Advantages: Elegant, Feminine Bottle & The Scent At First Is Quite Nice

Disadvantages: Everything Else.

Im slowly working through my perfume collection recently and as Ive reviewed the other two SJP fragrances I own I thought Id do this one today while all the information is still fresh in my mind. Oh and Im giving it away tomorrw to a friend so I thought Id write about it before I dont own it anymore and forget what it smells like. It smells nasty in case you hadnt got that already LOL. Anyway I got this as a present for my birthday from my mom along with another SJP scent mainly because she knows I am a fan of her as a person but out of her perfumes I have tried I have to say I am not a fan of most of them.

A 100ml bottle of this scent will set you back around £28 from fragrancenet.com but I think that is about average price for this wherever you buy it although you might be able to pick it up slightly cheaper in places like Bodycare of The Perfume Shop. Keep your eyes out and you might pick up a bargain.

The bottle for this perfume is actually one of the nicest things about the perfume as a whole. Being baby pink in colour and having a pretty ordinary shape actually works in its favour because it just looks effortlessy cute and feminine. This is exactly the type of thing I would expect from SJP because love her or hate her you have to admit she is very stylish and that is transferred to this bottle. It is very elegant, feminine & I think women of all ages will love this bottle as its not unique but it does look very nice. This will make a nice addition to any perfume collection and it does look great on my dressing table - well for now anyway! I wish I could say Ill be keeping the bottle but that choice will be down to my friend.

After a quick peek around the net I found the main ingredients in this perfume are as follows: Apple Martini, Rosewood, Lavender, White Musk, Cedar, White Amber, Orchid & Daffodil and judging by those if I had never smelt this I wouldnt be able to guess what this smelt like - its better off staying that way to be honest. When first sprayed the strongest scent is definately the rosewood & daffodil so it is a very feminine, floral scent to begin with. At first it actually smells quite nice if a little strong but I thought once it died down it would be a lovely, light scent. When it fades down it only gets worse as the notes of martini, amber & musk make a really strong appearance and I do not think the scents mix well together at all. It smells quite alcoholic and the musk and amber seem to form a really masculine scent - just like her other perfume Covet and it starts to smell much more like you would expect an aftershave to smell rather than that light, floral fragrance I was initially expecting. It gets much heavier and stronger as it starts to die down so much so I actually had to wash it off my neck and I havent worn it since. It really is nasty and I dont recommend anyone wears this.

If you are planning on buying this then I think it is better for evening wear as it does become quite heavy and musky too much for daytime but I dont think Id could recommend a perfect age group that would like this most - I dont understand why anyone likes it but hey! each to their own I guess. Dont waste your money.
