I myself am very funny when it comes to aftershave. I know what I like and tend to stick to it. I dont like to change my fragrence too much or I end up smelling like ten different fragrances all at once. However at Christmas what is the number one gift you always revieve from people. I bought Polo Black about a month ago after testing a number of other aftershaves and liking its smell the best. The smell itself is very pleasant, it combines fragrance with subtlety which is something I particularly like. I don't like aftershaves which smell too strongly but obviously you do want an aftershave that has a good smell that is evident just not completely obvious. I have had a few people I know comment on how nice the smell is since I have had the aftershave which is reassuring. Ralph Lauren Polo Black is a great smelling frangrance in a stylish container. Simplicity is everything with this scent; the bottle displays only a single emblem on a black background - what more do we need to know, it's Polo, it's good. The fragrance is wonderful. It is subtle and sophisticated, best suited to more formal occasions and evening events. This is definately a manly fragrance, however not body-builder but refined gentleman. What a gorgeous smell!!,But I have found that it doesn't last that well on my skin,which is disappointing.I like to have a long lasting fragrance,but I struggled to get any good smell after about 45 minutes.I have heard of others wearing it and it lasts,my brother wore mine,and he wants my bottle...!!,so am am slightly baffled.If you want to buy this,I recommend seeing if you can get a tester/sample spray,a cheap bottle,or lend some.I am sure you will like the smell,but will you be let down with the staying power,like me?
