Advantages: Light, fresh fragrance that won't cost a fortune.
Disadvantages: May need to reapply during the day to refresh the scent.
For christmas I had asked for some more perfume and I got quite a few new fragrances to try and Paris Hilton was one of them.
*~*Just who is Paris Hilton?*~*
Paris Hilton is the heiress to the chain of hotels called the Hilton. Born in February 1981 she is only a few months older than me and she has tried her hand at modelling, singing and acting and now it seems that she is keen on developing new scents to add to her evergrowing collection.
*~*The Bottle*~*
I had asked my brother to purchase this scent for me as a colleague wore it in work and I loved the smell so I had to try and describe the fragrance to him. I started by describing to him that it was in a pink bottle...not really a good start as they are pretty much all pink bottles in some way.
The main way to distinguise this bottle is by the black wavy lines that flow down the pink glass bottle and Paris Hilton written around the lid.
*~*The fragrance*~*
The scent of this perfume is a more daytime scent which is light and reminds me of white musk with some fruity notes thrown in for good measure it is fresh and sexy which does make you feel a little good about yourself when you put it on.
The description of the scent is a top note of frozen apple, peach nectar, wet ozone, and sparkling muguet. The centre note are freesia, mimosa, jasmine, and tuberose. Bottom note are skin musk, sandalwood, ylang ylang, oakmoss, and pheromone. Overall the combination of all of the different scents makes a truly beautiful fragrance that won't break the bank.
It tends to be targeted to a younger audience but this would really suit someone in their twenties as the scent is a little more grown up than her other fragrances.
I got this in a gift set along with a handbag sized fragrance, body lotion and a solid perfume which is great to apply to the pressure points.
I have had this a few months now and despite using it quite a few times in the week it does tend to last and I still have loads left to use.
As with all fragrances they do smell differently on other people but this fragrance is light, refreshing and ideal for wearing to work.
Paris Hilton is the first fragrance in her collection and is suprisingly better than other celebrity perfumes out there and if you are a bit wary try this one it is the most grown up one out there.
Summary: Team it with a body lotion to make the smell linger for longer.

lillamarta - 11/03/08 I bet the 'stars' themselves are the last people to wear this fragrance ;-). Great review. |
