I can appreciate its quaility , but its not for me !

Roja Dove is a world renowned perfume expert. He trained at Guerlain in France before travelling the world in search of inspiration to create his own brand perfumes in 2007.

"Enslaved" is one of three exquisite and sumptious perfumes that he has designed and launched in 2007, the other two being "Scandal" and "Unspoken".

"Enslaved" is an expression of femininity and is catergorized as an Oriental perfume.

It has top notes of orange, orange blossom, bergamot, geranium and lemon; middle notes of carnation, jasmine, cloves, ylang-ylang and rose; base notes of labdanum, amber, patchouli, musk, oakmoss, vetiver and cedar.

I was lucky enough to get a free sample of this at a PR event.

It retails at around £93 for 100ml and there is a matching body cream (175ml) available for around £67.50.

It smells of pure, adulterated luxury. Its expensiveness exudes from every detail from immediate hit of the top notes to the design of the brand and the shape of the bottle.

It oozes sophistication and for me, jasmine is the strongest of the blended scents in this fragrance.

It is a strong and dominant perfume - I could still smell it towards the end of the day after spraying on a couple of scooches in the morning.

After letting it settle, I have decided its not a perfume that I would choose to wear. I'm mid thirties and I felt that it was too heavy and too sophisticated for me - it may be suited to a slightly more mature woman.

To add to its excusivity, there are only a few outlets which retail this.

Roja Dove has set up The Roja Dove Haute Parfumeries in selected locations around the UK.

These are based in Urban Retreat on the fifth floor of Harrods, London and also in Jenners, Edinburgh and House of Fraser, Guildford. Its most definately not available in most of the High Street stores !

It will be very appealing to a very specific market, but its not for me. In the Oriental section, I'm much happier with a younger, less expensive fragrance such as Guerlain Samsara or Chanel Allure.
