A very cloying heavy perfume (Christian Dior: Poison, Eau de Toilette)

Advantages: will last for ever as you only have to put on a tiny amount

Disadvantages: put on too much and you will stink the place out

This is one of the few perfumes I know of which, rather like Marmite, you either love or you hate.

I absolutely hate it! It is such a cloying smell, it almost makes me feel physically sick.

And the other thing is that it can smell really nice on one person, but absolutely horrible on me. Other perfumes I have worn, just seem to smell the same on everyone.

Perhaps it is the way the the people I have know have worn it. One friend of mine wore so much of it that you could tell she was coming around corner, because a haze of this perfume would waft down the corridors in front of her.

So if you do choose to buy this perfume, my advice would be to get a small bottle to try at first, and to use it extremely sparingly. That way you won't be doing the equivalent of Bet in the Rovers and wearing outrageous earrings.....
