“ Brand: Sean John / Type: Fragrance / Concentration: Eau de Toilette / Gender: for women „
my partner bought me this as a present and since then i have not been without it. i can honestly say i love the scent and my partner has the mens edt and thats gorgeous also! its not a heavy scent and it lasts all day.its a lovely fresh feminine fragrance. my friends commented on the fragrance and has even bought it after smelling it on me!
This unforgiveable aftershave is a really masculine one and stays on my skin really well. It comes in a 125ml bottle for around £45.00, which is really expensive but you can find it cheaper online and elsewhere. The bottle is dark and tinted but you can see through it in the light. The Sean John signature is on the front and it says Unforgiveable in gold writing on the back too.
There is a large cold cap on the top with the S.J intials and it comes off to reveal the spray button, which is also gold with these initials. The spray works rather well but you must press it down quickly or it just sprays out a stream of liquid rather than a mist of the aftershave. The button doesn't push down very far, which means that not too much aftershave will spray out - only a small amount instead.
The aftersahve has a very intense and somewhat spicy smell at first, but it settles down to a very subtle and mild smell on my skin, however it does remain there all day. It's quite a posh and warming aroma, which is pretty attractive. It's not the best aftershave I have bought - neither is it the most unique so overall, I wouldn't actually recommend it. It may work better on other people's skin though so I'd still try it as a sample!
Thanks for reading,
Out shopping one day, I absent-mindedly picked up a perfume and spritzed it on myself without looking at what it was. Upon seeing that it bore the Sean John (AKA P Diddy, AKA Puff Daddy) moniker, I panicked. Would I now have to reek all day of the kind of girls you see in rap videos, scantily clad and shaking their 'jelly'? A few hours later I was surprised to find that I actually really liked the scent and a few weeks later (after finding the best price, of course) I was the proud owner of a bottle.
Sean John's Unforgivable Woman eau de toilette is just one product in a huge range of clothing and toiletries 'designed' by the American rapper. It comes in an opaque pinkish rounded cube of a bottle, with a rose-gold coloured lid. I'd say it's the least attractive perfume bottle in my collection, and the cheap looking metallic lid is the worst part.
According to Boots.com: "Sean John Unforgivable Woman contains creamy, floral, warm and luscious notes, this delicate blend of bergamot, orange flower, jasmine and coco de mer leave you feeling entisive yet elusive. In the middle, notes of grapefruit, cyclamen and violet leave you feeling sensual. The innocence comes from the citrus and floral, while the temptation intensifies when jasmine and freesia caress. The heat is the seduction of wood and amber," whilst according to the Sean John fragrances website, Unforgivable Woman "embodies the essence of sensuality that intoxicates the senses" and is "a seductive scent that expresses what it is to be the Unforgivable Woman."
Well I don't know about all of that and I'm terrible at identifying scents in perfumes, but when it's first sprayed I find this perfume quite strong, heavy and musky; but within half an hour or so it settles right down and becomes much lighter and almost has a talcum powder smell to it. I find that this perfume really has staying power too, and I can still smell it on my wrists at the end of the day, and if I can still smell it, other people will certainly be able to.
So although it's not the most fantastic perfume I've ever smelled, and I wouldn't wear it on a special occasion, it's light subtleness and lasting stamina make it an ideal everyday grown-up perfume for work.
75 ml costs £34.26 on the Boots website at the time of writing, but I often see this fragrance on offer in cheaper stores - I got mine from Wilkinson's for £20 (75ml). I have been using it every work day since Christmas and am still only 1/3 of the way down the bottle - great value for money! It's only getting four stars though because of the tacky bottle.

I have had this aftershave for ages now and the 125ml bottle is still half full. I don't use it regularly, as I change the aftershaves I wear everyday. This one is very nice though and comes in a stylish container. It has a lighter smell to it, but a very nice one and it smells wonderful.
It comes in a dark brown plastic container that is kind of ribbed, but with the effect made by many ridges. There are long rectangle ridges sticking out going all round the container down the whole thing. Not only does this give it a lovely effect and cool look, but also makes it easy to grab and grip. The container is shaped so the bottle exactly fits into there. The lid is the same, and simply fits onto the top. It has the Sean John logo on it represented as a posh 'SJ' in fancy letters.
The bottle itself follows the same colour scheme, made from dark brown class. It is very elegant and posh looking with a gold lid and spray button that suits it very well. On one side of the bottle, it is signed 'Sean John' and the other side titles the aftershave as 'Unforgivable'. It is a unique name that I like, and the bottle has a really elegant and warm look to it. This is then emphasised when you spray it on. A small golden lid fits well onto the spray button to stop it from leaking and spraying by accident if in a toiletry bag in a suitcase.
