it is on the higher rate. Not too keen about the name of this Perfume. It doesn't exactly tell you much about it, and it seems a bit of a cop out name. What does Just Me actually mean? Yes, i'm not sure either.
I bought this one my self which is a change from getting it as a present. I sniffed this in my local branch of Boots a while ago, liked the scent of it, so bought it online and saved a bit money. I got the 50ml bottle of this for £14, which I thought was an ok price. After recently looking online apparently this can cost anything up to £25, but I wouldn't say it is worth all that. £14 is probably about right.
This comes in a rectangular white box with pink merging through from the bottom to the top. It is quite a thin and slimline bottle which makes it look larger than the 50ml, but then again when you see the width of the box then you will know the bottle is quite skinny. The bottle looks like Lacoste Touch of Pink. A circular shaped bottle which is a medium pink colour. It looks alright. Not expensive certainly, but that bit cheaper and girly.
So onto the important part, how does this smell? It is nice. Quite a simple smelling Perfume, but nice with it anyway. I think this is more aimed at teenage wearer, and apparently this was designer for the young, sexy social girl. The notes in here are Raspberry, Sandalwood, Vanilla, White Rose, Iris and oddly enough Lily of the Valley. I wouldn't have thought of Lily of the valley as a younger scent, as it reminds me of an older scent, but it isn't that strong a scent of it, so it may just be a dash of it deep within the fragrance. The Raspberry and Vanilla go together well, and I like the fresh fruity scent with the sweeter part mixed through.
The perfect kind of scent if you like light, and fruity scent with a bit of a heavier twist.

JUST ME is tricky to describe scent wise; the scent notes are blended very well, so it isn't easy to seperate them.
The strongest note for me is the pink peppercorn - sharp and tangy. It contrasts nicely with the softly sweet floral notes of freesia, rose and violet, so no individual note overpowers me. The woody base wasn't very noticable to me; the fresh musk took over the base.
I couldn't detect any of the fruit notes.

Raspberries, Bergamont, Pink Peppercorn, Violet, Lily of the Valley, Iris, Freesia Petals, White Rose, Climbing Ylang Ylang, Tahitian Vanilla, Egyptian Sandalwood, Multifaceted Skin Musk and Blonde Woods Accord.

The standard bottles are the same shape as Paris' self named fragrance and, like that release, the main colour used is pink.
There was a special issue 30ml bottle that was shaped like a heart and coloured a metallic pink. It may still be available on Ebay and some online retailers.

JUST ME is very easy to wear. It's not too sweet, not too fruity & it's not too floral - all of the notes are blended very well. So there won't be any headaches or sickness with this one.
It can be worn anywhere during the day; work, shopping or lunch. For evening wear look elsewhere; 'Just Me' is a bit too casual.
The staying power is average; You'll need to refresh it every 3 hours or so.

While I did enjoy The contrast between the tangy peppercorn and the sweet florals and recieved compliments from other people when I wore it, I wasn't wowed.
There was no life to this and I found it too safe. Someone stole my bottle from my work drawer, so it must appeal to others, but I prefer my fragrances to have louder scent notes [LOL: Does that make sense?], so I've never gotten around to replacing it.

Just Me has been discontinued, so it's hard to find on the high street, but it is still widely available online. It's sold in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles, and costs between £10 to £20.
Reason For Using:
I never really thought I would ever be using any perfume by Paris Hilton in my life time and was very surprised when I received a bottle of it from her "Just Me" range for Christmas from my best friend. I have nothing personal against Paris Hilton either, but I really thought her products where aimed at younger teenaged girls so was quite curious as to why my friend had chosen a perfume by her, to give to me as a gift. I am in my late thirties and this fragrance would of been something I would of picked out for my teenaged daughters to wear. My friend also knows that I am not too keen on celebrity fragrances either because they really do not wear well or last in strength very long on my skin.
