Antonio Puig: Quorum, Eau de Toilette

Quorum is the one aftershave I've consistently bought and used for years. In my distant past as a nightclub manager I was introduced to Quorum by a D.J with the immortal words " get some of this sprayed on you, it's right pulling tackle" and after having a smell and liking it, decided to give it a go, and have used it ever since. Quorum is at the cheaper end of the designer aftershave market but smells as good as more expensive brands, and it lasts all night, in fact longer, you can smell it on your clothes the next day so it is a strong one and not for the faint hearted old spice or lynx type of guy. **Introduction** I hadnt heard of this fragrance before I found it on the tv shopping channel Bid TV. They were offering this fragrance along with Eau by Paco Rabanne. Quorum was created and released in 1982 by Antonio Puig. I paid a total of £15.98 including the postage and packing fee of £7.99. Not bad I thought as a 50ml bottle of this fragrane typically goes for around £17 on it's own. This is a very masculine fragrance which is as comfortable in the boardroom as it is in the local supermarket. The fragrance has overtones of pine and subtle undertones of musk and wood. It feels very cool as it goes on, this is probably owing to its high alcohol content. This is a bold fragrance but not overpowering and it mellows with time on the skin to a warm woody scent.
