I quite often buy cheaper perfumes from places such as lush and body shop as they are priced much cheaper than designer ones which means I can use them every day and leave my more expensive ones for special occasions. I normally buy solid perfumes as these offer the best value but if I like the fragrance enough I will buy the eau de toilette.

Japanese cherry blossom contains cherry blossom from Japan, star jasmine, persimmon, fruity musk and sandlewood.
The overwhelming feeling from this perfume is one of femininity but it doesn't smell too young and girly. It has such a pretty delicate fragrance that really envelopes me and it is by far one of my favourite body shop perfumes next to white musk.

I personally think it is the sandlewood and musk that stop this from being too flowery and give it more of a sophistication that is lacking in some floral fragrances.
When I am wearing this people often compliment me and are usuall shocked when I tell them it is from the body shop as it smells so expensive and classy.

I also really like the bottle with this one. It doesn't have the clean, fuss free bottles of some of the other perfumes and is decorated with a pink sticker and braches from the cherry blossom tree. It gives it an oriental look and I think it is a good indication of what the perfume is like.

The perfume is also really good value in comparison with designer ones and is only £15 a bottle. When you compare this to the £30 to £50 that I normally pay for an eau de toilette then this makes it even better value especially as it doesn't smell cheap or artificial.

If I could change one thing about it then I would wish for it to be a little longer lasting than it is. I can usually get around 4 hours with this but I would love for the scent to linger even longer as it is so pretty.