Well I had never tried or even smelt the "Just Me" perfume before, but was very keen to give it a whiff on Christmas morning, so I opened up the packaging and bottle straight away to try it out. I have tried out Paris's perfume before though, as my daughter had received "Heiress" for her Birthday, but it is not one I would personally wear myself. On first impressions of smelling "Just Me" I thought it was a very similar fragrance to Lancôme's "Miracle" perfume which I quite like really, so was very surprised indeed with "Just Me". I have also read many mixed reviews on the" Just Me" perfume by Paris Hilton so I thought I would review this fragrance myself and give my own personal opinion of what I honestly think about it.
A Little Bit About Paris Hiltons Perfume Range:
Paris Hilton launched her first perfume 'which is actually named "Paris Hilton" in 2004. It was quite popular at the time and seems to have sold well. She has to date, six perfumes under her name and a few men's fragrances also (although I do not think I would buy my Husband any of them for obvious reasons). Paris won the "Celebrity Perfume Of The Year" with her "Heiress" perfume range (despite being crowned "Worst Celebrity Role Model" of 2006). Well it looks like her fragrances will be around for a while also as they do seem to sell quite well and are popular with the younger girls. Most reviews are actually good ones about her products though 'to my surprise'. Paris's " Just Me" perfume range was launched in 2005 and although I have read mixed reviews about this particular fragrance, the majority of them are actually quite good ones.
Gift Box Of The "Just Me" Perfume:
The gift box that the "Just Me" perfume comes in actually is quite nice in my opinion. It is a metallic pink and silver gift box with the words "Just Me" printed in a deeper shade of pink on the front of it and it has all the information you really need to know about this perfume clearly printed on there also. All of the ingredients included in this perfume are clearly stated on the back of the gift box, which is useful I find. The gift box also comes with an outer removable sleeve, that fits over the gift box and it looks very nice also. This outer sleeve is finished in black, has a picture of Paris Hilton herself posing in a beautiful red dress and she is looking very elegant indeed. I personally think it is a nice touch that's been added to this gift box as it makes it look quite expensive, but it was quite an initial shock being handed a Paris Hilton product with her photograph on it as I certainly would never have chosen it myself.
Well overall I really think it is a nice girly gift box that this perfume comes in and it certainly looks good enough to hand to a friend as a gift in also. The outer sleeve can be completely removed though and it could be handed to a friend in the pink and silver gift box that's underneath it so that Paris Hilton's photograph is not the first thing your friend sees when unwrapping it, as it could be off putting for some people who do not like her.
A Little Quote From The Back Of The Gift Box Reads:
This fragrance turns heads. You will be asked, "What are you wearing?" With a smile you reply, "It's "Just Me!" By Paris Hilton. Read on to see if I agree with this.
The Perfume Bottle:
On first seeing the "Just Me" perfume bottle I was very surprised that it was very bight pink in colour. From first seeing the gift box, I thought the bottle would have been either clear or silver in colour. It really is a very similar looking bottle to the "Lacoste Pink" perfume that my daughter uses. All my daughters are pink mad, but I have to admit that I am not a pink person really (well not bright pink) and thought the bottle looked slightly cheap, but it certainly will be loved by younger teenaged girls. I guess it is stylish though and with the times, but a nice clear, or lighter pink in shade bottle would of suited me better. That's just my own personal opinion though.
Well the "Just me" perfume bottle is slim and is a long cylinder shaped one that's mostly pink in colour. It is made of glass and you can actually see the perfume inside (which is good) as it lets me know how much I have left in there. It is quite plain in design really, but has a nice shiny silver band around the lid with the words "Just Me" by Paris Hilton printed onto it. The band and spray pump are made of metal and are not plastic like a lot of perfumes are, so it is quite well finished in my opinion. The perfume bottle has a small clear plastic lid that pops on and off easily enough, but is coloured bright pink on the top of it to compliment the colour of the bottle I guess.
The spray pump on the "Just Me" perfume bottle works very well in my opinion and is easy enough to press down. It really lets out the perfect amount of perfume in just one spray that I like, as some perfume sprays can sometimes let out too much liquid and overpowers me with their scent at times. The perfume itself is clear in colour 'which I rather prefer in a perfume also", as some amber coloured ones have stained my clothes in the past.
