I was on the lookout for a nice summery perfume last year, and found this lovely scent from the Body Shop.

The first thing that attracted me was the bottle - a simple rectangular shape with a pretty pink and white cherry blossom pattern. Spraying on the scent, I thought it was lovely: light, summery and floral.

This perfume contains star jasmine, cherry blossom and Japanese persimmon, as well as sandalwood, Hinoki wood and fruity musk.

I really like Body Shop perfumes in the summer, as I find normal perfumes too heavy, and apparently the ingredients can react in the sun. This perfume, like other Body Shop perfumes, is light and doesn't last too long on the skin, but to be honest this is exactly what I need in the summer - I don't want to be overpowered by scent on a hot day. And the bottle is a nice size to carry around in your bag.

This perfume is expensive compared to some other BS products, but quite cheap compared to other perfumes on the market. A 50ml bottle costs £14.65.

I've put mine away for now, as it's definitely a spring/summer scent and it's a bit too chilly right now! However, I'm looking forward to getting it out again next year when the weather starts to get warmer.
