Unlike other Dior fragrances such as 'Ma Cherie' Poison has an alluring quality to it that isn't just in the name.
I use this mainly for a night out, a dinner or going to a restaurant. It has a real smoky texture to the fragrance which I love, but know isn't really suitable for day time wear.

From personal experience and an overactive imagination, I always feel somewhat like a secret agent when putting on this fragrance, think female bond 007, not lycra and uncomfortable suits. It helps me prepare to attempt to get my flirty side out, or at least put me in character for the dark mysterious stranger type.

The design is good too, it fits with the image of a curious little potion bottle, capturing the imagination.

If too much is used I find the allure becomes a bit husky, and is not suitable for daytime wear.

Its a good little potion and if you want to splash out for that little something which is sleek and sexy go for it. Just don't use too much, you don't want to overpower people with the scent. Less is more.