Well overall the "Just Me" perfume bottle is ok in my opinion. It is probably my least favourite perfume bottle I have owned though. My daughters think it is beautiful... (because it is bright pink and modern I guess) but I think it looks slightly cheap even though it is finished in metal and glass. The bottle of the "Just Me" perfume that I received is 50ml in size, is slim in design and fits well into my handbag also. The only downside to this perfume bottle really is that it is 'bright pink', but that is just my personal opinion and I am sure some girls will love it though.
The Fragrance Itself:
I really was pleasantly surprised when I first tried out the "Just Me" perfume. I really did not know what to expect with it at all and thought it might be sweet in scent for some strange reason. Well on first trying it out on my wrist I really was very pleased with it, as on first whiff of it seconds later, I really could smell a pink pepper type of smell which I really love in a perfume. I used to be a fan of Lancôme's "Miracle" fragrance and this perfume 'to me' really was very similar indeed. In fact you would find it hard to tell the two apart in my opinion. I honestly was surprised I liked this fragrance from first smelling it on Christmas day as I rarely like celebrity perfumes at all. I also noticed very quickly that "Just Me" was a lot stronger in fragrance to most celebrity perfumes that I have tried before. It certainly was not overpowering or sweet though. I really was extremely pleased and surprised with this "Just Me" perfume.
Well after wearing this fragrance for around half an hour I really could start to smell a slightly sweeter, berry type of smell from it, a bit like raspberries, but I could also smell a musky floral smell in there also. I really did not think of this perfume as being too sweet either. I think the combination of everything included really blended well to reveal a very sophisticated aroma that I was still loving after a few hours of wearing it. I really think this is a lovely warm oriental, fruity, floral and musky fragrance that is combined very cleverly indeed.
Lily Of The Valley.
After around six hours of wearing "Just Me" I really could smell the musky base notes that this fragrance contains from my skin. I love musky smells and am very surprised that it really comes through well in this perfume and after some time from first applying it." Just Me" really will gradually take you through all of it's notes in one day and really is a pleasure wearing it. It certainly makes me feel fresh and good about myself when wearing it also.
Longevity And Strength Of Just Me:
I have honestly tried out a lot of celebrity perfumes in the last few years and have never bought a second bottle of any of them. Some do smell ok I admit, but it is the strength and non-longevity of them that stops me re-buying any of them. I find them all either too sweet, too mild in scent of they completely fade to nothing after just an hour of wearing them. Well "Just Me" is the first celebrity perfume 'that I have used' that can be smelt after one hour of wearing it and this smell can honestly be smelt the very next day from your skin also. It really is not overpowering though on first applying it and it totally surprised me I have to admit.
Just Me is classed as a daytime fragrance by the actual manufacture, as it is light and fresh, but I honestly have wore it in the evenings going out over Christmas myself, as to me it is suited this way also. If you do not like overpowering and heady perfumes like me, "Just Me" might well be for you because not only does it smell sophisticated in scent, but it can be smelt by others and it will last all night long. It really is the best perfume longevity wise in the celebrity range that I have used and there has been many I have tried.
I actually put on "Just Me" last night after showering and 15 hours later, sitting here writing this review, I can still smell the base notes from my wrist. It really lasts very well and it is not often you will find a perfume that will these days.
Just Me in my own opinion is aimed at the younger market (well I got that impression from it) especially because of the bright pink bottle it comes in, but I honestly think women of all ages would be very happy wearing this feel good fragrance. It is a young, modern, yet sophisticated perfume to me and should be tried out by everyone. It certainly is worth checking it out for yourself to see what I mean.
I also wore "Just Me" to a party at my Mothers house on Boxing night and my eldest daughter, my Mother and her friend all asked me what I was wearing. They all thought "Just Me" was really lovely and said they where getting some of it for themselves. Now I am smiling to myself as I read that quote I wrote earlier above that is printed on the gift box. Yes it will get you noticed and complimented on. Well it certainly has when I am wearing it. My hubby seems to like this fragrance and has complimented on it so I guess that is very important also.
