I was thinking about buying some proper perfume, as I thought my Charlie, was great but I wanted to buy a perfume that had a much more respectable name. It was Christmas, so I toured round boots with my mum looking for perfumes, J-lo Glow in particular because of all the advertising I assumed it was great but the smell wore away in an hour and the smell wasn't that fantastic anyway.

So, I started taking interest in the Ralph Lauren. I really liked the bottle design, very modern but still very funky. Small, clear, modernly shaped and blue... feminine without going right over the the top with pink and flowers. A lot of advertising had been done in my teenage magazines, and you can often test it and I really liked the scent very fresh and very young. I guess you could say that this perfume is more for the younger generation because of where it's advertised and the packaging.

I bought my perfume in a Ralph Lauren Gift set, which included Sparkly body lotion, perfume, Shower gel and a reasonable sized sparkly blue makeup bag. I purchased this from Binns, but I think this was a promotional offer because I haven't seen this offer lately. The shower gel and body lotion, if you are interested is probably avaliable from shops but I haven't really looked for it so I cannot say where to find them.

The bottle I bought was the smallest size this perfume could be bought at, and looking in the shops it is £25.00, which is slightly disapointing because to be fair the bottle is very small. However, when people ask where your perfume is, it's nice to say "It's Ralph Lauren" because it make's you sound classy.

The perfume itself is very fresh, funky and young. It isn't the typical strong perfume that your granny wears; it's sweet and is in a way quite sexy. The staying power of this is great. I put some on for school this morning, and now I am home I can still smell it really strongly. The perfume alth
ough being in a small bottle, lasts a long time (depending on how much you use it); I suggest that you don't use it every day because it could go quite quick.
