This was a belated Christmas (December 2011) present that I got sometime in January (2012). I had never heard of this brand before, and was very open minded about trying it.
~~Current Price & Additional Information~~
Present - Not sure where you can get this. It is in an 100ml bottle and comes in the yellow box shown.
Alcohol Denat, parfums, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, cinnamal, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, coumarin, eugenol, geraniol, hexylcinnamal, butylphenyl methylpropional, lionene, linalool, water. May contain: CI 60730/Ext. violet 2, CI 14700/Red 4, CI 19140/Yellow 5, CI 42090/Blue 1, CI 17200/ Red 33
It comes in the yellow box, and I'm not sure if this is indicative of the other perfume bottles sold by this brand, but the inside is pretty dirty. The box was wrapped up so it hasn't been tampered with in the shop. The inside white card that holds the perfume is also dusty. The bottle is around 15cm with the cap being 5cm and curved. The colour is a deep orange colour - darker than in the picture.
The initial smell is rather powdery and similar to baby powder with a hint of spice which I didn't really like. It got worse however and after it settles in a bit more, it very unfortunately reminds me of washing detergent - the powdery smell takes on a more sickly scent as well... It's really difficult to know what to use this for! My friend's mother described it as a rather old-fashioned smell. Of course I told the person that gave it to me that I liked it very much, but it's not something I would ever think of wearing or even recommending to anybody.
The sprayer part also annoyed me since one press of the button and it seems to have squirted out a huge amount - probably the equivalent of several sprays of my other perfumes! This means that it is unpleasantly runny when you first apply it on and get the nasty shock of baby powder/washing detergent on you! The bottle looks quite nice and classical, but I don't think it's enough to make me keep it unfortunately. The deep orange colour is also quite off-putting!
Would not recommend to anybody!