My Overall Opinion:
Well, when I was out shopping a few months ago I would not have given Paris Hiltons perfumes a second glance because I thought they would not last very well like all the other celebrity ones I have tried before. My friend also phoned me on Christmas day and I thanked her for buying me this perfume. I also asked her why she had chosen it? Her reply was "I know you like the Miracle perfume, so when I smelt this from a friend and seen it for half the price of Miracle, I thought it would make a good gift for you for Christmas". She really is a cheap skate, but I can honestly see her point. If you like the Miracle perfume then you certainly will like "Just Me".
The gift box to "Just Me" is a nice looking one really, but I was quite disappointed with the perfume bottle. This is only my personal opinion about it though and I know a lot of younger girls who are into bright pink things in a big way will absolutely love it. I just feel the bottle is a little too young for me really and a little bit cheap looking. I will have to admit in liking the "Just Me" perfume a lot though. I honestly cannot believe the beautiful warm scent "Just Me" has though and how it lasts in strength so long. I certainly will be replacing this bottle when it is done as "Just So" is now up there in my top five fragrance list.
This fragrance (although it can be smelt from afar) is light, flowery, but not in an old fragrance way and is one that I often take a deep smell of when I am wearing it. I really do love it and am very pleased with this perfume overall. My youngest daughter also seems to love this perfume as I found it in her bedroom yesterday. I have now hidden it from her as she would use the bottle in a week, but I will buy her some for herself as it really is very reasonably priced indeed.
I really will highly recommend the fragrance of the "Just Me" perfume to others. You will either love it or loathe it, but it is one to check out as it lasts in fragrance strength extremely well. I will award it 4/5 stars as I can now see why Paris Hiltons perfumes have won "Celebrity Perfume Of The Year". I am deducting a star for the bright pink bottle that looks cheap to me and is sort of embarrassing to carry around in my handbag, but this perfume is by far one of the best celebrity fragrances I have yet to try. Well done Paris. I certainly will be checking out a few others in her range now, but hopefully the bottles will look better though. A big thumbs up and a very pleasant surprise. Honestly, give it a try. You might really like it also.
I honestly do not Know how much my friend paid for this fragrance. I just checked out Amazon UK and have listed their prices for the three sizes that this fragrance comes in for you, just in case you are interested or to compare shop prices with. As you can see below it is very reasonably priced.
30ml ~ £8.53
50ml ~ £12.95
100ml ~ £16.24
I was given Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum as a gift for my birthday from my brother's ex girlfriend 2 years ago. She was a very pretty young girl that was lovely, if a bit dim and adored Paris Hilton. Unfortunately, I do not adore Paris but I appreciated the thought behind gift. Who knows, I might even like it...
Paris Hilton Just Me is a glamorous floral with a youthful energy that will take you through both day and night.
*About the Product (according the brand)*
Paris Hilton Just Me begins with sparkling top notes of juicy red berries, bergamot and spicy pink peppercorns that mingle to create a youthful energy. The heart of this fragrance is trend-setting and glamorous yet sweet, fun and innocent. Delicate lily of the valley, violet, iris, fressia petals and white rose combine to create a model bouquet for this 21st century socialite. The dry down unveils the sensual side of Paris Hitlon. Ylang ylang, warm tahitian vanilla, exotic egyptian sandalwood, skin musk and blood woods seductively embrace the soul.
*Price and Availability*
Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum can be bought in 2 different sizes. The prices for these bottles average at around:
- 30ml bottle: £9.99
- 100ml bottle: £16.99
The prices for this are very low but this says everything about the product. It is cheap and tacky and I will not be wearing it again!
This perfume can be purchased from a number of different places including Debenhams, Boots, The Perfume Shop and House of Fraser. It is also available to buy online from www.boots.com, a favourite shop of mine that is very reliable.