It smells wonderful. It has a very elegant sense to the smell, as it is quite a rich smell, yet soft and full of aroma. All the ingredients fuse together to provide a warming, flavoursome and beautiful odour. The smell will stay on me all day, and it doesn't wear off easily. It seems to have a rich smell on the surface, but beneath is full of different smells that are lovely and warming. It gives out the luxurious, sexy, warm feeling from the bottom of your heart.
It is one of the more expensive aftershaves, but for 125ml and such a lovely smell, it isn't bad at all. The RRP is £45.00 but you can buy it now in most shops for £39.99 or under. It is well worth it for this product, as it will last you a while. For such an aftershave, it is a good buy even at this price.
This aftershave has a lovely smell to it and a unique look. It is a rather luxurious one, perhaps to be used on special ocassions or at business meetings, but don't make your customer feel too sexed up or I think you may be doing some other business! On a serious note though, it has a lush look to it and this is proven by the smell, which is gorgeous and sexy.

* SMELL LIKE DIDDY, OR LIKE PEE?
"You smell good." Is there anything more important in the world than exuding a smell that means you literally have to fight the opposite sex off with a stick? Maybe there are some more important things; beauty, style... intellect, health, I suppose. Without going too over the top with how important smelling good, I think one of the greatest compliments you can get is being someone that permanently smells 'above acceptable'. And with a society that loves the big celebrity names, it is no surprise that we have began to wear things that include the celebrity name tag, now even including fragreances and after shave.
Unforgivable is the fragreance for men by Sean John, better known in the music world as P Diddy. You will have seen the commercial for the problem on television, that is stylishly done starring Mr Sean John himself. The advert is supposed to spell out what a bottle of Unforgivable would leak;
And with these words, and some fluttering curtains in the background, we are lead to believe that Unforgivable is for a strong powerful man that is going to have to begin fighting women off. I found that the musical score accompanying the commercial is very appropriate, and the aftershave had immediate appeal for me because I actually went looking to see if there was a three+ minute version of the song somewhere on the internet. Then I got slightly bored of it, but I knew if there was one celebrity I wanted to smell like, it weren't Beckham.
* YOU SMELL GOOD TONIGHT
I don't find it hard to believe that there are people out there that get slightly obsessed with big name perfumes, and that people throw huge parties just for the launch of the latest Paris Hilton. With almost every new fragreance out on the market you get an individual smell, and whilst you would have to have a pretty smart nose to be able to indentify every single one, by using fragreances you can certainly define your own smell that your friends will be able to sniff you out from like sniffer dogs on a crack cocaine case.
To be completely honest I'm finding it quite awkward to do this review in the daytime, based off the fact that I don't want to waste any Unforgivable on me right now because no doubt I will be spraying some on me before I go out tonight (it is Friday afterall). And there definitly is a feeling of not wanting to waste a single drop when it comes to Sean John, because afterall you have just paid out around £30 on something that washes off. I remember when I recently went to London, I refused to take my Sean John with me due to the fact I was scared it could leak. Not because it would make all my clothes, and toothbrush, smell.. but because it would have been such a sad waste. I probably would of cried. From that sort of point of view I guess it is acceptable to say that I can go a day without wearing Unforgivable, and on a pretty big occassion, however longer than one day is a different matter.
I get tied up with whether to call it Sean John or Unforgivable, because whilst Unforgivable is the title of it this is the only SJ fragreance on the market to my knowledge and that just rolls off the tongue easier. The bottle is tiny really, showing that you will more than likely have to get a college of these little bottles on your bedside table. Just like most aftershaves out there though the bottle design does exude charisma in the way the dark tinted class curls around at the bottom, and the lid that peels off looks either gold or silver depending what sort of light you catch it in, but the whole smoothness of the design makes you want to just crasp it in the hand. I think maybe the seduction element in the commercial is really getting to me, as I don't remember going into this much detail when reviewing a yoghurt pot.
Considering I have had the product since just after Christmas, and no I didn't grab it in a sale, it is fair to say that not much has left the bottle although I save it for more of a big occassion moment and use products like Lynx and FCUK on other occassions. How can I describe the smell, well first I was scared it would be a little strong but now I am in love with it. You can most certainly spray it everywhere and it won't even get down your throat throughout the night like some products will. And whilst perhaps having a hangover in the morning and still being able to smell the Sean John on your clothes can be a little offputting, at least it shows you that the fragrance has work and it's your own stupid drunken self that has scared everyone away (that's if you didn't get any of course, and Unforgivable is becoming like a law that you must get some when you wear it). How can I sum up the smell of the product? The first word that came to my mums lips was fruity, yes she was smelling the bottle, not my neck. There is certainly nothing here for P Diddy to be forgiven for, as this has became one of my favourite products, and so what if it's making him very, very rich.
