I was given Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum as a gift for my birthday from my brother's ex girlfriend 2 years ago. She was a very pretty young girl that was lovely, if a bit dim and adored Paris Hilton. Unfortunately, I do not adore Paris but I appreciated the thought behind gift. Who knows, I might even like it...

*The Claim*

Paris Hilton Just Me is a glamorous floral with a youthful energy that will take you through both day and night.

*About the Product (according the brand)*

Paris Hilton Just Me begins with sparkling top notes of juicy red berries, bergamot and spicy pink peppercorns that mingle to create a youthful energy. The heart of this fragrance is trend-setting and glamorous yet sweet, fun and innocent. Delicate lily of the valley, violet, iris, fressia petals and white rose combine to create a model bouquet for this 21st century socialite. The dry down unveils the sensual side of Paris Hitlon. Ylang ylang, warm tahitian vanilla, exotic egyptian sandalwood, skin musk and blood woods seductively embrace the soul.

*Price and Availability*

Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum can be bought in 2 different sizes. The prices for these bottles average at around:
- 30ml bottle: £9.99
- 100ml bottle: £16.99
The prices for this are very low but this says everything about the product. It is cheap and tacky and I will not be wearing it again!

This perfume can be purchased from a number of different places including Debenhams, Boots, The Perfume Shop and House of Fraser. It is also available to buy online from www.boots.com, a favourite shop of mine that is very reliable.

*My Opinion*

The packaging: Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum is packaged in a relatively tall, circular glass bottle. The colour of the glass is a tinted pink colour. It is a bright pink at bottom of the bottle and the colour gets slightly lighter towards the top but the change to being clear is not done well as it looks completely separated. The lid of this perfume is the same shape as the bottle and is clear with a pink top. The lid is one that does not click on properly to the bottle, a pet hate of mine and is therefore yet another thing on a long list that I dislike about this perfume.

I think the design and look of the bottle is very tacky in appearance and is not something that appeals to me in the slightest. I think that it looks cheap and unsophisticated, not something that I think is well designed at all. There is no doubt in my mind that the packaging of this product is aimed at a younger teenage market as it is pink and girly (as well as being rubbish in my opinion). It has a long way to go to compete with the likes of Givenchy, Ghost and Gucci!

The smell: The scent of Paris Hilton Just Me is a sickly floral smell. In my opinion it is simply too sweet and I don't like it in the slightest. It is strong and sharp and I didn't find that it calmed down for a long time after application.

The few times that I did try to persist with this perfume, I didn't have a single person ask me nicely what perfume I was wearing and my best friend evenly bluntly said to me that my perfume was awful. I love her honesty. So for that reason, you could call it a head-turner but for all the wrong reasons!

Staying power: I think this is the only time that I have wanted it to be none existent but unfortunately it isn't. When I was first given Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum, I really did persist with it for at least a week. And on those few days that I wore it the scent lasted until at least midday each time therefore the staying power is average (shame).

How many squirts of the perfume are required? Preferably none! But if you are, against my advice, going to wear this perfume, only 2 squirts of the perfume are necessary to get the full effects of the smell.

The brand says that this perfume is trend-setting and glamorous yet sweet, fun and innocent. I could not disagree more with all but one of these adjectives! I don't believe that this trend-setting in the slightest. It is unquestionably one of the worst perfumes that I have ever used therefore any brands that would want to copy this would be nuts. Glamorous? No way. I can't believe that they can even use this word to describe this product. I'm actually wondering if it was described by somebody that has absolutely no sense of smell. Sweet is where I think they are correct but it is too sweet. And as for fun and innocent, well I just don't think the description fits the actual aroma in the slightest.

Is it a glamorous floral with a youthful energy that will take you through both day and night? No, no and no. It is not a glamorous floral, more like a sickly floral that actually makes you want to vomit. It does not have a youthful energy although naïve youths are the only nutters that will want to wear it and it doesn't even last you all day and night.

Longevity of the product: It is either going to last forever because you will keep it in the hope that the smell will get a little better but trust me it doesn't. I tried to persist with it but to no avail. Or it will last a day when you realise how completely awful it is and it goes straight in the bin. Either way, if you have any sense you will not buy this out of choice.

*Would I Recommend This Perfume?*

I do not under any circumstances recommend this perfume. It is awful! I really do think that if you choose to buy this perfume, you might as well be throwing it down the drain. And if someone buys it for you as a present, do they actually like you? Are they really your friend? If yes, what have you done that was so bad to upset them? Am I making clear my dislike for this product? Any guys that are reading this please do not under any circumstances buy this for your girlfriend/sister/aunt/worst enemy when it comes to Christmas or birthdays! They will not thank you for it.

If I was to recommend this product to anyone, and it would be begrudgingly, it would be to Paris Hilton fans (if there are any) that like to own anything that has her name to it.

*Overall*

Now like I said, I was given this perfume as a present, so I sound like a complete cow with my utterly negative review of Paris Hilton Just Me Eau de Parfum. Let me make it clear that I totally appreciated the thought but my word of warning is to stay well clear of this perfume. It is fowl smelling, cheap looking and all in all awful. After all, who would want to smell like Paris Hilton anyway?