The packaging: Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum is packaged in a relatively tall, circular glass bottle. The colour of the glass is a tinted pink colour. It is a bright pink at bottom of the bottle and the colour gets slightly lighter towards the top but the change to being clear is not done well as it looks completely separated. The lid of this perfume is the same shape as the bottle and is clear with a pink top. The lid is one that does not click on properly to the bottle, a pet hate of mine and is therefore yet another thing on a long list that I dislike about this perfume.
I think the design and look of the bottle is very tacky in appearance and is not something that appeals to me in the slightest. I think that it looks cheap and unsophisticated, not something that I think is well designed at all. There is no doubt in my mind that the packaging of this product is aimed at a younger teenage market as it is pink and girly (as well as being rubbish in my opinion). It has a long way to go to compete with the likes of Givenchy, Ghost and Gucci!
The smell: The scent of Paris Hilton Just Me is a sickly floral smell. In my opinion it is simply too sweet and I don't like it in the slightest. It is strong and sharp and I didn't find that it calmed down for a long time after application.
The few times that I did try to persist with this perfume, I didn't have a single person ask me nicely what perfume I was wearing and my best friend evenly bluntly said to me that my perfume was awful. I love her honesty. So for that reason, you could call it a head-turner but for all the wrong reasons!
Staying power: I think this is the only time that I have wanted it to be none existent but unfortunately it isn't. When I was first given Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum, I really did persist with it for at least a week. And on those few days that I wore it the scent lasted until at least midday each time therefore the staying power is average (shame).
How many squirts of the perfume are required? Preferably none! But if you are, against my advice, going to wear this perfume, only 2 squirts of the perfume are necessary to get the full effects of the smell.
The brand says that this perfume is trend-setting and glamorous yet sweet, fun and innocent. I could not disagree more with all but one of these adjectives! I don't believe that this trend-setting in the slightest. It is unquestionably one of the worst perfumes that I have ever used therefore any brands that would want to copy this would be nuts. Glamorous? No way. I can't believe that they can even use this word to describe this product. I'm actually wondering if it was described by somebody that has absolutely no sense of smell. Sweet is where I think they are correct but it is too sweet. And as for fun and innocent, well I just don't think the description fits the actual aroma in the slightest.
Is it a glamorous floral with a youthful energy that will take you through both day and night? No, no and no. It is not a glamorous floral, more like a sickly floral that actually makes you want to vomit. It does not have a youthful energy although naïve youths are the only nutters that will want to wear it and it doesn't even last you all day and night.
Longevity of the product: It is either going to last forever because you will keep it in the hope that the smell will get a little better but trust me it doesn't. I tried to persist with it but to no avail. Or it will last a day when you realise how completely awful it is and it goes straight in the bin. Either way, if you have any sense you will not buy this out of choice.
*Would I Recommend This Perfume?*
I do not under any circumstances recommend this perfume. It is awful! I really do think that if you choose to buy this perfume, you might as well be throwing it down the drain. And if someone buys it for you as a present, do they actually like you? Are they really your friend? If yes, what have you done that was so bad to upset them? Am I making clear my dislike for this product? Any guys that are reading this please do not under any circumstances buy this for your girlfriend/sister/aunt/worst enemy when it comes to Christmas or birthdays! They will not thank you for it.
If I was to recommend this product to anyone, and it would be begrudgingly, it would be to Paris Hilton fans (if there are any) that like to own anything that has her name to it.
Now like I said, I was given this perfume as a present, so I sound like a complete cow with my utterly negative review of Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum. Let me make it clear that I totally appreciated the thought but my word of warning is to stay well clear of this perfume. It is fowl smelling, cheap looking and all in all awful. After all, who would want to smell like Paris Hilton anyway?
Just Me is a light fragrance and although it is geared towards a younger audience, I think that it suits all age ranges.
It contains a blend of Sandalwood and Vanilla, combined with Freesia Petals and White Rose.
It comes in a cute yet basic tall bottle, that fades from deep, hot pink at the bottom, up to clear glass at the top, with a silver rim round the top and a clear plastic lid.
