A friend got me a set of mini perfumes for Christmas and this Dior Poison was one of them. I love my fragrances light and breezy and never really go for heavy scents as it tends to smell too overpowering and causes my head to ache.

So anyway, I thought I'd put some of this perfume on my wrist and wear it for a few hours, so I could test out whether I would actually be able to wear of properly or not. The bottle (full size) looks quite nice and I think it comes with a little spray attachment you have to squeeze. This gives it the classic perfume look that you'd see in old movies. I haven't actually seen many perfumes with this spray attachment on and thought it looked quite cute.

I decided that if I ended up liking this scent, I would love to get the full size bottle as it just looked like nothing that I'd already owned before and I do love my novelty and unusual stuff.
After applying this perfume to my wrist, I already noticed that it was very strong and too heavy smelling for my liking. It made my head spin and I was hoping that the scent would become less overpowering as the day went on.
Unfortunately for me, the heavy scent wouldn't fade and I even tried washing it off. It just wouldn't come off! When I woke up the next day and after a long bath, I could still smell if on my skin! it was as if it was imbedded underneath all my skin layers and it wouldn't come off!

So decided that this perfume is no good for me. It's way too heavy in my opinion and for girls who like their scents light and breezy, this one is just way too heavy and over powering.
