A Remarkable Young Perfume (So...?: Superstar, Eau De Toilette)

Advantages: Light, clean, fruity and very low priced

Disadvantages: Probably not a brand suited to over thirties.

I had always assumed this was a young perfume that was aimed at teenagers and young ladies so previously I had never thought to try anything from the So...? range. My daughter picked up a couple of gift sets in the Boots sale that contained this perfume for an amazing price so naturally I decided I should give it a try.

It usually costs around £6 or £7 for a 50ml bottle which I think is very reasonable. In the Boots post-Christmas sale my daughter purchased gift sets that contained 50ml of the perfume along with a small 75ml body spray, a glittery bag and a nice blusher brush for £2.44 each. Yes really!

I think what initially attracted me to this perfume was the light, clean, fruity scent that I found to be very young without being childish or underdeveloped. I thought this had a bit of a pear and flower scent to it and on checking the internet, I find it actually contains orange, pomegranate and passion fruit along with freesia and lily of the valley.

The base is almond and musk which is probably why I find that this is a suitable scent for more mature women. That said, the packaging and the brand are definetely aimed at the younger generations so I am not sure how I would feel about having this on my dressing table as a permenant fixture. I would definetely recommend it to younger ladies though and I am happy to make occasional use of my daughter's for a bit of daytime glamour.