Paris Hilton endorses it with the quote "What are you wearing?... It's Just Me!" which I think is really clever, and quite a good play on words.
A 50ml bottle can be picked up at many High Street shops for around £15 now, although the Recommended Retail Price still stands at £26.
I think this is a very versatile perfume that can be a casual, light day scent or a deep, captivating evening fragrance. Excellent quality, for excellent value.
Paris Hilton brings out another good scent with just me. The bottle represents Paris and this scent perfectly, it's a small pink love heart shape with silver rimming, just gorgeous. The fragrance is really girly and its main scent is red berries and bergamot. Not only is it girly but its sweet and fruity too, in my eyes that make a perfect combination. Also this fragrance is surprisingly cheap you can buy 100ml bottle for around £18-20. Another good thing about it is that it has staying power, a couple of sprays and you're virtually set for the day, which is good because I find the need to re-apply annoying. For me I would stick with this for day use but you could get away with wearing it on a fun girls night out because that's the nature of the perfume. Many friends have asked what scent it is when I've got it on and been surprised when I say Paris Hilton, don't stay way from this just because it's a celebrity scent try it you'll be surprised
Just love this perfume! I never thought I would buy perfume by Paris Hilton as I really don't like all the celeb stuff and saw it as a younger persons scent . However my teenage daughter insisted on having some as she is really into all the celeb stuff! To my surprise every time she wafted past
me I had to ask what lovely perfume she was wearing. I think it is a really fresh clean smell , sounds funny but like clean washing! My bottle is not exactly a work of art but it is pink so looks pretty on the side. Now I wear it people comment and ask what I am wearing. I know from looking around at that you can get some really good deals on it . I must admit I don't really want to put money in Paris' pocket I am sure she does not need it but it is a cracking perfume!
Just Me is a fragrance from Paris Hilton created in 2005. The perfume is a blend of raspberries, bergamont, pink pepper corn, violet, lily of the valley, iris, freesia petals, white rose, climbing ylang ylang, Tahitian vanilla, Egyptian sandalwood, multifaceted skin musk and blonde woods accord.
The perfume is very flowery and fresh, it can be worn day or night and for any occasion. It isn't too sweet but is very girly and it lasts so long, a couple of squirts and you're ready to go - it's definitely a head turner. The perfume starts out on a sharp note, almost harsh but quickly calms into a sweet floral smell with musky undertones.
The bottle is very nice; it's pink and girly with the Just Me engraved on the lid and there's the signature cute heart logo. I'd say it was for a younger person but if you like its floral smell I'm sure it'd suit anyone. It's also a good buy for any Paris Hilton fans.
The perfume is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles at £21, £26 and £36 respectively, this is for the Eau de Parfum. Eau de Toilette is cheaper at around £18 for a 30ml, £22 f0r 50ml and £26 for 100ml. There's also a body lotion and sometimes, there's promotional deals where you can get lip glosses, bags or a Tinkerbell dog toy. You can buy it from online perfume shops such as www.fragrancedirect.co.uk, this offers it at a slightly cheaper price than the ones I've mentioned.
You can also purchase it from Boots, Debenhams and other department stores.
This review can also be found on Ciao.co.uk, under the same name :)
This perfume is very nice it comes in either a special heart shaped bottle as pictured and also a cylinder shaped bottle. It is pink and this fades until it is clear it has a silver rim around the top which says just me on it. The box is pink and silver metallic. I think the design of the product is great as it is very girly and fits the product well.
I was quite suprised when I tried this product I thought it may have been a cheap and nasty smell and the perfume was just another thing for paris to put her name on. It is quite sweet and girly. It has tones of red berries and bergamont in it. It does smell quite similar to other perfumes on the market but it is also a lot cheaper than these other perfumes. From boots it is only £18 for 100ml so this is great value for money.
When on the smell does last for quite a long time so you don't need to keep reapplying it.
I think this is a fresh young and girly fragrance and would definatley recommend trying it.
Make a grand entrance with a fragrance that epitomizes the high society girl. You'll be asked,
