I purchased the Sean John Unforgivable Woman gift set from Ebay at the beginning of last year for around £20 brand new. Included in this gift set was a 75ml bottle of eau de parfum and three Sean John lip glosses in a variety of shades. I had heard many positive comments about this particular scent and had high hopes that it would live up to its hype. Before purchasing this set I had previously seen this perfume in the likes of Boots and had considered purchasing it, but at the time the perfume alone cost around £30 just for a small 30ml bottle. I couldn't justify paying such a high price for a celebrity perfume, even if it is from P Diddy/Diddy/Puff Daddy (whatever he likes to call himself these days). Therefore, I opted for the cheaper alternative - Ebay. This review will concern only the fragrance itself, as I will review the lip glosses at a later stage. Currently, the cheapest prices for this perfume stand at: £24.95 (75 ml EDP @ Cheap Smells) £15.00 (Gift set w/ lip glosses @ Ebay (buy it now)) £22.00 (30 ml EDT @ Boots) Therefore, it is available much cheaper now than it was previously. In my view, this is most likely attributable to the fact that Unforgivable has been out for a few years now and in the interim P Diddy has gone on to release more fragrances. *~* How does it look? *~* The bottle itself is made of cloudy, bronzed glass and is square in shape. With its gold lid bearing the SJ initials and the Sean John signature imprinted on the front of the bottle, this fragrance looks very classy, simple and more expensive than its actual cost in my opinion. I really like the metallic tones of the bottle, as I think that this adds a nice, contemporary touch and differentiates this fragrance from others available on the market. *~* How does it smell? *~* This is a very warm, musky fragrance in my estimation that is more suited for wearing at night time. I am not going to go into the specifics of the top notes, heart notes etc as I am no fragrance expert. However, if I were to describe the fragrance I would say that it is very floral with a fruity, zesty twist. I can instantly recognise the smell of grapefruit from this scent and all the elements infuse well together to deliver a lovely smelling fragrance. I find that this perfume smells rather strong to begin with but this soon dies down and leaves a nice, musky smelling fragrance that lasts for many hours. Usually, if I apply this during the day I will still smell it on me when I am getting ready to go to bed at night, so I cannot fault it in terms of its staying power. *~* Overall *~* I do like this perfume and I think that overall it delivers a very nice, long lasting scent. However, it is not my favourite fragrance. Having said that, it is still a good effort from P Diddy when you consider that it is the first female fragrance that he has released, as it is a decent, understated perfume and different from all of the other scents that I own. I am not too sure as to whether I will buy this again once my current bottle runs out, but I would still recommend this to those who like musky yet fruity fragrances. I award this scent 4 Dooyoo stars. Thanks for reading!
